tbh nicholas needs to get his morals straight for sure. it’s clear he supports the brothers but isn’t as vocal as cooper is ab it. they’re both different people who chose to shed light in different ways which was fine. i was tryna give him that benefit of the doubt but he did have a choice to decline taking pictures. like at his grown age he can say no😭 it’s disrespectful and completely contradicts what he’s saying. ive seen a lot of ppl say he would’ve gotten backlash for declining which i highly doubt since there was a very good reason for it. idk he gotta start acting right 🤷🏽‍♀️
I also get this and agree with this but maybe he really didn’t think that through, again why would he do that to himself?
A lot of people are bringing this up and advocating for victims is needed and important but the way it’s being delivered with this topic right now, is a bigger issue at this point.
But then again, I said everything I thought about this subject in this post.
With this said, I don’t want to talk more about this — so I am no longer accepting messages at this time, because it is making me anxious, I have bad social anxiety. I hope you understand 🤍 it’s not personal but I want to be present to my boyfriend who just got home from work, watch Harry Potter and chill lol

It definitely took me by surprise to see how quickly the internet was canceling him. I do understand why people are upset because nobody should be dressing up as the Menendez brothers. That’s just a fact. It’s gross. However I do think it was a lapse of judgement and he was stuck between a rock and a hard place with this. He should be held accountable but there are tactful ways to do that. He wasn’t the one who got them dressed lmao like let’s be real. It’s insane how quickly the whole world will flip on you.
Yes, thankyou.
Hate and cancel culture is not ok.
Chavez supporters, you’re safe in this corner. 🫶 if you are hating and cancelling him, I get your PoV but I challenge you to please please read this post.
Love always xx

I feel like everybody was waiting for the chance to cancel him and that does not sit right with me. He was literally at a Halloween party and ran into two people who dressed as the character he just got popular playing… While, I do think it was wrong for those people to dress up as the Menendez Brothers I don’t understand how this is Nicholas’ fault .
Ugh YES. I also believe people do this for attention / engagement and it’s so wrong. But it’s just a thought, what do I know, right? Ugh.
Hmm, his action towards accepting the pictures is something to be accountable for — he could have indeed said no to them.
Now, putting his other topics of hate on the rise — his “said attitudes” towards his past relationships, him not supporting the brothers as much as Cooper, him unfollowing his co-star Tabyanna (my head is exploding I don’t recall if there is more): Just remember that — people have different opinions, different perspectives and we don’t always have to agree or even understand them — sometimes they’re great choices and sometimes they are indeed, wrong. But hey, people grow and learn! — this part defends only the stated hate topics, not defending the recent activity (the pictures).
Again I do not agree with his actions in taking those pictures, not ONE BIT. But, respect, love and empathy is important in this life.
I said everything I had to say about this in this post… And I really think you should read and if you somehow agree, maybe share it.
This topic makes me extremely anxious. I don’t want to talk about it anymore loves. I accept messages but for the sake of my health I won’t speak as much anymore I am really tired.

I think what Nicholas did was never intended to be malicious and of course it was a lapse of judgement but I feel like if he would’ve told them no that also would’ve been a big deal.
I wonder how you came to my askbox I didn’t even post about this yet but I appreciate you for the kind words. The internet has been a nightmare the last few hours, my head hurts lol.
But yeah, I agree. And let’s be real, he’s someone who loves to make others happy — him saying no to someone who wants to take pics with him feels hard to picture to me. I really think he didn’t think it through when it happened and if he did, it was not with a bad intent, why would he put himself in that situation?
I actually ended up writing a lot so buckle up.
Trigger warning - abuse , mental health issues
I am sick of people finding anything they can to hate on celebrities and with it cancelling everyone who supports them. Like the Cooper prosthetic thing last week, too, for example.
I almost got hate on X for standing up to them, because I asked questions and tried to state my thoughts. The internet is — some sides of it are — cruel. People are cruel.
We can all learn without HATE. We don’t need to cancel someone for their mistakes. We can teach them, we can tell them, we can show them.
The costumes are NOT okay, but the cancel culture and hate isn’t okay either.
Can we talk about mental health for a minute?
Why aren’t the costumes ok? Because being victims of abuse is a real and traumatic experience and it’s not something you go on and dress up as. It’s traumatic for survivors! I believe people are doing it because they liked the actors and their performances and fail to thinking it through. I also believe some are mocking the brothers too but that’s another story and I don’t want to go there, they can rot in hell for all I know. Disgusting.
But, my topic here is, you know, on why abuse is a mental health issue — because it traumatizes people. And trauma can be generated in many forms.
ABUSE comes in ALL FORMS. Sexual, mental, emotional.
So the cancel culture are not far from being abusers. Why? Because they are also traumatizing the people! Now, I am not saying they are aware of what they’re doing — they use the media and just say what they think but we can do so RESPETFULLY! Out of topic kinda but important to mention: Often you see celebs going to psychologists mostly because of this media shit — and still they have to SMILE and keep on with a camera all their lives!!
Mind you that some people already have mental health issues without hate and cancel culture — imagine being put on the spotlight and getting that every week like Nicholas? Or anyone in similar positions, really! Please.
You defend the brothers because you defend victims of abuse, you stand up to the rights of victims who lived real trauma, so don’t bring trauma to others too.
No one has the right to traumatize anyone to make them learn. We all need to learn to respect everyone’s life timeline — what we understand now is less that we will understand in a few weeks, months or years and that’s ok. What we know now and what we will learn in the future has a huge gap. People learn. People grow.
Love always wins — empathy is key. And I rly hope people mature to this, to see that we can all learn from mistakes and be respectful.
I’m sending love to everyone who had to relive trauma because of these pictures and for this reason I will not share them.
Sorry for the long text. Hope it makes sense.
Much love xx
