I love this little lip-licking/head-turn/whatever thing that Fiyero does after telling Elphaba he sometimes runs people over on accident because he’s asleep.

Saying Fiyero is the male!Glinda is truly crazy to me because, I’m sorry:

Doesn’t Galinda have an immediate aversion to the green girl upon first meeting where Fiyero doesn’t?

Doesn’t Galinda immediately aid the ostracizing of Elphaba where Fiyero doesn’t?

Does Elphaba’s vulnerability change Galinda in the ways it does Fiyero? …yes it does and I’ll give you that one 😊

Isn’t Galinda’s first instinct in “helping” Elphie, to change her into a sort of version of Galinda herself and Fiyero insists that’s not necessary?

Isn’t Fiyero willing to take real action to aid an Animal that is being oppressed where Galinda would simply make an empty gesture?

Wouldn’t Fiyero abandon his entire way of life for Elphaba where Glinda would leave Elphaba out to dry to maintain her own comfortable life? (Sorry, that might be wording it harshly, but yk what I mean)

(Read the whole of both below statements before you get mad at me please 🙏: they’re both (all) flawed 🙃)

G(a)linda is attention-seeking, manipulative, and naive. She is able to cultivate positive reactions to get what she wants from people by cleverly making it seem like their own idea. She uses this ability to ever grow her own status, until she manages to finally spin it to something, that while still advantages for herself, also happens to run in the same direction of what her friend wanted. When we first meet her, she is a character that has a clear idea of who she is and what she wants in life. Only to meet this person that challenges those ideas and wants. She doesn’t know how to or is unable to or just refuses to move too far from those initial ideas quickly enough, until it’s too late.

On the other hand,

Fiyero is self-loathing, deceptive, and isolated. He is able to cultivate positive reactions from people by being exactly what they expect him to be, and selling it as who he really is. He uses this ability to coast through life, until he realizes he can use it to aid and protect his friend. He keeps the ruse up until the opportunity to abandon such masks, and run off with Elphaba, presents itself. When we first meet him, he is a character that has an idea of who he is supposed to be but doesn’t really know what he wants in life, only to meet this person that inspires new ideas and new wants. He isnt sure how to get these things exactly, which makes his progress a bit slow, but he is able to change before it’s too late.

They are not as perfect as they seem, and Elphaba does inspire them both to change (For Good 🤪) but they are NOT, and never were, the same.

Not people demonizing the “you don’t have to do that” line like he didn’t just let her know she doesn’t have to be Galinda to be pretty, likable, and worthy. Hello?

my favourite wicked headcanon is that, in the scene in act two when Glinda is like “you mean… all this time? The two of you? Behind my back?” She’s actually mainly talking to Elphie and is like “I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME” but fiyero is like “oh no she is obviously talking about me bc I’m more important than my gf”

also can we just talk about how when Elphaba is having her moment whne she’s like “I wish I could be beautiful for you” and fiyeros like “u r” AND THEN HES LIKE “nah man ur not ugly well you are but IF YOU LOOK AT IT A DIFFERENT WAY-“ LIKE BESTIE WTF

Zeke said “layers and layer to that girl.” In a sort of admiring way and sure it’s shipper brain but also, idk I think it says something. He’s always so intrigued by her. And at the same time the fact he reads the school new paper daily as a way to connect and specifically loves this vulnerable ask column off back — it just confirms to me that Zeke also has layers and layers. And in that way he and Tina could really connect if she just gave him a chance 💙🖤 …. Yeah totally shipper brain 😅

Reaction to Advice Things Are Ad-Nice Spoilers

Okay, I should have realized they wouldn't go there because that would probably been too much of a status quo change (though would it have really been though? Come on, if Disney/Pixar movies can do it then you can too you cowards XD!) but I thought Tina was getting her period for the first time. Turns out it was just a butt zit but I'm pretty sure the fakeout was intentional on their part. Poor form Louise, Tina and me are alike. You don't not mess with us when it comes to food, especially food we specifically asked to be saved! XD I was wondering how Tina would get to be part of an advice column when I read the description for the episode. I should have known it was specifically because she was at the right place at the wrong time (or right depending on the perspective) and Mr. Frond was just done with the whole thing. Unfortunately I should have seen it coming that no one wanted to give it a try which made me really sad for Tina. It also felt a bit real for me because I definitely had a few times when I tried to put myself out there to get feedback from others only to get mostly silence. I also felt so much cringe when Louise and Linda used Tina's journal to give her advice to answer. Like, it was so public and how do you expect Tina is going to feel when her private information is out and about?! It was so amusing Bob making it clear he was not supportive in anyway of what they did and was happy to be confirmed right in his stance. lol It all worked out it in the end though I suppose. Tammy why are you like this? As a giant Zekina shipper, I was very happy for the crumbs this episode! X3 Always happy to see Zeke to be the first one to support Tina after her family. Also when Zeke said Tina was full of surprises or something like that felt like to me was basically his way of saying that she just made him like her more than he already did. XD That last part is just crazy shipper brain though. Still always cute to see Zeke be so supportive of Tina even when he didn't know he was supporting her. XD

Can you give me a list of Uma and Harry Hook Headcanons?

Uma and Harry have known each other since they were kids. They've always had each other's backs as leaders on the Isle.

Harry is fiercely loyal to Uma and would do anything for her. He secretly admires her tough attitude and beauty.

Uma finds Harry's over-the-top mannerisms annoying sometimes but deep down enjoys his wild streak.

Harry often brings Uma treasures he's pilfered - shiny coins, pieces of eight, stolen knick knacks.

They bicker and argue loudly but their fights always end in laughter. This kind of playful banter is how they show affection.

Most villains on the Isle fear Harry's unpredictable ways - but Uma is one of the few who can rein him in when needed.

Uma gives Harry the courage to be himself unapologetically. He's never felt so seen or accepted by anyone else.

Harry still calls Uma "captain" even when it's just them alone. This small reminder of her leadership makes her heart flutter.
