“But I will take that hot chocolate, mate.”
“Would you like to share some hot chocolate with me? It’s keeping me rather warm and I thought maybe we could talk and you know, learn some things about each other. The day is perfect for that.”

“I’m sure we’ll be able to find something to do for the holidays, mate.”

“I, uh, don’t really have anything planned for the holidays. I finally found a decent job, so I’ll actually have food on the table this year instead of scrambling around. But if there’s a party or something going on, I’d like to go.”

It was finally the end of the night, and for Lumen, it had felt like a long one. Usually, he didn’t mind being at work; in fact, he preferred it. It was much easier than being home alone, staring at the wall and hoping t hat something would become of his life. At the club, he was useful- he was wanted.
He almost didnt want to leave. Instead, he found himself wandering the abandoned,glitter-duster halls, putting off the inevitable. He thought he was alone. And it was nice, only because of the nice memories that lay within the walls. Which is why, when he heard a voice, he jumped before looking behind him. Instead of seeing some sort of intruder, he saw one of the dancers... one of the few that he had actually stayed away from, asking him if he needed anything. “I’m not sure, mis. Maybe some company? I dont quite feel like walking home just yet.”
May I help you?
Jeliza was exhausted. She had a long night at work and she was not looking forward for the long and tiring walk home. In her dressing room, she fixed her own makeup so she didn’t look quite as bad. Groaning she slipped off the clothes she was wearing and put on her dress that she had arrived in. “Some nights are better than others,” she muttered to herself, almost to encourage herself. She sighed, slowly rolling off her tights and fastening her shoes. She she stood, she gave herself one more glance in the mirror, grinning at her good looks. Opening the door, she looked down the hall and blinked, seeing a person. The redheads lips slowly curled into a small grin as she took a few steps toward the figure. “Can I help you find something?”

“Yes, right now!” Lumen extends his hand, offering to lead the way. He didn’t take girls out to coffee much but there was a first time for everything, and he had a feeling about this one. “It sounds like you have some high hopes for me.”
“I’m just being honest.”
“Wow, okay! right now? Sure let’s do it” Emma knew for a fact she looked like a hot mess but she wasn’t going to say no to him, she wanted to be around him more. “ and you’re right, but let’s hope you don’t insult me. I do enjoy you.”

“You’re really too kind, Emma.” He watched her as she spoke, and couldn’t help taking her in. Her eyes were mesmerizing, but her lips smile was what had distracted him most.
