"A world in which fate is predestined for all, is hardly a world worth living. May we all shine in the darkest of hours, and light the way for those lost." This is a Roleplay Blog for Igls Unth. It is advised that at least the Warnings Page is read.

“fine fine♪ if you say so, now do you need medical attention or would you rather not?” well he guesses that she seems calmer again is a good thing, but he had an idea of what Ivlis would have done…
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】
“... Why him?” A rarity of its own, an occurrence that was not to often fulfilled. Yet, Siralos unconscious at the time could not speak of a task for her to firmly abide by. Temporary as it was, she had some freedom now.

“when it comes to either of us, they always want their beloved Mama, Ivlis” he would say as the other walked off, running a hand through his hair he then looks back to the angel “if you are frustrated come on have at me, I am a woooonderful punching baaaaag ♪♪♪”
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】
The trident now gone still felt hot on her throat, the threat still burned fresh in her mind’s eye. Had Satanick not showed himself, there is no telling how far Ivlis would have gone. Her wings shuddered at the thought and she brought a hand up to lightly touch the fresh wound, there was a sting that repelled it, that made her hand jerk away. She ‘stared’ down at her fingertips, blank just as before.
“... You are not the enemy. I have no quarrel with you.”

Just as she was eager for a fight, Ivlis watched the spear being formed with a grin. It’s been a while since he’s had to take down the featherball. “Flaming gasbag really prepares for everything doesn’t he? Hell if I mind-” He sidestepped with a turn to avoid the spear, not fond of what’d happen if he was stabbed with it, but his own trident flickers to life in his hands though shorter than usual. There was a reason for it of course. He made a swift move to try and catch the angel’s neck between the prongs to pin her up against the wall. “You say I’m an airhead, but you’re just as rash as I am! Why do you think the old man keeps you on a short leash?”
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】
A searing pain and a sharp cry. Both were her own and it had taken a moment for her to come to that realization; as well as how she had been forced to press closely to the wall behind her. To avoid both prongs and the space between that had caught her neck enough already. It was easy to forget that between the two, Ivlis had more experience fighting. She was aware of this and much more, but her tongue did not yield despite it all. “... Do not compare me to you. We were created side by side by our God, but there is no blood between us- only similarities in power. What you see as rash behavior is eagerness to erase what is wrong!”

“You just threw in that last part to dig into my skin didn’t you… Tough, I’m taking them back. Siralos is knocked out by the way, so yeah, right now you probably can’t even breathe because he’s not conscience to will it.”
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】 “I see... If that is the way, so be it. I will assume the role he gave me should this happen.” He invaded the home of the God, knocked him into an unconscious state, deliberately mocked her for upholding her duties. There was no God to tell her what must be done. There was no God to stop her from forming a familiar spear of supposed light. There was no God to stop her from unfurling her wings and rush the Flame Devil, ready to strike him down.

She came closer. It was nice but…why? They didn’t really want her to be there but here she was. Amber gaze is cast down and the child is drawing their knees up to their chest, hugging their arms around their legs.
“I ran away, that’s why…”
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】
“No. You did not run away,” Her long legs folded under her, to be more at ease and to rest her hands in her lap. Her voice did not waver in the slightest. It was in her nature to illuminate the truth after all.“Those that do not care what their actions may bring others, those that do not feel guilt or cry because of what they have done and who they miss... They are the ones that run away.” She corrected them, aware that their gaze had dropped out of an array of emotions that surprisingly made her chest ache with, what was it? Concern? Empathy? Sympathy? The angel didn’t no, nor question. “You only created distance because you need time away.”

She didn’t speak for the longest time and the child was a little worried for a moment that this person was either deaf and couldn’t hear them or mute and couldn’t speak. That’s what they thought before before her face twisted a little with a frown and then it was gone. Was she okay? Pointed ears twitch a little when she speaks and Licorice thinks she has a pretty voice.
A pretty voice for a pretty angel, and it makes them smile just a bit. Only a bit. They were still rather upset but maybe this lady was here to make them feel better? Who knows.
“…Ah,” They mumble softly and glance down for a moment, “..My name is Licorice.”
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】
The name, too, sounded familiar. Only this time it was because of news she heard when her lord gushed on about how Satanick created an offspring. She did not question why they were here, no, Ignls Unth pushed from the threshold and a few steps towards the demon. Careful, quiet steps. “Licorice. I understand,” Her legs bent as she knelt down to their height, “However... Do you know why you are here?”

“I see, good day to you as well Igls Unth, are… they at least stable again? if only partly?” he feels he has no right to ask this, or even know how they are, but the devil can not help himself, the words left him before he could stop them
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】
“Your child, after there was an attempt from the devil to retrieve them, only became more upset and worse when he left.” Igls Unth paused her report momentarily, though there was no sign of pity on her impassive expression, rather she had paused for the sake of not having to repeat herself. To allow the partially given message to sink in. Her arms, crossed behind her back and her stature still as always. If she ever expressed pity, it would be impossible for anyone to believe with how she carried herself. “However, they have calmed since. Not completely stable but to some degree, they have settled.”

Who was that standing there? Why was she standing there? The demon didn’t know and just blinked their tired amber eyes. Did she want something? What? A child isn’t a mind reader. How could they possibly know if she wanted something? A soft whimper is made, their hands reaching up to rub at wet eyes, another sniffle following.
“H…hello?” Yes, they’re going to try to talk to her, whoever she is.
【 ░▒۞▒░ 】
Silence. Nothingness. No reply in that moment came from Igls Unth, she remained still, a statue that glowed vibrantly with an impassive gaze towards Licorice. A duty given was a responsibility received, she mused, but perhaps in its essence though vague was taken too literally. Siralos never said she couldn’t strike a conversation with the young one, he had given a meager command of ‘Watch over them.’ to her. It didn’t benefit her to talk with the child, however. A reminder that made her frown, surely there had to be some good reason. The frown dawning her faded, yes, by talking to them perhaps it will help take their mind off their misfortune and keep them from acting out. “Good day,” Her voice rang with clarity and gentle command, ”I have been charged with the task to watch over you during your stay and until you and your family reach stability, where upon you will be reintroduced to them. My name is Igls Unth.”

That’s cute. You’re playin’ games with me.

No, I was genuinely asking. Are you’re overthinking because of your high from an exhilarating thread you had detailing one of your preferred aspects of writing?

It was hard to not be heard when their voice is octaves higher than it needed to be as they wailed. They didn’t want to be heard and yet their voice betrayed them as they cried. Wiping tears from their eyes that just dribbled back down their cheeks from the way Licorice was upset. They wanted to stop but things just don’t come that easily do they?
But their breath hitches, catching in their throat when someone was sensed, their puffy red eyes blinking away tears to try and look at who ever was there.
【 ░▒۞▒ ░】
This child, whoever they were, vaguely reminded her of someone she long ago knew. The curved horns served as a reminder to red ones, just as the amber orbs that were difficult to see held a resemblance as well. Nothing more, nothing less. An obtuse comparison irrelevant to her task, but if the demon held any candle to who they hold similarities to then perhaps caution would be needed. Her wings unfurled inch by inch, fragments of light that glimmered in golds littered the floor as the feathered masses tucked neatly against her back, a slight hum from her- satisfied with what was collected. Through her thoughts and astute observation, she sized up what may be and stayed standing in the threshold, unmoving and unyielding despite her soft outer appearance.

Also, I’m online. I apologize for the abruptness, however, the situation called for a response before an announcement.
