My friend girlboyheaven2000 on Instagram has a kamukomahina dragon au and I really wanted to make a rough design for Hajime. It’s just for fun!!

He’s royalty in a hot, rainy, forested kingdom of other dragons. I decided to base his outfit on both male and female traditional Thai costume. (If it’s not accurate I’m sorry).

Asian dragons don’t usually have wings but I wanted to at least give him some decorative wings to communicate that he CAN fly.

what would Teruteru be like in the Deity AU?

This is actually a pretty interesting segue into the way I’ve been debating on whether to include other characters in deity au.

It’d be interesting if a character like Teruteru was, like, a deity of food and cooking. Like, inspiring humans to try new things. Maybe that’s how humans discovered ridiculous things like popcorn, edible mushrooms, cheese, fermentation, etc.

It gets confusing because previously everything fell under the domain of “earth” and “sky” in my perception of the au. Earth is animals and plants and water, sky is air which feeds the fire, so cooking is still kinda under those.

But then again it’d be so cool to have Gundham be a deity of animals, Gonta as a deity of bugs, etc.

Or even deities of CONCEPTS. Like Kokichi as a deity of mischief, Kyoko as intelligence and reason, Makoto as luck.

And deities that are born from humanity. Like Kazuichi as a deity of mechanics.

TLDR: It’s all very confusing and I haven’t been able to really consolidate everything into a neat little package

I don’t know if this makes even a little bit of sense with the timeline but I don’t care. Because it’s adorable. And the timeline is a pile of silly string.

Redesign of Kiko Hinata!

Long time Lumi followers will know Kiko, but she’s got a couple changes here. She’s got a personality and mannerisms similar to Izuru, since she idolized them growing up.

Growing up in an apocalyptic setting kinda messed with her development...but her family did truly love her.

Deity AU boys in the wintertime!!

Hajime’s appearance changes with the seasons, but Nagito stays constant due to the steady conditions of the sky. This however has the side effect of making him slightly sensitive to extremes. Hence the impromptu cloud scarf and cocoon.

I had a TON of fun with this one! I don’t really mind her canon design, I just don’t think it portrays her as a gamer. I wouldn’t really be able to guess her talent from her outfit at all.

Worldbuilding stuff for the angel/demon AU thing. So here’s Nagito and Hajime as kids! Nagito was a curious lil guy who had zero concept of boundaries and Hajime was a tiny spitfire who’d punch anyone who looked him the wrong way so I can’t imagine it would have gone well if they’d met as littles.

Whoops I forgot to put this here. Started getting into Your Turn to Die and I couldn’t decide which was my favorite character so I just drew all my favs instead.

THE DEITY BOYS ARE BACK, BABY!!!

I decided to give them both a redesign. Hajime didn’t change as much, but I added in some deer elements to give him more of a nature spirit vibe. (I also built his horns around the image on his tie)

Nagito changed a lot more, as I tried to integrate a little bit more of his canon design language, such as the hoodie. Also gave his outfit a bit more Japanese influence with the obi and kimono-adjacent outfit.

Both of them have representations of the other on them. Nagito: sunflower anklet. Hajime: small jar of clouds.

The Mario series is still number one in my heart. As is Luigi. I love him. The little green dude is Prince Peasley my fav obscure Mario RPG dude. For anyone who actually knows the RPGs, they’re in Mushrise Park and Wakeport because I at one point was writing a fic set there.
