Helloo

I’m popping in to drop more of Tamlin and Lily.

I have been wanting to write a fic abt them, nothing to serious (I’m not wise enough for politics and writing a complex story- especially if it’s not an original world of my own).. BUT, WHEN I FUCKING SAY IVE REWRITTEN, oops, - rewritten the singular starter chapter a million times I MEAN IT.

I strived for 2000 per chapter, but like.. No? I did write 2k per chapter for another story (not uploaded) but Tamlin literally has nothing to do. After multiple rewrites, I have one started I’m proud of, it’s currently only 800 words, so yay

Anyways, context for the art: it’s suppose to be a future moment in the story, a moment of fun; I intended to draw butterflies and shit but,, no. They made chalk and colored, Tamlin did some magic and Lily is having a blast.

ALSO, If he looks too much like Flynn Rider, that’s I struggled with figuring out what to draw for his clothes, I always have, but then I saw a tangled edit and used him as a ref, but I think I referenced to hard..

(Also, tried out antlers and loved it!)

I imagine that his brothers got all his moms genes and Tamlins the one who looks most like papa spring, which feels kinda sad :(.

Also, I don’t know if anyone might remember this or me, but I said I’d write a fanfic abt Tamlin and Lily (A Oc of mine who’s Andras’s daughter), and I don’t know if this design of her will be relevant to my fic bc she’s… ya know, dead. Additionally, It’s a busy time rn, I’ve started writing it, but time is slim rn. I had SO MUCH written, but then I reread it in the morning and threw it in the garbage cuz… no.

Hello hellooo, back to forcing Tamlin to be a dad.. “forcing” lol

I’m here to drop off a bit of art.. if you don’t mind me.

Anyways, I wanna write a fic, as now I have an ao3 account.. I might do short drabbles (like under 2000 words) and see how I feel about it. The lore of acotar is such a blank slate from ass writing so I might fill things in a bit, but that might affect some specific canon shit.

My pretty pookie bear Tamlinn — this is my late contribution to Tamlin week haha.. ofc I had artblock the whole weeks ahead and during.

Guess who’s artstyle is inconsistent! It’s me in case that wasn’t obvious.

For those who it’d ring a bell, I’m the one whose forcing Tamlin to be a dad to Andras’s daughter. I swear I had a concept for it - Lily (the name decided for Andras’s daughter) is making Tamlin wear the pretty jewels she scavenged for wandering the court.

I also got an Ao3 account now so I might upload things there soon..

Here they are again.. (Tamlin and Andras’s daughter). Also, I did not draw the background, too cool for that apparently.

I was gonna write a fic about them, but I only got 700 words in b4 I went fuck that. I probably will write snippets.

But yeah, some context is that Lily was in trouble with some monster and was gonna die but he saved her and stuff. His beautiful hair got diced though (;-;)👍. And then after, they go and sit on a tree, where they hear nature and they realize spring came to life again. Even though this, they didn’t get working on fixing the spring court till Mari (another Oc I had in mind of adding to the story) smacked them into shape. (She’s a sassy wine aunt done correctly. She doesn’t have a design though, so maybe a diva wine grandma…?]

What should her name be? I’m thinking abt writing something abt them but I dunno what to name her. (My writing is better than my drawings I swear (but don’t))

I was thinking ‘Lily Valli (unimportant last name)’ for Lily of the Valley(it’s a flower), but I dunno if it fits her..

Oml. I have been utterly PLAGUED by this idea and it has not left my head.

What if Andras had a daughter? And she’s been just,, there, in the ruined Spring court. She’s sneaky af, so she’s managed to survive. And, this could be because I watched Arcane, and have been obsessed with The Last Of Us recently, But like.. Grumpy, broken Tamlin feels obligated to take care of her. Even though she’s evidently able to and he’s obviously the one who needs some caring. Also, when I say daughter, I mean like.. 10 years old. It’s not a romance thing, that’s the last thing Tamlin needs.

He’s obviously an asshole to her at the start, like ‘get out of here’ and ‘You shouldn’t be here’. Not only does he not want her there bc he’s brooding, but also because he feels deep guilt for Andras’s death. But she’s very mature and educated on the matters of Amarantha and a bit of Prythian (Andras and her mom kept her educated) and for the most part it doesn’t bother her, though this doesn’t stop her from being hella bitter towards Feyre.

But like.. Tamlin grows soft for her. They hang out in silence, sometimes she reads him poetry (I imagine she has a stammer), and he plays the fiddle for her. Eventually they just start doing stuff together, like planting flowers (they replant roses in memory of Tam’s mother). He teaches her how to fight as well, as well as teaches her how to use her abilities (if she has any, that is).

I also like to imagine that while Tamlin is protecting her, she had also made Tamlin not want to off himself, and take better care of himself (a thirty minute walk every day!).

It’s late for me rn, I’m probably gonna revise this later, as it’s all over the place, but ye.

(I image the gold hoops in her hair were Tamlin’s mothers, at least the girl would appreciate them!)
