Trump has signed an executive order that will destroy the U.S.'s library system.

I can't emphasize how important libraries are. It's not just providing access to information - libraries are community and resource hubs.
This might not be as dramatic as a book burning - but it's worse (books are just paper - libraries are the institutions that allow people to access that information). Treat this like the threat it is!

Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.

there needs to be WAY more love for shara ishvalda. the mhw devs went OFF with that design and all the little easter eggs and fourth wall stuff. i love the almost lotus flower feeling of shara, not only the "blooming" after all the rocks break off but how the first phase afterwards is eyes closed. then when shara is getting desperate, its eyes open and it "awakens"

so the house of representatives just passed a bill that will now move to the senate to BAN tik tok completely in the united states and they are expected to argue that “national security risks” outweigh the freedom of speech and first amendment rights. biden has already said that if it gets to him, he will sign it. whether or not you use the app…….this is something to be worried about
