“Er… Whoops. Sorry, lil buddy. Guess your message got lost in all action. Seein’ as things are pretty much quiet for me now that everything’s taken care of, hope you don’t mind the late response.

"You asked if the King is still at the castle? Well, unless he secretly dusted, he should still be. Though I’ll admit, compared t'other timelines, this monarchy is more so lead by a matriarch than a patriarch, if you get what I mean. I’m not sayin’ he does nothing, but in any body of people, there’s only one real boss.

"That’s why I try t'follow any work the Queen makes public. A citizen should know of that who they are supposed to be lead by, who is supposed to have their best interests at heart.

"Needless t'say, I got a newspaper subscription.

“Sometimes the paper just won’t do it.  Like now.  Our own lil Frisk finally made the television news earlier t’day.  Prinx Frisk is officially a public figure.”

Hey frisk. The menu is really handy isn't it? You get to see your stars like your DEF and gold. It's kinda like the embodiment of your soul showing you.

What do you want to go as for Halloween? Also i bet papyrus already has his costume planned out huh. Sans... I doubt he'll dress up. If anything he'll go as himself and say "yeah, I'm a skeleton for Halloween. Can i get some candy now" also has he made any jokes for the Holliday?

I used my bat costume again because I really like it!

Papyrus dressed up as a prince.

And Sans said he would stay home and hand out candy.

Of course, we’re pretty much the only people who do anything for Halloween here so only Monster Kid showed up…

Sorry Ivy! I didn't see your reply! I've been busy because it's October now and that means it's gonna be Halloween!! My favorite holiday!!! But, um, basically the gifts were better than the memories for Christmas, where I used to live. But I have good memories for Christmas now! So, I think I know what you mean by the memories being better than the gifts.

“It’s all right!  Things happen, y’know?  People get busy.  Technology is weird.  Mortal beings ain’t perfect.  Glad you’ve been busy with one of your favorite things though.  And glad you’ve got some good memories now of Christmas!

Sans says Halloween down here basically started because some monsters found out about human Halloween and thought it would be fun to dress up and share candy...

Since monsters don’t really have much to celebrate down here, they pretty much take any chance they can get to do something fun, he said.

Except a lot of people don’t really bother because it’s a human holiday, I guess...

A lot of people celebrate Christmas, though? But maybe that’s just because it’s so similar to what they were already doing here...

And I guess King Asgore really likes Christmas, so that probably has something to do with it, too.

And the only time I ever heard of Samhain was when Caddy mentioned it, so I dunno if it doesn’t exist here or if people just don’t celebrate it very much.
