Random thought about Obey Me! Nightbringer: I don't like how casually the characters chat with us through text. Obey Me! Nightbringer is supposed to be about the character's pasts, set after the celestial war. They're supposed to feel great anger, sadness, and depression. So seeing Satan rate cat poses and send us pictures when he's supposed to feel anger and resent his very existence feels weird. It's not the Obey Me! where MC was kidnapped in the devildom for the exchange program, where they are a beloved human. It feels like I'm seeing the texts they send later in Obey Me! Shall we Date, where they get closer to MC and they have had more time to cope with what happened during the war? Receiving those texts from Satan in the other game wouldn't be surprising, because we know his huge love for cats and how he is actually quite calm in his day-to-day life. But in Nightbringer? It feels too weird. Too casual. We don't know him that much yet, so why would he be that vulnerable? And this goes for every character and side character too.

I've experimented a lot for this one and had a lot of fun. I wanted to mix semi-realism, which is my usual style, with a more anime style. I also wanted to try out more dramatic lighting. And I actually gave her a name! It's Hana, she has no backstory yet but I really like her lol.

I'll be selling prints of this drawing in my shop very soon, I'll make an announcement when it opens!

Introduction

Hi Tumblr! I’m Lyfty, a french digital artist. You can call me Ly, it’s shorter and easier to remember lol. I’m also 18, and I have a perfect and absolutely mesmerizing cat.

I decided to focus a bit more on Tumblr since I’ve kind of left Twitter because of what it’s becoming (thank you dear Elon for destroying what was already a minefield). I wanted a platform where I could find a community and I felt like Tumblr may be the best for that purpose. 

I mostly draw pretty women and cats. I love drawing my OCs and expanding their own stories and universe, but I also draw fanart from time to time. I also am in the process of opening my stationnery shop on etsy (etsy.com/shop/LyftyStudio if you’re interested!)

"Your heart is mine ~" The character is Akemi, my succubus OC. First time I'm trying this style and semi-realistic chibis. I really enjoyed it ! I spent so long on the hair, and in the end, I deleted everything to retry and speedran it, for it to look better than my first 2 hours trial.

Pretty cat girl with yellow flowers 🌼 I'm very proud of this drawing, I started it on paper and ended up finishing it on digital, it was so fun! I did a grayscale to color once again, I think I improved a lot since the last time I tried it with my Saber fanart months ago!
