Never, rarely, sometimes, always. (2020)

In her recent feature, director Eliza Hitman explores the emotional weight that comes with being a teenage girl in a world where men get to do whatever they please. As Autumn finds herself pregnant, she embarcs on a trip to New York with her cousin to get an abortion. Through this process, Autumn is forced to re live the trauma of her past relationships with abusive men. From her father to her boss and a random kid they met on a bus, every man in the movie walks around as entitled as one can be. Through all of this, her cousin gives her an unspoken support that is exactly what Autumn needs. “I didn’t want the audience to judge or have a decision about this person and this pregnancy. It’s no one’s business but her’s”, remarked Hitman.
