1) was mapping out light and shadows don't know if it worked... so opinions are great

Also drew a few bees a couple of days ago.

The blue be is a Blue Orchard Mason Bee. Weird that bees can be yellow and blue.

Fun fact: bees can't see the color red and they can see a purple that the human eye can't.

Tardigrade, also known as water bears or moss piglets.

Been awhile since I uploaded.

Didn't know how to approach this for a while and just not motivated. Anyway Tardigrades have some creepy fingers and not super proud of the composition so I made a cute tardigrade with a sombrero as well.

I decided dots instead of hatch/ crosshatch caused it appeared to look more like hair. And on the second slide [was the 1st pass], the pose was dynamic but structure was odd so I changed it (liking the 2nd drawing a little more, dots bother me tho -__-). Hector's Dolphins have three values to their skin, wasn't sure how to approach it but still fun

I'm still not good at calligraphy and still don't have an "art style". This was relaxing to say the least, not horribly proud of it though. Hope you have a wonderful day!

We’re only finding out recently that a lot of animals have colors and patterns that we cannot see because they’re outside of our visual range. It calls to attention how much of the world we can’t experience because our senses are limited. When we shine UV lights on them, they glow pink or blue, but these are the colors that we CAN see…. they could be a bunch of different colors, which we SEE as all pink. It’s also interesting to consider that most of these animals are not aware of having glowing patches on their bodies…. isn’t it also possible that we have skin or hair patterns that were not aware of? . . (There is actually some research out there to support the idea that our own skin fluoresces as well and that there are gender differences in the pattern and glow.)
