quick material studies done in Procreate

Render material studies based on a course in CGMA. 🔮✨ I wanted to really push the render ability of crystals in these. Along with something shiny. The small ball is rose quartz, the bigger one is my favorite gemstone called hypersthene, and then.. You know.. Pineapple. :'D 🍍

This other study I feel I wasn't able to totally express well, but it's wood material studies. I can't remember what wood reference I used for this one.

I also had a few black and white value studies to understand core shadows and speculative lighting. Material studies are fun when you know sorta what you are doing. :'''D So don't feel discouraged if you are new. This stuff can be super hard!

Another inktober-piece: 'Warforged'! I was very annoyed with this theme before deciding to make a material-study out of it. I rarely shaded stuff apart from my comics, so I really need the practice.
