there is this audio currently trending on tikrok that originated from a yellowjackets edit that included the line where lottie says "i feel it so deeply in my bones" and it transformed into a trend where people would list things they like (disregarding the whole purpose of what lottie was conveying in that scene) and a good amount of people would add "lottie matthews summer!!" to the list, which again disregards her character and only perceiving her as a concept and aesthetic rather than focusing on what she actually went through in her life (as a child, in the wilderness and even the aftermath) so i was just complaining about how people misconstrued the line and specifically used "lottie matthews summer" on it cause in my opinion it seemed really ignorant, but i can see how someone might see it as a non issue but i just wanted to get it off my chest, hence the tumblr post. if you have any further questions i'd be more than happy to answer them!

it's baffling how people are so quick to come scrutinising madeleine brewer for the way she looks yet people call middle aged men with a receeded hairline, stunted growth and a lead paint stare attractive. they're so quick to defend people like johnny depp (an old and decrepit abuser) and people like him, yet a woman just exists and you all tear her apart and compare her to rumplestiltskin from shrek? you are not a feminist if this is where your "morals" lie. people are so quick to get in on this hate campaign and then complain about nobody caring for women's rights anymore, because if you can tear down a woman for how she looks and sympathise for men who shouldn't have even been put on a platform, then you are the problem
