I made myself a traveler's notebook cover and some notebooks. I am using one of them for hand-lettering.

My Study Box:
I went to parent’s for Christmas (obviously) and I had to study, so I reunited the writing essentials and put them all in an egg’s box (I removed the part that held the eggs). It was a perfect fit for all this!
It contains:
-  Uni Lakubo Fine 0.7 Ballpoint Pen in Blue and in Red
-  BiC Cristal Medium Ballpoint Pen in Black
- Staedler’s HB Pencil as well as a 0.5 Mechanical Pencil
- Faber-Castell eraser
- Rotring 0.5 HB Leads
- Staple’s Loose-Leaf Rings
- Post it’s (white-label from the grocery store and from Tiger)
- Highlighters (from Tiger)
- Colored fine felt-tip pens (from Lidl)
- Bateries + TI-nSpire Calculator
You can notice from this that I almost don’t write with white-label products (execept the pens from Lidl, used just for titles and graphics) and there’s a reason for that. I am very particular with what instruments I write with.
The fine tip of the blue pen (the one I use for main text) helps my hand-lettering to look more clean and neat.
As I took some drawing as well as technical drawing classes, I became particular with pencils too. It is important that they are smooth but not too soft, comfortable to write with and their tips are resistant (no more pencil-sharpener nonsense - the tip doesn’t fall out). It is important too that your pencil sharpener is good as well and it helps when it has a deposit, so that you don’t become too lazy to sharpen your pencil.
I have also tried white-label leads for my mechanical pencil: it was a disaster! They kept breaking with every two words that I wrote. I once had to end a study session earlier than I thought because, among other things, the damned lead kept breaking and it was annoying me past my limits.
Erasers come in here too: colored erasers - they tend to stain your paper; old erasers (YES, THAT’S A BAD THING) - are too stiff and can stain your paper or tear it; white-label - too many shavings and get old faster.
That’s it for today, my writing instrument tips.

Do you really want JUST theoretical classes?
When I am studying, sometimes I think: “I wish I had more theoretical classes; if I didn’t know something, I just had to go read about it.”
When I actually have a theoritical class: “Oh my! I have no idea what I am doing! How am I supposed to fit all this in my head??”

I’m quite happy about this...
Today I nursed cold, yet I didn’t miss any class, and got to study about 4h, which is pretty rare. I got a productivity spike at 7pm (what??) and it hasn’t ended (it’s 10.30pm). I am just going to study 15 more minutes and then be done with it.
Unfortunatly, I didn’t go to the gym (I couldn’t breathe properly) but we can’t have it all and I am pretty satisfied with myself.

During my Group Project for Urban Planning, we stumbled upon two gorgeous Viewpoints. They’re a 20 minute walk from my house and I didn’t even know they existed.

15th November, An Update
This week I didn’t feel great: I was sad, had no motivation and was stressed. It was my older sister’s brithday and I couldn’t go to my parents’ to celebrate with them and this weekend I was also stuck in Lisbon: I have a group project due tomorrow at 16h30 and I want to finish it today.
I want this week to be better so I started the day with planning healthy meals, I went for a walk (not only for the sake of walking but also to take some pictures of my Project’s Location) and did some streches. I am planning to go to the gym at least three times this week, four if I don’t go to my parents’ on Thursday.
And that’s it.
I am aiming for a better, happier week! I hope you are, too.

Like she says, Education is fundamental to get people to be more tolerant and that is what we need to live peacefully and for all the cultures that flavour this world to coexist and learn from eachother
If any of you are from Paris, I hope you are safe and that all of your friends and family are safe as well. We are all mourning for what happened last night - besides the innocent lives that were lost, humanity stepped back once again from the path of kindness and tolerance that I truly believe we all have the power to achieve. This is why I believe so strongly in education, just like Malala always defended. If we had a broader view of humankind, understanding the cultural, religious and individual characteristics that makes us all different individuals, we could transform the world into a better place.

Eating on the go  1#Fruit ALWAYS!
I regularly think that the studyblrs that I follow  don't foccus on food and it's pretty important: "Healthy body, healthy mind" is a true concept so I will share some of the meals that I make to eat at school (because I absolutely do not trust cafeteria's food). I try to eat healthy, although I am not a big example on that: I am not a huge fan of veggies (but I am trying hard to change that).
It's Autumn, which means that I am not going to mention Summer fruits. It is important that the fruit that you're eating is in season or it will taste bland (like kiwis for most of the year).
Good fuit to eat on the go must not oxidize when it is prepared: like a peeled apple.
APPLE & PEAR - Baked apple/pear is a good choice, you can do it really fast on the microwave, 2-3min (or make a batch in the oven). Dehydrated apple/pear is heavenly as well, but it is much more expensive (I dehydrate mine at my parent's, but it can be bought). Not a good ideia to peel or slice at home, it will be spoilt when you get to eating it.
POMEGRENATE - On Sunday, at the end of the day I sit watching a series or a movie and start separating the seeds from the skin. I do this to three or four pomegrenates and keep them in the fridge. When it is needed I just take the amount that I want to a bowl and that's it, no effort in the moment.
KIWII - It doesn't oxidize much, so I peel them and slice them. You can do it on the night before consumption.
BANANA - Pretty linear this one.
GRAPES - Pretty linear as well. Just don't forget to wash them. There are seedless varieties which I love.
MANDARIN - Pretty linear, too. You can take them already peeled or peel them on the moment, just remember, if you do, everyone is going to know that you are eating a mandarim and the smell will linger everyday in your hands.
