ello dead skaniacs, it's macist again. got a fresh new character sprite redesign to show you lot. here's mr kjirt van der rjin, a short but stern cape fox whose combined brains and brawn serves to keep the main cast from danger many times. here's his (current) main sprite v

the dev grind has been going well in spite of my life being much more hectic than expected recently so public release will likely be pushed back to mid to late august but proofreading is still open for applicants so lmk if that'd interest you. peace x

ello people of tumblr, this page will serve as a place to dump progress updates for Dead Sky, a visual novel set in the Californian desert in 2002. to start off, I'll announce a new character: Carlos Garcia, a young waiter whose relation to the main cast has faltered since graduating high school.

this is his first sprite, as drawn by @macistefx ^

and here is how he appears in game.

So far, approximately 45 minutes of read time has been written, scripted, illustrated and soundtracked. the aim is to have 1 and a half hours done for each route by the public release on july 20th.
