i just remembered I had this WIP and decided to finish it

I started it directly after reading the flashback when Lotus Pier gets invaded and Madam Yu forces the boys to leave. Just. The whole Jiang family was really compelling- but what a messy, complex and fragile dynamic they all had (this is including WWX since Jiang Fengman made him the crux of all their strife)

Anyways. I actually really liked Madam Yu. She didn’t do a good job processing her emotions, and I wouldn’t call her a good mom. But she cared deeply and I think that made her interesting
