Many people in my environnement still feel anxious, worried or simply not sure about going out - and they prefer to continue to work from home. Although I understand, I truly encourage you to give your office a try. I believe that when you are in the spiral of your home’s safety, unreasonable fear increases. As soon as I started going out regularly and coming back to the office, I realized how much I was missing before and thought that I wish I had started doing it earlier. It is absolutely possible to go back to an almost normal life and yet feel safe when you take the necessary precautions. And it does make a difference. Feels good to be (phisycally) back at work, after all those virtual events done from my living room! Exactly two years ago, @teelmo (from @Yle back then), @bbcnews and I presented some of the findings of our launch of a pilot community of EBU Data Journalists to the participants of the News Technology Seminar at CERN. Today the community is up and running, highly engaged and working on collab projects led by @teelmo himself, who is now with us in @ebu_hq. One out of three Internet users is a child. Nowadays, children discover Internet at earlier and earlier stages, and they spend more and more hours online. But while the Internet provides a great deal of options for their learning, creativity and entertainment, it also opens up many risks: cyberbullying, sharing personal data, phishing, or cyber predators are just a few. The discussions, co-hosted by our Member RTS - Radio Télévision Suisse, will be recorded, transcribed and translated into a report to be presented later on to relevant Political and Academic Institutions in Switzerland.
