A bit about me:
I like to go by Lena. I am 25 and use she/her pronouns.
It sounds silly, but every birthday I pick something new to try my hand at for a year. At 25 I decided to give writing a try. I have rp'd for a while and I liked the idea of going deeper into a story.
I admit that I am definitely insecure about my writing, which is why you see just the Companion post and the rewrite. I'm using it as a way to figure out my style of writing.
I absolutely love the comments or reposts people have left for me and it is definitely encouraging as I move onto the second half of my year long writing journey. I enjoy whump, but I'm a sucker for a soft ending.
I work a desk job that gives me a relatively good amount of freedom to work on other things.
I really enjoyed fantasy settings and I would be happy to make more friends who would be interested in RPing with me 馃グ

Warnings: mentions of abuse, and shock collars.
Samaria was too hungover to deal with this. She was staring at the large dog who was at least eating. The idiot tried to stand, but fell back down.
"Just lay down. You're tipsy. Hell you might even be drunk for all I know." Samaria couldn't even tell if it was a boy or girl beneath all that fur.
"Let me get some more crackers." And another ibuprofen for her growing headache. She rooted around in her kitchen for crackers, water bottles and ibuprofen. As she came back into her room she dropped the water bottle and crackers in surprise. "Shit."
Curled up on the tile near her door was a naked woman. She was heaving, and somehow didn't throw up. But it was her appearance that made Samaria pause. The girl was covered in cuts, bruises, and a suspicious looking scar on her hip. The companion whimpered as she came closer.
"It's okay baby. Here. Drink water and eat the crackers. It'll help." She set the items down but the girl seemed out of it. She was mumbling and whining.
"Who did this to you?" Samaria whispered as she carefully reached for her. "Who hurt you?"
The drunk companion only mumbled and closed her eyes.
"What's your name? Who hurt you?" Samaria tried to question the girl, periodically helping her sip from the water.
+++
Mutt wasn't entirely sure where she was or who she was with. The water felt good on her throat.
The woman spoke softly but kept asking questions. Questions she couldn't answer. Her brain was fuzzy and she felt sick.
"Who hurt you baby? You can tell me."
Mutt whined. "Fighting." She mumbled out, and immediately regretted it when her collar shocked her. She yelped and curled into a ball, immediately grabbing the empty bowl near her to throw up.
The woman's hands were holding her hair, rubbing her back, somehow putting water in her mouth. This felt good. Then it felt wrong. She was a mutt. A stupid bitch that didn't deserve anything good. Her Master made sure she had learned that. All she was good for was fighting, bleeding, and being a punching bag for her Master.
The woman covered her with a blanket and shut the lights off, saying something about sleep. That sounded good. She'd sleep and then she'd run away from this woman. Her Master wouldn't be happy with her if he found her here.

things i am learning now that i鈥檓 finally actually watching avatar the last air bender part one:
1) not everyone is a bender 2) it does appear to be inherent to some extent, because katara seems to be partially self-taught 3) however, there is a learning element, because you can improve on your skills and the avatar has to learn how to master all four elements where i thought aang just had inherent skill 4) the element of the bender seems to always match the element of the tribe they鈥檙e in, which makes sense if they are taught by their tribe but raises some questions if it鈥檚 inherent. is bending ability passed genetically? what happens if two benders of different elements have a kid? i can鈥檛 google this because i don鈥檛 want anymore spoilers than i already have 5) uncle iroh is prince zuko鈥檚 uncle?????????? i thought he was like an earth bender who owned a tea shop this entire fucking time how did i go into this series knowing almost everything but THAT

"Master I don't think this is a good idea." Axel frowned as he set down the remaining pot of spiked holiday drink.聽
Jason shrugged him off. "Oh relax Axel. They won't drink it and now Samaria won't be sad that she missed a night."聽
His master slipped on the snow and Axel reached for him. "Why don't we get you home. You've had too much to drink." He chuckled.聽
Samaria was asleep in her bed, so Axel shut the door and took his master home.聽
++++
Mutt could smell the hot spiced drink from across the courtyard. Not wanting to be caught, she waited till she was sure there was no one there.聽
She wiggled out of her cage and ran to the pot, immediately starting to lap up the cold drink before it froze. Something tasted off about it, but she liked how it warmed her up from the inside. The woman must have added something new to it.
She drank for a bit before she went back to her cage. The warm burning feeling in her throat felt good.聽
The next morning Mutt felt a little woozy. She figured it was because she hadn't really eaten much. She lumbered back over to the pot, and noticed it hadn't frozen. Mutt eagerly lapped at it, but yelped when a loud voice interrupted her.聽
"Stop that!"聽
++++
Samaria woke up and groaned. Her mouth was dry and she rubbed her eyes. "That's the last time I let him spike anything." She went to the bathroom and then to the kitchen.聽
Axel was sweet enough to leave her a glass of water and an aspirin. She thankfully took it and chugged the water.聽
Once she felt like she wasn't going to throw up, Samaria put her glass away. "Where's the pot...?" She muttered as she looked around her apartment. There was movement in the corner of her eye and she noticed something big and fluffy out of the window.聽
Samaria opened her door to see a very large dog drinking from her pot. The pot of wassail that was spiked with whiskey.聽
"Stop that!" She shouted, clapping her hands to get the massive animal away from the drink. The thing yelped and looked at her, ears back and tail down. It tried to run off, but was clearly affected by the alcohol.聽
"God damn it Jason." Samaria groaned as she quickly pulled on shoes and her coat to chase after the dog. She followed the stumbling dog, now more certain it was a companion given how big it was.聽
Eventually the dog cornered itself, and she sighed. "Hey pup. Don't feel good huh?" The poor thing whimpered and gagged. Samaria prayed she wouldn't throw up from the sound. "I know. Jason is an idiot for putting that out." She spoke softly. "Come on baby. Why don't we get you some water and you can sleep the alcohol off?"聽
She carefully reached for the companions collar, and somehow managed to guide them both back into the apartment.聽
Once there was a towel down on the floor, the pup laid on it. Samaria got her a bowl of water and tried to figure out what to do. "Let's get you some crackers. That'll help your stomach."

Mutt was miserable. The first night it snowed so much that there were several inches of it on her cage. The cold seeped into her cage and she could hardly sleep.
Her Master only left her a pack of water bottles, a box of granola bars, and a pack of jerky. There was no way this was going to be enough food. The thought of eating out of the trash made her stomach turn.
She shifted to try and keep warm, her thick fur more suited for the snow then her skin. She ate one granola bar, and ventured out into the snow to find somewhere to use the bathroom.
As she came back she sniffed the air. There was something warm and sweet. Following the scent she found a cup with hot liquid in it. Next to it was a plate of fruit and nuts. She couldn't believe her luck!
Devouring the food, her tail wagged. She lapped up the warm liquid next and whined when it was empty. Happy from her unexpected meal, Mutt went back to her cage to sleep.
+++++
Three days of peace and quiet had been utter bliss for Samaria. She got plenty of work done, wanting to be able to relax the rest of her break. She was pleased to see that the animals were eating her offerings, but thought it was odd. In the last few years she's done this, the plate and cup were never licked clean.
"Okay. Enjoy the meal." Samaria said as she placed down a fresh plate of fruit and nuts. She looked at the prints in the snow and noticed some large paw prints. "Ah, you must be the one eating all my offerings." She pulled out her phone and took a picture of the print to see if she could figure out what animal it was.
Samaria called Jason and slid back into her apartment. "Hey, what time for tonight?"
"Axel and I will swing by around seven. I figured we could watch a Christmas movie and spike that drink you make."
"It's called wassail. It normally already has alcohol in it, but I didn't spike mine this year."
"Then I'm definitely bringing the whiskey and we can spike it."
Samaria laughed. "Alright. I'll see you at seven then."
+++
The two of them laughed loudly at some stupid bit in the movie they were watching. They were both tipsy, having drunk half of the wassil already.
Axel had gently tried to steer his master and his friend away from the whiskey. He gave them both water and cleaned up. "I'll be back Master." He went to take the trash out. As he came back he frowned. "Hello?" He could smell something odd. A scent that was familiar yet off. He inched towards the large package near the other door, but something told him to stop. Axel shivered in the cold wind and he decided to head back inside.

Happy Holidays for everyone that celebrates this time of year 馃巹
I enjoy a mix of Christmas and Solstice celebrations as I'm not religious.
鉂勶笍鉂勶笍鉂勶笍
The taste of blood was disgusting. It was hot, tasted like metal and fur and made her want to throw up.
Mutt had gotten better at fighting, but not nearly good enough for her Master. She snapped her jaws around the neck of another companion, feeling the blood in her mouth. They whimpered and dropped to the ground. Alive and bleeding. She took ragged breaths and limped away as the fight ended. At least this time she won.
Her Master still wasn't happy and to show it he kicked her. He muttered something beneath his breath but she was in too much pain to figure out what it was. Mutt just wanted to be a good companion. She kept her whimpering to a minimum and followed him home through the storm that had started to drape everything in white.
As soon as they were inside she shifted and crawled into her cage. He let her keep medical supplies in there, so she could bandage herself up. The bite on her leg wasn't as bad as she thought, and for that she was thankful. Mutt didn't think her Master would be willing to take her to a doctor.
+++++++++
The night could have gone better, but it wasn't a total loss. His Mutt had made him just over three hundred dollars from her fights that night. "Good job Mutt. Now I can get that upgrade for my computer." He kicked her cage as he walked past. "But you still lost a fight tonight so I'll have to punish you."
He smirked as her ears dropped and she cowered beneath him. Looks like all that training was paying off. "I'm going home for Christmas, since you didn't win all your fights, you aren't coming with me. And since you're just a dumb little dog, you can't stay here."
He watched as she tried to figure out what he meant. "You need to learn to be grateful for how much I take care of you. It's expensive making sure you eat enough to fight well. Not to mention the amount of medicine I need to buy." She lowered her head. "So while I'm gone you're going to see what will happen to you if you aren't good. Bad companions and bad fighting dogs live on the streets. Unwanted and useless. And you don't want to be that do you?"
She shook her head no and whined. He chuckled. "That's what I thought. You're going to live outside while I'm gone. Your cage will be on the porch and I'm only giving you enough food and water for the week. If you want anything else you'll have to find it in the trash." She opened her mouth as if to say something, but shut it just as quickly.
His stupid mutt was eager, which means this last punishment should break her. He didn't want a companion, he wanted a fighting dog. At least now she was almost perfect.
++++++++
"Jason, are you and Axel headed home for the holidays?" Samaria put them on speakerphone.
"Probably, but we will only stay a few days. I want to get a head start on that accounting project I was telling you about."
Samaria hummed. "Yea, you mentioned it. The two of you should come by then. We can exchange gifts for the solstice." She planned on spending the holiday break streaming and catching up on work.
Right now she needed to wash her bedding. Another winter storm was supposed to roll in and she had absolutely no desire to go out in it.
"We'd love to. I bought you a Christmas present but do you do anything special for the solstice?"
"Sorta" She opened the door and switched the call to her headphones. "We set out snacks for the animals every day, make wassail, and meditate."
"That sounds very different from Christmas."
"Your Christmas trees stem from my religion, so I suppose they're not that different... Ah, hold on." She stopped talking as she focused on shutting her door and taking her basket. She noticed her neighbor wrapping something in shipping blankets.
"Okay I'm back." She spoke as she rounded the corner. "Sorry, my weird neighbor was wrapping something. I wonder if he knows packages won't be picked up till after the holidays."
"Not your problem." Jason said. "Maybe he's just prepping to go home. Then you'll really get some peace and quiet."
"That'd be great. I complained to staff about how much he's yelling and it seemed to finally stop. Some people just shouldn't have a companion." She walked into the laundry room.
Jason had said something, but his voice cut out.
"I've got bad service. I'll call you back when I'm done with laundry. talk to you later." Samaria hung up and went to shove her bedding into a washer.

Companion whump continuation

Samaria was in a shit mood. Her ass of a neighbor kept screaming at his companion during the day.
"Bastard." She muttered as she was woken up for the second time that day. Groaning as she got up, she pounded on the wall. "Shut up!"
Samaria swore and went to her bathroom. There's no reason to be screaming at a companion. Sure they might be a little dumb at times but even then, screaming at them isnt necessary. After taking a shower she was happy to find out things were quite. Good.
Going to her computer she turned on all of her equipment. She'd be able to stream a new game for a bit and then get some editing in before her night classes. The neighbors door slammed and she groaned. Winter break couldn't come fast enough, at least then she'd get a whole week of pure silence.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Mutt didn't know what day it was. It had been a few days since her last fight, so maybe Thursday? Her collar shocked her every time she spoke, so she didn't dare ask her Master.
He kept moving around the room, packing things into a bag. Were they going to go somewhere? Mutt closed her eyes and let out a grunt when a wave of nausea came over her. She kept her eyes closed until Master kicked the cage. "Get out." He opened the door.
She crawled out of the cage and waited on her hands and knees for him to tell her what to do. "Go sit by my desk." Mutts shoulders dropped. She was only allowed near the desk when he made modifications to her collar.
She must not have been moving fast enough because he grabbed her hair and dragged her over. "Stupid Mutt." He plugged in her collar. "You need more training. I can't have you lose any more fights. Last weekend was pitiful."
Mutt lowered her head in shame. She'd lost the match last weekend, and the beating her Master gave her left her covered in bruises. "I'm going home for winter break. This is the perfect chance for another training session."
"No! Plea-" She cried out when the collar shocked her, stopping her sentence. Her Master then slapped her hard across the cheek.
"And that's why you're getting more training. A stupid mutt like you doesn't talk. All you're going to do is make me money in those dog fights."
Mutt whimpered as tears fell down her cheeks. She nodded just to show she understood. The 'training sessions' was her Masters way of justifying hurting her. He'd throw things at her to see if she could dodge, kick and beat her so she could try and protect herself, or randomly shock her whenever she did something wrong. She wanted to be a good companion, but nothing she did made him happy.
Her Master finished with her collar and unplugged her from the computer. He kicked her away as he got up from his chair. "Finish packing things for me. I'm going to class." He slammed the door shut and left her alone.

They were back in that terrifying place the next night. Mutt shivered as the cold breeze hit her. Her Master was talking to another man, and he yanked on her leash to bring her over.聽
"What breed is she?"聽
"A hybrid. Wolf dog." Mason checked his phone to be sure. "Grey wolf."聽
The man at the table frowned. "She's too big for this weight class. We don't have big breeds fighting till next month."聽
"Oh come on man. She's new. Never been in a fight. I just want to see how she'll do. In case she needs training." She watched as her Master pulled out green paper. That was money she had to remind herself.聽
The man took the bribe and sighed. "Fine. Take her to the pit and we'll see how she does."聽
Mutt started to tremble and she dug her heels into the ground as he pulled her leash. "Come on bitch. You're going to fight." Mutt shook her head no and she whimpered. Her Master raised his hand and struck her hard across the face. Tears welled up in her eyes and her Master just continued to drag her towards the pit.聽
"Shift."聽
She shook her head no. That earned her another slap.聽
"I said shift! Or next time I hit you it won't be with my hand."聽
Mutt pulled off her clothes and shifted. The smells were a thousand times worse. She could smell the blood and fear, the beer and other drugs being used. The harsh smell of medicine and the cries of other companions. She pinned her ears back and hung her tail between her legs. Her Master didn't care and shoved her into a pit.聽
"You better fucking win or I'll make sure you'll regret it." He hissed at her as he shut the gate, trapping her in the pit. She cowered and whined at the gate as another dog was brought in.聽
The other dog was only half her size, and was shaking the same as her. A bell rang and they didn't move. Mutt yelped as a shock jolted through her. "Fight! Bite the damn thing!" Her Master shocked her again, causing her to lunge forward. She didn't want to bite the other dog, but the other dog seemed to understand what had to happen faster than she did. The smaller dog bit her hind leg, and she cried out. Snapping out of fear, she bit the other dogs neck and pulled it off of her.聽
The taste of blood in her mouth made her sick. She limped away, snapping and barring her teeth. The other dog tried again, but she was defensive. Mutt shoved the dog away and she snapped at it's ear. She wasn't expecting the smaller dog to lunge for her leg again, biting the same wound as before. A loud yelp came out of her and she limped away, crying. Mutt just wanted this to end.聽
By the end of the fight, she had four bites on her. It ended in a draw since both of them had done enough damage. Her Master leashed her and dragged her to a man that bandaged her up. They had gone home after that and her Master looked angry. When she tried to step inside after him he stopped her. "No. Only winners get to sleep inside. You'll sleep out here." He shoved her backwards. "But I suppose since you fought well enough I'll be nice and let you have a pillow."聽
"Master please..." She stopped short. Mutt wasn't about to anger him anymore. A pillow was tossed to the ground and then the door slammed shut. Mutt cried as she crumbled to the floor. Taking the pillow, she curled up in the corner, hoping she'd be able to sleep.

I tagged a few people who've liked some of my writing in the past, please let me know if it's a bother and I'll remove it :)
Mason was pissed. The stupid companion he'd been given was a girl. He didn't want a girl. She'd be useless.聽
His friend Sam had just shown up with his own companion, a Newfoundland breed called Jax.聽 "Dude it can't be that bad. She could still make money."聽
"I don't want some useless bait dog."
Sam shrugged. "Hey don't underestimate a bait dog. I've seen them do some fucked up shit against a bigger breed."聽
"You know they pay shit compared to a fighting breed. At least with Jax you can make some money. He's big."聽
Sam groaned. "Big doesn't mean better. I swore I saw him flinch when a spider got near him."聽
"There's still time before the fights start. Maybe you can toughen him up." Mason looked over at the two companions. Jax was sitting on the floor and his mutt was in her cage.聽
"Did you name it yet?" Sam followed his gaze. "It's pretty for a dog."聽
"Nah. Stupid things name is Mutt. Maybe if she earns some money I'll change it."聽
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"Why are you in a cage?"聽
Mutt waited until their owners were busy doing something before she tried to answer Jax. "Master says this is where I belong. I haven't been good yet." She hugged her knees to her chest.聽
"My Master said I'd be a fighting dog. But I wasn't trained for that." His ears were flat against his head. "Were you?"聽
She shook her head. "No. I was trained to clean. I hope I don't disappoint Master."聽
"There were rumors about fighting dogs back in training, but I thought it was a myth to keep us from being bad." Jax shifted around. "If we're lucky maybe our Masters won't make us fight."聽
Mutt wasn't so sure of that. She snuck a glance at her Masters screens, seeing a schedule. The first date was for later that weekend. "I don't know. I think we'll have to. If that's what they want then we'll do it. I just hope it doesn't hurt."聽
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Mutt didn't like the place her Master took her to. It reeked of fear, blood, and alcohol. He pulled her leash tightly, forcing her to sit. It was loud and scary here, so she pinned her ears back and nervously held onto her tail.聽
They were looking at a pit of sorts. It was filled with sand and dark puddles. She didn't know if it was blood or pee. She didn't want to find out. The crowd cheered as two men came out, one dragging a smaller husky by its collar, the other barely holding back some massive breed she didn't know.聽
The larger black dog growled and barked, teeth snapping at the other dog. The husky cowered behind the man, but was shoved forward. Mutt felt like she was going to be sick. At the sound of a bell, the leashes were dropped and the larger dog lunged at the smaller one.聽
Her Master cheered and sloshed beer onto her as he stood. The pit was a frenzy of fur, bites, blood and cries. She trembled and cried as the larger black dog bit down on the smallers neck, causing blood to pool into the sand. The husky didn't move and the crowd cheered louder. An announcer claimed a winner, and someone dragged the body away.聽
She didn't want to fight. She didn't want to die. Her Master looked at her with a sick grin. "See that mutt? That'll be you tomorrow."聽

Sorry for bothering y'all with a tag but I thought you'd like to read a different take on my Companion posts. This one explores more whump and a different meeting for Lena and Samaria.
@starfields08000 @mj-iza-writer
Companion 2369 was excited. Today was finally the day. She had completed her training and now she'd be given a Master or Mistress to serve. It was hard to keep still, her tail wagging as soon as she thought about it.聽
She couldn't help but imagine what they'd be like. What would they name her? Would they let her have toys? She hoped she'd be good enough for them, even though she was told she was an 'undesirable' breed.聽
"Two Three Six Nine please come forward." The ladies voice finally called her number! She stood and went onto the stage, smiling and tail wagging as she met her new Master. His name was Mason. Her collar was synced to his control bracelet, and the two walked off the stage together. He sat down in a seat, and she kneeled next to him.聽
"Congratulations once again to our students who have earned a Companion. We will be hosting all sorts of events and challenges for the new pairs to complete, with prizes for the top winners." A screen lit up and showed a schedule of what was to come. Her tail thumped against the ground when she saw there was a chance to play tug of war. That game was her favorite.聽
She must have bothered her new Master because he stepped on her tail to stop it from moving. "Come on." He stood and headed towards the store she'd been told was a 'bookshop'. Her Master headed towards a section full of things for companions like her. There were toys! Would she get one? Her tail started to wag, but she quickly grabbed it and held it so she wouldn't upset her Master.聽
He picked up a leash and looked at a few other things. They disappointedly walked past the toys to check out. With the leash firmly clipped on her collar, he tugged her out of the store.聽
2369 realized that they were headed back to the rooms where the Masters and Mistresses lived. She followed obediently and was excited to see where she'd live. Did he already get her a bed? She hoped for something warm. The cold wind of fall promised to bring snow. The grey clouds seemed prepared to give it. He unlocked a door and unhooked her leash. "Get inside." He pushed her in.聽
The Master set down his things and hung the leash. 2369 noticed a cage in the corner, and she whined softly in disappointment. That was a mistake because her Master smacked the back of her head. "Stop that." He grabbed her collar and shoved her down to get into the cage. Once she was in, he locked the door and hooked a cable to her collar. "This is where you'll stay when I don't need you. With any luck you'll earn something to sleep on." He smirked at her. "But we'll have to see. I've got big plans for you mutt."聽

Bite the slave Part 7
"Ania." Lena hissed out. "Ania wake up." She shook the blondes shoulder. "Come on. You can't sleep for much longer. Rylee will find out."
The woman was curled up beneath the thick quilt of the bed. She looked so soft and peaceful, Lena thought it was a shame she wasn't more like this awake. Ania woke up, groggily rubbing her eyes. "Miss Samaria said to go easy. She took a lot of blood." Lena put a small plate of food in her hand. "Small bites. I'll get you some water."
"Thanks." Ania murmured out, slowly eating the toast on the plate. "I don't remember much."
"I only caught sight of her bringing you back into the house. You would have gotten sick being out in that rain all night." Lena handed her a cup of water and grabbed a brush to start to tame her wild bed head.
"Gods. If I get sick we both know Devin would catch it. He's weak enough as is."
Lena hummed in response. "Are you okay? Did she do anything to you?"
"No. I mean the bite hurt like hell but then I fell asleep. She must have tucked me in. That's a little weird." Ania winced when Lena brushed over a knot in her hair.
"I don't think I could handle another person like the Mistress. I'm glad she's the opposite."
"Don't expect it to last long. We're just food to her. Eventually she'll strike one of us. Nickolai did." The cook had started off being nice to them, but when Devin accidentally ruined dinner one night he'd slapped the slave.
They learned quickly that they couldn't trust anyone except for themselves. Devin insists that Rae is kind to him and would never hurt them, but Lena and Ania didn't believe him. She could read their thoughts, and that alone made them stay far away from her.
Lena finished brushing her hair. "Come down to the library with me, I can keep an eye on you while I dust."
"No." She was firm. "The bitch will just punish you if I'm not back outside to tend to my usual duties."
"Ania!" Lena hissed. "Don't call her that. It's Mistress or Miss Rylee."
Ania slipped out of the bed. "Don't worry about me. I can handle the punishments and pain. At least it keeps her attention off of you and Devin." She grinned, and took the plate with her as she left.
Lena sighed. If Ania would just act like a slave then she wouldn't be beaten. Or left outside like an animal. The winter solstice was coming, and with it the snow. Lena shivered at the thought of any of them being forced outside in the snow as a punishment.
She cleaned up Samarias room and went to tend to her chores.

Bite the slave Part 6
"It's too cold to be outside. I hope she doesn't get sick." Samaria listened in to the two slaves whispering amongst themselves. She had thought about feeding from one of them, but now she had another idea.
Heading outside, it was indeed raining. The mist of water covered her as she stalked into the night to find that other slave. Samaria found her near the barn, chained to a post. She growled and pulled away from her as she walked near. Samaria couldn't help but laugh. "Well aren't you a feisty one." She stepped on the chain, preventing Ania from pulling further away.
"Fuck off!" The woman yanked against the chain, but couldn't shake her.
"Oh relax feisty girl. I'm not going to hurt you. In fact I want to help you."
The blonde shivered in the cold and she glared at her.
"I need to feed from someone. And normally the person gets very drowsy when I do. If you calm down and listen then you'll figure out what I'm trying to do."
"You want my blood?"
"Yes. And once I take it you'll fall asleep. But I'm not taking it out here in the cold rain and mud." Her nose scrunched. "If you behave you can get a bath, dinner, and sleep in a bed tonight and Rylee can't do a damn thing about it."
She was clearly thinking it over. Her shoulders tremored and eventually sagged. "That does sound nice..."
Samaria grinned. "Exactly." She ripped the chain from the post. "Now come along. I'll take these chains off once we're inside." She held tightly onto the lead and took Ania inside. A hot bath and some food would do her some good.
The slave dug her heels into the floor as they came to the bedroom. Samaria could hear her heartbeat fluttering in her chest. She smirked, showing off her fangs. "what happened to that bite of yours outside hm? Surely you're not scared of a bath?"
"No..." She gave an unreadable look and slunk into the room.
"Good." Samaria snapped the chain off of her cuffs. "Now to take a hot bath and make sure you're clean. I hate tasting dirt on my meals."

Bite the Slave Part 5
It wasn't uncommon for the Mistress to host a party. Lena actually enjoyed them, much to the annoyed grumblings of her friends. "Oh come on. You have to admit we look nice. Just picture us without the collars and we could pass as normal people." Lena smoothed the skirt of her dress down. It was a simple dress, but the blue color looked rather lovely on her.
Ania scowled. "At least the two of you won't have to sleep outside tonight." The Mistress had deemed her to be 'too ugly' to be around guests.
"You know she has a temper. You shouldn't fight her so much, it would hurt less." Devin cautiously whispered.
"I'll fight her as long as I can. I don't care if she kills me." Ania snarled out, much to their dismay.
"I'll try and slip you some dinner tonight. Maybe the blanket?" She reached out and softly touched the other woman's arm. The touch made her soften for just a moment.
"No. You and Devin need it. The stones are cold. I'll be alright." Ania sighed and headed outside where she'd be chained to a post for the night.
The evening went by, with each of them attending to rylee or her guests as necessary. Lena teased Devin quietly when she caught his eyes following Rae around. He definitely had a crush on the alchemist. A shame it could be nothing more than that.
He of course got his revenge by teasing her when he noticed she had stolen several glances at the vampire. Her cheeks turned red. "I can't help it if I think she's pretty." Lena whispered back before she huffed and looked away.
"Do you think Ania is okay? I think it's raining."
"She knows the Mistress has a temper. It's best to not get on her bad side." Lena mumbled quietly. She didn't notice Samaria creeping closer to them. "It's too cold to be outside. I hope she doesn't get sick."
The two slaves quit talking as guests came near. Samaria had come near them, and neither slave would look at her. It wasn't hard to fear a person that could easily kill them. Finally the party ended, and they worked to clean everything. The Mistress said they could eat any of the leftovers, and went to bed.

Bite the Slave Part 4
Samaria didn't mind being in Rylee's home, but it always was a little busy. She'd rather be curled up with a book and left alone.
"A party?" She arched a brow.
Nickolai huffed, snapping at the slaves to hurry up. "Yes a party. I don't know why she's still hosting it when she should be in bed. But you know how politics are." He was knee deep in all sorts of dishes.
"I can help you know." She chuckled and handed him a towel to wipe his face.
"I've got the slave to help." He gestured towards Lena. "She knows how to bake."
Samaria hummed and eyed the blonde. "I see. Well. I suppose I must get ready if there is going to be guests." She said goodbye and went to change.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The evening was dull. Politics bored Samaria just as much as small talk did. She said hello, wandered around, and flirted with a few people. She caught a glimpse of the slaves and stalked over to them. The two of them seemed to shrink beneath her gaze. "Where is the other one?"
Devin hesitated, briefly glancing up at her before looking down. "She's outside Miss."
"Outside?"
"In the barn. The Mistress said she wasn't suitable for a party." Lena finished for the nervous man. Samaria noticed the flush of her skin and heard the grumbling of both of their stomachs.
"Ah, I see. Come with me." She grabbed Lenas arm and dragged the woman to the kitchen. "I need to feed, but you don't look like you've eaten."
Lena hesitated, but her stomach betrayed her. "No Miss, I haven't."
"None of that. Call me Samaria. Now, eat something."
"I- I can't."
Samaria was frustrated. Rylee must have beaten them far into submission. She tisked and grabbed the woman's collar, pushing downwards as she forced her into a seat. "You will." The firmness in her voice left no room for arguments. She grabbed a nearby plate of food and took a spoonful of the potatoes. "Open."
There was fear in her eyes. Samaria didn't like it, but she was trying to feed the poor thing. Immediately her mouth opened and she stuck the spoon into it. "Now finish eating this plate of food. I'll be back."
She stalked out of the kitchen back towards the party. She had planned on getting the other slave, but noticed he was talking to Rae, the alchemist. Or at least she thought they were having a conversation. It was hard to tell with the Samvati. Her kind spoke telepathically. His face was flushed, and he had the softest of smiles. Interesting. She chuckled and left them be.
