While Silver has mostly gotten over people calling him weak, even though he very much isn’t, he will not tolerate people calling his little girl weak.

In case it’s hard to read the dialogue, here’s a transcript:

Silver: What’s wrong, sweetie?

Maeve: Some boys made fun of me today. I tried not to let it get to me, but… they’re right. I am just a weak, dirty half-blood.

Hearing that, Silver gets mad. He starts plotting something as his daughter looks up at him with confusion.

“Dad…?”

Later that day, Silver tracks down the boys that had bullied his daughter and sics his Weavile on them.

“You think muggles are weak, huh? How’s this for weak!? Hahahahaha!”

The bullies scream in fright as the Dark/Ice type lunges at them, chasing them down the hall.

Okay okay let me put my glasses on and talk about this properly.

So, cons:

They love to play and do not realize that they're sapping your energy the whole time. Ill-advised for people with heart conditions or young children.

Lots of fur. One of the few corporeal ghost types that needs grooming. They love it though so most of the time the hassle will come from them wanting to give kisses.

They want to do everything with you. And I do mean everything. Bathrooms, parties, chores, sleeping, vehicle maintenance, studying. Anything you're doing they also want to do.

However, the pros VASTLY outweighs these.

If you've got the extra restless ADHD this pup is perfect for you! You should put yourself on a timer, of course, but playing with them has been proven to help people with issues focusing. Running around with them for 5 minutes can help both release endorphins in your body and also wear you out enough that your mind isn't going 1000 kph.

They love doing things with people so training them for things like harnesses and walking and contests and a plethora of tricks is the easiest thing in the world because they love you! A gym leader even has hers trained to dance with her when she performs! Isn't that wonderful?

You will never have a problem with burrowing pokemon in your garden ever again because your new best friend sleeps in the dirt and can feel when other burrowers are on their turf. 9/10 their bark will scare away pokemon like pachirisu and skowvet forever.

Even though this ghost type is corporeal they are basically immune to most climates meaning they can go with you anywhere! Mind you getting sand out of their fur is a pain but that shouldnt stop you taking them to the beach!

And my persona favorite: because they love you so much you can touch their paw pads any time.

I still think about them and they still make me smile. your kind comments are what motivates us and what helps us keep writing.

I personally know writers who take screenshot and print out comments they got from their readers.

Giantimax, the Mountain Troll Pokemon

Rock/Normal Type 

Wizards had heard of the concept of ‘Gigantimax’, and thought this Pokémon embodied it. 

Giantimax start out as small as a pebble but with enough food and care, they can grow to the size of a mountain.

If and when they reach this size, they go to sleep for longer and longer periods of time, until it’s enough so that they become covered in vegetation.

Their bodies eventually become like a whale fall, providing a unique ecosystem for smaller creatures to inhabit, including their own kin.

They turn to stone in daylight, so they are primarily nocturnal creatures.

Chironequus, the Centaur Pokemon

Normal Type

Chironequus are known to be formidable opponents in any altercation, whether it be physical or philosophical. They have trained mighty warriors and taught talented scholars alike.

They are steadfast stewards of their territory, keeping to themselves. Alphas of a herd shoulder the responsibility of protecting it as they travel.

Chironequus herds are semi-nomadic, moving about throughout the year to locations they know will provide adequate food and shelter.

Stelliquine, the Centaur Pokemon

Normal Type

This Pokemon is unique in that it possesses both humanoid and equine traits, even able to communicate with humans in their language.

However, they are known to be rather rowdy and reckless, kidnapping those they fancy to be their mate if they cannot find one among their own kind.

Stelliquine is able to read the stars to find their way, and taught this technique to sailors of old. They are able to divine meaning from the stars and the natural world around them.

Many see themselves as protectors of endangered creatures.

An in-universe explanation for making pokemon variants

I saw this meme (I think it’s a meme?) where you draw the trainer growing up with their pokemon

So I decided to do that with Rebecca. Hoppy was her starter pokemon that she had since her first year at New Hogwarts and has been with her ever since.

She obtains Sparky the Yamper and a Sakrout (a Pokemon native to Magia) named Lily during her third and fourth years.

Her other pokemon include inheriting her older sister’s Magian Skitty named Molly, a Sinistea she names Earl (after Earl Grey tea) and an Eevee named Tiné that evolves into a Flareon.
