//Alright, mostly everyone has been moved!
//I’ll be filling the queue on the other blog with things related to the new muses, and I have to make the tag posts still, but hey! I’m feeling fantastic about this!

//Well folks, it’s happening. I’m shuffling some of my muses to a different blog! Yaaaaaaay!
//honestly, this won’t be changing much. Mostly just that I won’t be sending things on anon for them XD but I suppose the bigger question is who’s moving and who’s staying? Who’s getting Archived because the group is gone or I have no muse?
//Staying: Masha’s siblings, Sariel, Maria, & Masha’s aus
//Moving: Serenity, Robin, Diana, Mia, & Sophie
//Getting Archived: Hope, Iyela, Lucy, L-27, & Estrid
//So, the archived muses aren’t gone forever. If I ever get muses for them or interest in them, they can certainly make a return! But for now, they’re going to get carefully filled away with love.
//See y’all on the other blog!! <3

//I'm... Considering repurposing this blog a bit? There are several reasons for this.
//The first being that while I still love Eliza quite a bit, she's been a very quiet muse for at least two years now. The second reason is that I have a multi-muse side-blog that I would love to get more interactions with. But because it's a side-blog that makes it hard. Which sucks, because those muses are very fun.
//so, a reasonable solution would be to keep Eliza here as a muse... And just move the muses from that blog to here.
//I am taking opinions on this? But I really do think it's for the best?
#mun talks#//okay…#//so like many of you know this is the side blog in question#//so some of the muses here would be moving#//I think this would turn back into just Masha’s siblings and their aus?#//while some of the others would be archived or moved#//which I think will help me feel better about things in general?#//so I’m just kinda looking for opinions

This was a strange, unexpected hangout session. And the topic was stranger still. He was enjoying it, sure, but talking about how their powers made them outcasts among people around their ages was…. a little cathartic? Is that the right word for it?
“Their loss, really. Having a friend like either one of us would be awesome.” Only problem was the reality of the situation. That other kids were too busy being afraid to see things in that light. “… honestly, screw most people. Life’s too short to have a stick up your butt, and lots of people around here have entire tree branches up theirs.”
That cracks Mia up a bit, as she dissolves into giggles for a few seconds. There’s a moment where she almost falls off of the bench, before she catches herself. “Oohohoh, I’ve know people who had entire trees up their butts! 10/10 do not recommend them.” Mostly it had been teachers. they didn’t like her either. Because teaching her was hard.
“But, yeah! We are pretty awesome!” She grins. Nodding confidently at Kouki. Mia was liking this. Having a friend that was like her. She’d had friends before but... well, she didn’t dwell on it too much. Kouki was a good kid. Mia liked him already. She’d stick around for a long while because of it. “And cool. That’s very important... Hey? I’m actually like really glad I met you. It’s like... the best thing that’s happened for me in a long time.”

Diamond tilts his head in a faint shrug. “It certainly doesn’t hurt anything, as long as you have enough water and fuel and aren’t in a rush. Particularly with how quickly some things mutate these days. I’m glad you have a guide. Hopefully it isn’t too out of date.” He grimaces. “If it’s pre-war, I might… do a write-up for that, too. And boiling for longer would absolutely be the correct choice if that’s the case.”
He huffs, running a hand through his hair. “If there isn’t a well nearby… I can feel around for promising well spots easily enough, but drilling is a different question. Might ask around Diamond City to see if there’s a drill rig anyone’s willing to rent, next time I’m out that way.”
Diamond shakes his head, dropping his hand and studying the kids. They seem at least a bit steadier, and he smiles faintly. “Something to worry about in the future, I suppose. For the moment… I think I might go retrieve my glassware, if that’s still alright with you three?”
“It’s vault-tec.” Which meant it was definitely written pre-war. And also named something cheery like ‘Surviving Post-Nuclear World!’. Because that was just how vault-tec did things. One weird-ass pre-war company.
Jay nods, “We can make do with the water from the river for now. It hasn’t made us sick or anything yet... And we’ll keep being really careful about it.” He wasn’t too terribly worried about it. They could keep hauling water up until there was time to go to Diamond City. Or time to find what was needed.
“Oh?... Oh, right, yeah!” There’s a small nod from all of them, the glassware having been briefly forgotten in the excitement. “Where’d you bury it?”

The pale boy put his hands behind his head and leaned back into the bench as he watched her stuff a few more chips into her mouth. It’s… weird, getting along with someone else around his age for once.

“Honestly? Same, but for different reasons, I think.” Even so, that didn’t mean he wasn’t facing some of the same problems that she did. “Other than being scared the sick electric powers, I don’t get why anyone wouldn’t want to hang out with you. You look like you’re a cool girl to hang out with.”
This was all weird but nice in Mia’s opinion. And a nice distraction from having to figure out where to sleep tonight. Or if she was going to have dinner. Ah well, problems for later her. For now she was enjoying herself.
“I dunno, the other kids in school didn’t like me though.” She’d tried not to let it bother her. But it had. She knew she wasn’t good a school, she could just never get her head around why they’d never liked her. “I mean... I know why I don’t like me, but it’s whatever y’know? If they wanna make dumb decisions that’s on them.”

“Ah, don’t worry, it’s just practice,” he says. “Alright, hit me.” Jay keeps his hands up, and watches Mia. When she strikes, he steps slightly to the left, her electric hands skating past him. It flickers in his hair, skittering up his gold strands before Jay hits Mia in the chest- lightly! Not that hard!- his own power rippling up and into her.
He’s practicing too- this isn’t necessarily just for Mia, as much as he says it is. It’s just a short burst that shouldn’t hurt. It’s just meant to disable- which is does- but he must’ve hit her harder than he thought because she goes down and hard.
Jay winces. “Sorry! Sorry- I didn’t mean that- are you okay? Are you okay, breathing fine, limbs working good?” He comes over, crouches next to her. “Please tell me if you can’t feel your arms, chest, or whatever, okay? I don’t- sometimes things go a bit wrong with my power an- - d sometimes people get hurt when I don’t want them to.”
He offers a hand. “C'mon up, I owe you lunch after that.”
Mia blows a small raspberry, grinning. She was having fun after all. Who knew that learning anything could be fun? Not her. Even if leaning to properly fight and sparing came with the side effects of bruises-- Or in this case, hitting the floor fairly hard.
Give her a moment Jay, she’s processing what happened. Just sort of staring at the ceiling. Checking to make sure she can still feel all her limbs, flexing the finger, wiggle the toes, and move on to her arms and legs. Yup. She could still feel all of those things.
“I think I’m alright? My chest feels... I dunno, a little funny? Breathings fine though.” She’ll take the offered hand to help her stand up. It definitely felt like she’d gotten the wind knocked out of her? Mia rubs her chest where the hit had connected. “Y-yeah, lunch sounds good now.”

//I think I saw something similar thing in a post where somewhere, which is why it popped into my head, but anyways:
//I made myself giggle over the idea of Mia’s first time meeting Jason/Red Hood being just… encountering him in the Wayne Manor kitchen at like 2am. Just staring at him for a long minute before deciding ‘eh, might as well be happening’ and just going to get herself a glass of water. 0 fear.
#mun talks#//I just remembered this and started giggling#//I need to find a Jason to write with for this#//and for other shenanigans#//I feel like Mia would get along way too well with him

“Nice, nice,” Jay complimented. “You’ve got messy footwork though. More like this.” She demonstrated the steps and settled back into relaxation. “That was a good power amount too. I can still feel it.” It was still running along her nerves, sending sparks up and down her spine. Jay suppressed the urge to shiver. The last thing she wanted to do was to look bad in front of Mia, like she could actually be hurt by the teen’s power.
“Let’s do this a few more times and then we can,” Jay shrugged, waving a nonchalant hand, “go see if the cafeteria is open or not.” A cheeky smirk grew on his face, “And then we can spar. If you can land a proper, actual, honest-to-god hit on me, I’ll buy you lunch .” The chances of it happening weren’t- well, Jay wasn’t about to say it wasn’t possible, but it was distinctly unlikely. If it did, then it wasn’t going to be a big loss.
Honestly, he’d probably have to buy lunch for Mia anyway.
Mia blows a raspberry at Jay, jokingly of course. “Yeah, well, if I think about my feet to much, I’m gonna end up eating dirt.” She was still learning after all. Didn’t make her any less salty about not being good yet.
The promise of food makes her light up though. It was always easy to bribe her with food though, as Jay had probably figured out at this point. (She happened to be a fan of sun-chips especially.) She grins, bouncing on the balls of her feet with a laugh. “Okay! I’ll hold you to that Jay!!”
There’s a little sparking in her hair, but only for a moment. Before she get’s it back under control. Her powers were still a bit tied to her emotional state. More than ready to run through the exercise a few more times at Jay’s signal.

‘‘Ghost boy’‘? He could levitate stuff like a ghost and he was pale, sure. Beyond that, likening him to a ghost just… didn’t work too well. Those were the only similarities he had in common, and even then, you could say he has common ground with aliens or whatever else could make stuff float. Credit where credit is due, at least it was unique, and not one of the dozens of names he’s been called time and time again over the years. It was a welcomed difference.
“Ghost boy? Props for coming up with something original. Haven’t heard that one before. But I’m good on snacks, I just got done with my lunch a few minutes ago and I’m off to go find something to do.” Deciding to play into it, Kouki floated himself over to the bench, opting to take a seat by her legs rather than sit atop the back of it. “If you wanna hang out though, I’m down for it.”
Mia chuckles, glad she’d come up with something he hadn’t heard before. And perhaps a bit pleased too. She’ll grin at him when he takes a seat on the bench beside her. Even if he didn’t want any snacks, it was nice to have someone to sit with for a bit.
“Alright, suit yourself.” She shrugs, munching on a few more chips before continuing. More for her, and if he changed is mind later too. “Hanging out is good! There’s not a lotta people that want to hang out with me... and I wouldn’t trust most adults as far as I could throw them.”

The thing about Wayne manor was, quite simply, that it was huge. Mia honestly spent more time getting lost from exploring than anything else really. But that was how she found quiet spots, and weird things.
Like the clock.
At first it seemed like just a normal old grandfather clock. Just sitting there, casually, in the one living room. After a bit, she had noticed a difference in the air around it. How sometimes there was a slight breeze near it. And that had made her more than a little bit curious about it. After all, shouldn’t all large mansions have hidden doors and secret paths?
An investigation had revealed that there were hidden buttons along the sides. Curious! It had taken her a bit to puzzle out the correct order they needed to be pressed in. Mostly because she refused to try and brute-force it.
The clock smoothly swung open to reveal... A stone staircase? Heading downwards? How odd! And worthy of investigation! Mia did have her flashlight on her if she needed it, but the stairs seemed well lit. So, down she went, curious as to what she would find at the bottom.

Just a friendly reminder that roleplaying with me is no pressure. It doesn't matter if your response takes days, weeks, or even months. I understand that life comes first and this is a hobby that's meant to be fun.

@pastballads asked: He wasn't expecting to see her again. The city was a big place, rarely offering a chance to meet the same person twice unless he happens to discover a route or two they commonly take. With... Mara? Maria? It was definitely a name that started with an M and ended with an A... but it was slipping the boy's mind at the moment. Whatever her name was, she didn't seem like the kind of girl to stick to a single path, making this accidental encounter a bit more interesting.
"Hey, long time no see, sparky!" - Kouki to Mia
To be fair, Mia had been wandering. Never staying in one place for too long. Seeing as that tended to attract more attention than she wanted. Which meant she hadn’t been expecting to see the younger boy around either. At the greeting however, she looks up, and grins. Better him than an adult after all.
She’s sitting on the back of a bench in the park. One of the places people tended to ignore her as long as it looked like she was doing something that wasn’t trouble. Which in this case was snacks nicked from some of the vending machines. Mia waves her little bag of sun-chips at him, she didn’t remember his name either. Something with a K? “Sup Ghost boy? Wanna join me for lunch? I’ve got... okay I’ve got a bunch of snacks really. Better than nothing though, right?”

@chronusbled asked: Cassie's just... gonna slink on up under Di's arm and impose herself all over her beb. It's cuddle time and she's late for her affection.
Diana hums, shifting enough so that she can affection Cassi back. Just gonna wrap her arms around the other girl and bury her face in her shoulder. A soft sigh as they settle in to place. “Hello my love,” She hums, closing her eyes. This was good. Truly really good. “How was your day?”

@tenthousandmusesmaybemore asked: “You’re a brave boy, but you’re no match for that thing.” (( Marad to Robin -sunglasses emoji-
“Stars, will you shut up already?” There’s an audible groan from Robin, as he glares at the corrupted magi. How on earth did this one keep finding him? Especially in places where it was easy for Robin to be cornered! It was almost like he knew Robin’s patrol paths. Which was plausible, if he’d been watching Robin for awhile. But did the corrupted magi have the patience for that? Robin certainly didn’t know.
Aaand yeah, being called a ‘brave boy’ by the other was sure doing something for him. What exactly? Stars only knew. He could write off the flush as a rush from the fighting. It meant nothing! “Or better yet, get down here so I can make you shut up!” It’s shouted up at Marad with an angry gesture. No, he hasn’t realized what he said.
