fairytale origins

finally got around to finalizing this comic that came to me at 3 a.m. right as i was trying to sleep about a month ago.

back in October of 2024, two weeks after bingeing all of Gravity Falls for the first time, I found this on youtube shorts and watched it for minutes straight. I listened to The Mind Electric constantly for like a week after that.

This is the reason I listened to one of my favorite albums. Those blinking symbols on the portal are burned into my mind.

Sticking this here so I can be reminded in four weeks to get the flowers I collected yesterday out of my mom's old press her sister bought for her in London, probably back before I was born.

The bottom layer of crabapple blossoms came from the branches over the front patio. Possibly a Robinson crabapple?

In layer of wildflowers: the white one with the long fillament is from a some sort of fruit (probably) bush, the blue ones came from northeast of my bedroom along with the small and round white ones but the longer more rectangular ones came from the southeast. So did the yellow ones that smell like sage, and I picked the purple ones on my way back inside.

The second layer of crabapple blossoms were collected from the branches over the back patio. Same tree as first layer. Also on the same layer are the purple lilac buds I picked on the front patio.

don't mind me i'm just having one of those moments where i'm laying in bed but i keep twitching away from the air and good god it's all awful, i need music but i don't own wireless headphones - loud music, blasting ...well, better than the alternative and i can't stand looking at my room i'll turn my lamp off and admire my glow-in-the-dark stars, but i can't lay down because of my pillow. i'll sit and jam my body into my hoodie even though my hoodie isn't nearly big enough for that.

i'm fine, just don't fucking touch me or look at me and it's a really good thing that it's 3 a.m.

I might have to stick this in a fanfic, because this is such a Gravity Falls thing and I do love this song. Also I LOVE THEIR FACES THEY'RE SO SILLY

The Dirt Man song has always felt like some BS Gravity Falls cryptid that Ford had studied at one point.

I'll finish the full song one day, but for now enjoy a tidbit I made so I could learn how to use PROCREATE DREAMS on my ipad

How long did it take the Pines twins to reach the Gravity Falls?

Hi, Asian here, just wanna ask the Americans, how long does it take to take a bus from California to Oregon? Because I looked it up online and it takes about 1 day (21hr~24hr) , and the Pines Twins take the bus to and from Gravity Falls, wouldn't that take a lot of time? ... Just curious about whether the information I found is accurate.

Happy May! I like to think that somewhere back home Mabel has a bell collection and she gets it out every year, and then proceeds to get noise complaints from their neighbors. And while there is a cross on the church, it is a lesbian wedding. There's some alternative versions under the cut :)

I tried to put an actual doorbell in the top center, but I have no clue what they actually look like and my camera quality is awful, so the bundles of wiring aren't really clear.

I ate some pine sap earlier today. Just... scooped a bit of the end of a snapped branch and licked it. It tasted alright, about how you'd expect judging by how the needles smell, but it did sorta stick to the roof of my mouth and make my eyes water. So probably won't do it again now that my curiosity has been satisfied. 6/10

Day one of going dairy-free to see if it improves my health, wish me luck. I've already had to have cheese-less broccoli mac-n-cheese so that's great.
