I know I am like 2 years too late reblogging this, but I slowly wanted to return to my beloved fandom spaces after a very hectic year. Thanks for being so patient and understanding with me ♡

Three ships:  Tony Stark/Stephen Strange (Marvel), Keith Kogane/Lance McClain (Voltron Legendary Defender), and Clive Rosfield/Jill Warrick (Final Fantasy XVI)

First ship: Oh gods, going all the way back to my childhood...it is probably a tie between Syaoran Li/Sakura Kinomoto (Cardcaptor Sakura) and Taichi Yagami/Yamato Ishida (Digimon Adventure)

Last song: "Une vie à t'aimer" by Alice Duport-Percier and Lorien Testard, from the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack. I have been listening to this song on loop nonstop for the past week. I will memorize the lyrics, dammit!

Last film: The Wild Robot from DreamWorks Animation. It was much sweeter than I expected!

Currently reading: I've been finding comfort fics in AO3 lately, ngl. However, my fianceé just gave me access to her stash of online comic books, so I'm going to start with the cute It's Jeff: Jeff-Verse comics, I think.

Currently craving: Boba tea! I miss tasty boba tea so much. My favorite was an avocado and taro combination that our local boba shop in Winter Park does. I want one so bad...

Favorite color: Purple!

Last thing googled: A carrot cake recipe for Mom. It looked tasty!

Current obsession: Sexy, sad, bearded men. I know, it sounds weird, but it's a trend at this point: Clive Rosfield from FFXVI, and both Gustave and Verso from E:33. To add the cherry on top, my DnD character in my friends' current campaign looks almost exactly like them. I've been obsessing over his story and our adventures for quite a few months, now~

First ship: I think it might have been Kai/Rei from Beyblade many many moons ago… or maybe it was Aragorn/Legolas?🤣

Last song: Snow On The Beach, by Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey, I’m using it as inspiration for the fic I’m writing at the moment!

Last film: Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon A Time…. I’ll be honest, I got a little bit confused at this movie, which is a shame as I love Evangelion!

Currently reading: I’ve literally just finished reading Leigh Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone Trilogy, and I’ve just borrowed The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E Schwab. I like to read before bed, so I’m looking forward to starting that tonight!

Currently craving: Cake, chocolate anything with sugar in. I’m doing a challenge this month where I’ve given up sugar for January and it’s so hard! I’ve eaten so much fruit to compensate!😢

Favorite color: Yellow, but I’m quite taken with purple.

Last thing googled: An address in Mexico for work, but before that it was sexy masquerade masks, again for the story I’m writing.

Current obsession: Still FrostIronStrange/ IronStrange, but I’m looking into writing more Kirk/Spock fics after I’ve finished my current long one! I’m also obsessed with collecting pins at the moment!

Thank you for tagging me in this @ailendolin ♡ I promise I haven't forgotten about any of your fun tags. It's just...been a hectic year...

I'm not quite sure I know how to describe my taste in music. I grew up with my mom listening to The Beatles and 60's music, and my dad listening to opera and classical music. I guess it's no surprise I quickly grew attached to movie soundtracks. It was like fancy classical music that was nerdy enough for me to understand! XD

I used to go to sleep listening to The Return of the King soundtrack on my walkman when I was little, and the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy is still very dear to me, as are all of the OSTs on my list. Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba has a special spot in my heart as the first show I ever experienced when I was only 6 years old. In my opinion, no other show has come close to it, except maybe O.

And, of course, my current obsession, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Gods, what a soundtrack! Coupled with the brilliant, heartwrenching game, it is certainly a 12/10. It has even made me start learning French! I seriously recommend it if you haven't listened to it yet.

As you can see my taste in music / albums is not typical. Even as a child, I rarely liked entire albums - most of the time, it was only one or two particular songs on them. And this selection reflects that pretty well. When I listen to an album all the way through, it's often a film score or musical album. Apart from that, I tend to listen to sea shanties, traditional folk songs or live albums (which I always prefer to a studio recording btw because raw emotion is always better than auto-tune).

Another area Clair Obscur scored gold in is pathetic men.

Gustave is only one moment away from ending it all 90% of the time, and in the remaining 10% he's actively trying to do it. He would say "If anything happens to Malle, I'm going to kill everyone in this room, and then myself" completely unironically and mean every word of it. He isn't only the oldest man in Luimere, but also absolutely the poor little meow meow-est.

Verso's aloof lone wolf TM persona does not survive five minutes of being in the team's general proximity. He folds like a particularly pliable piece of paper with the attempted nonchalance that's also paper-thin. I'd also bet a lot of money that if he was allowed to cry every time he wanted to (and needed to), the game's runtime would jump by at least five more hours.

And I think it's beautiful <3
