genuinely surprised how many people thought sayaka would be a healer. girl's favorite combat strategy is to run in without thinking and kill the witch before it kills her; taking all that damage on herself and not giving a fuck about it. she's the most natural tank to have ever tanked

Popularising my Madoka Magica corrupt-a-wish project by making a wish a new OC would have.

Gender: Agender

Pronouns: They/It/She

"I wish that all of those buildings would disappear, and turn to field. Even better, a park."

Soul Gem Placement: "Third Eye" area - (In making the wish, she was "looking" to the past - father getting a job at one of the buildings, causing them to move to the big city from the country/smaller rural towns, as well as recent suicides happening from building roofs (mainly from witches + lack of Magical girls in area) - as well as the 'future' - the building stops becoming an "attraction" for people, less deaths, and they may move back to smaller town. Middle of both sides would be the "3rd eye".)

Power(s): Crater - By drawing a circle, whether mid air or on the ground, (maximum diameter 250m), the circle will inflate to a sphere, and anything encapsulated, above and below, will 'disappear' (actually be replaced with clear air, as opposed to 'disappear', as that implies a vacuum). Some materials cost less magic to disappear (e.g. buildings, earth/pavement, scaffolding, plants) than others (animals, humans, witches). Lots of different items/structures in a single sphere counts as a 'complex' material, casting large total magic.

Corruption/Consequence: Naturally, grief seeds are a priority, so it would be best to team up. However, this power is destructive and unfiltered. Anything in the sphere will be eliminated, even things unintended to be eliminated. Being too reckless can make them gain a poor reputation, and less likelihood of forming a team - and that's not even mentioning any corruption a guilty conscience causes if innocents are the crossfire of the sphere.

Some ideas bouncing around my head for characters:

A protag who goes with their instinct and heart, which tells them to do kind and compassionate things (also actively promotes listening to your heart to be a better person, leading them to interact more with the antagonist in hopes to promote their change of heart).

An antag who goes with their instinct and heart, which makes the more destructive and apathetic as a result (could be a way of bringing back the "bad to the bone" classic villains, which I don't think we've seen in a while).

A rival, morally grey character who goes against their instinct and heart actively (Mostly to be more moral, even though the protagonist may initially think they're going against their instinct to be immoral). Eventually falls to the protag's side.

Bonus points if we get some frog and the scorpion allusions (including different adaptations circling around the internet) thrown in there with these three and their interactions.

#kyuubey corrupt-a-wish - The Corrupt-A-Wish game, but tailored to the themes of Puella Magi Madoka Magica (PMMM). Send a wish, and I'll give your soul gem location (cause I subscribe to the theory that the nature of your wish/what drives your wish determines soul gem placement), one/two powers, and how I've granted, and also corrupted your wish to cause the most(?) despair.

Guidelines:

You may mention any other specific information about your character/the person granting the wish to have something more specific (e.g., their situation/why they wished, personality, if they were influenced by any previous puella magi?).

Although Puella Magi in the series are female, I do not care of the gender of the character. Any gender can make a wish, and you may only specify the gender if you want to

Please refrain from repeating wishes. You may, but I may need more specifics/information about the character to think of a different way the wish will be corrupted.
