They just want you to be okay. And more than anything, they hope that one day, you’ll be able to see yourself the way they see you, someone worth loving, completely and unconditionally. Gentle reminder to the selfshippers who are unemployed for any reason (disabled, jobs simply won't do their job and hire, in a complicated situation, etc) that your f/o still loves you and does not find you lazy, a burden, or anything negative like that. They know you have reasons and they are more than happy to help provide for the things you need. They never want you to be hard on yourself, you're trying your best everyday and they're so proud of that alone, you don't have to work to be worthy of love, care, rest, and basic needs.

And to the selfshippers who work their asses off and still have to struggle (because the world has gone to shit), your f/os are there to support you through every work day. They hope they can ease some of the stress and troubles that come with your work. You can rely on them, always. When the job becomes too much or you're burnt out, they'll be there to take care of you, they'll be your rock, your home, your safe space. Your struggle is not a reflection of who you are, so please don't ever feel guilty that you're struggling even if you work, it's not your fault and they'll remind you of that.

In both cases, it may be difficult to obtain merch of your f/os/beloved too. Don't compare yourself to others, your love for them is so real, and your beloveds cherish you and your love so much more than you realize. They. Love. You. No matter what.
