One evening, looking for some artefact from Lockwood’s parents in the clutter she shares the attic with, Lucy finds a battered old suitcase containing lots of Lockwood’s childhood toys. There's toy cars and action figures from the Fittes Agents Saturday morning cartoon. She takes it down to show Lockwood and casually mentions how she always really wanted some of the action figures as a kid but her mum never brought her any and how she used to stand outside the toy shop for hours, staring up at the toy Fittes Base they had on display in the window.

And a week later, Lucy returns home to find Lockwood and George have bought her a Fittes Base toy with all the figures that Lockwood didn’t have and they spend hours playing around with it. And even after the novelty has worn off, Lucy finds herself and the boys moving the figures around inside the base (George keeps putting them in inappropriate poses and Lockwood and Lucy keep setting them out in scenes from their favourite episodes of the cartoon)

And it's not like it isn't an option. He knew that Jacaerys was going to be named a Targaryen once he ascended the throne after Rhaenyra, so he very well could have just applied the same logic for Baela.

And IIRC, in a succession crisis, females can keep their maiden name to ensure their house doesn't face collapse if they are the sole heirs. So it's not so different in this situation.

the whole pick a side nonsense is weird to me because you know the team green actors are harassed because people cannot differentiate an actor from a character but you have a whole defend your council video when you know team green cannot talk about their feelings on the matter like team black did because the fanbase is insane

I will never understand why or how people are so touched and think that this line is so sweet…

This old creep of a man, married a woman and forced her to have as many children as she could. She had Rhaenyra who was born healthy, but due to her not being born a boy, Viserys pushed Aemma to have 5 more babies.

One who died in the cradle, two stillbirths and two miscarriages.

He was so sure that he wanted a second child, a boy, that he was willing to sacrifice his wife for him. Yet they both died.

Alicent

He then went on to marry another young truly innocent girl. Don’t even think about coming at me with the whole false accusation “Alicent seduced him” because you sound like a predator making excuses to blame a child for an adults actions.

He forced her to have 4 more children, 3 of which were boys… yet he never cared nor paid attention to any of them whilst growing up. This left Alicent to raise her children single-handedly.

These two woman, both victims of Viserys’ carelessness, had several children, and at the end of it all, only Rhaenyra, 1 out of 10 children, was labeled as his child.

This isn’t disrespectful to just Aegon, Aemond, Helaena and Daeron. It’s disrespectful to the 5 dead children he had with Aemma, Aemma herself, and Alicent.

Don’t have more than one child if your not capable of loving more than one. Even better: don’t force two woman to carry your children if your only going to love one…

She hates Daemon because he never stops getting into her head but she doesn't know that she has the same power in him.

i need to talk about laenor for a minute

"he was happy!" "ha wanted to leave his family!"

mmmm are you sure?

because in ep 6 he wants to leave KL, yeah, but he def does not want to disappear. he wants to join his family in the stepstones. he's tired, he's done. he has "played his part". was he really that happy with his modern family in KL? because it sure didn't sound like it when rhaenyra has to command him to stay by her side because she needs him to keep covering up for her.

when rhaenyra and daemon had that convo in ep 6 when rhaenyra wanted to have laenor killed and daemon convinced her to give him a choice.

the choice was go away or we'll kill you.

they actually went to laenor on his sister's funeral, when his family needed him the most and made him leave. laenor wanted to leave KL to join his family in the stepstones. he never wanted his family to think he's dead, especially not when they've just lost laena.

and that plot makes 0 sense because if laenor ever comes back rhaenyra and daemon will be branded as liars and traitors & their children will be declared as illegitimate. not to mention, if rhaenys and corlys ever find out about what they did their alliance is over. like rhaenys will literally burn them. the fact that they knew how much corlys and rhaenys suffered and still chose not to tell them about laenor is so messed up.
