Do you guys think the name of the parents are foreshadowing something? Douglas comes from the Scottish Caelic word "Dubh Glas" meaning black river or dark stream, while I don't have a theory for this one I feel like his name's etymology being that is one hell of a coincidence. The mom however, has a name that's easier to create theories for, her name is Renee, a French name that means reborn, which makes me believe that her tar soul will maybe find a new host or reincarnate. I'm just pondering the possibilities and might just be liking too much into it but their names feel like they were chosen with a more concise effort and a purpose whereas Andree and Ashley were pretty much names Nemlei chose by googling most popular names in the 90s
