Hi, I'm here to give you some updates on the rewrite.

I've rewritten the story from scratch, changed the twine template and I'm trying to add more options and customisations for Mc, such as body type and more hobbies. I'll give you more updates and character designs soon! Have a good rest of the weekend!

Behind your eyes """update"""

I finally "updated" the game.

Let me explain, i'm working on a complete re-write of it  and i wasn't going to post this build that i wasn't going to follow anymore but i decided to just to show a little of the first chapter. So, yes, there's a lot of unfinished things and the chapter one is not complete, is just the begining of it, but i hope you enjoy! And yeahn the UI images just vanished...i think i excluded it...

I hope to post the new version soon! I want to be more active about the IF's this year since i'll have a study routine more flexible to write.

I'm having to study a lot because of some big exams coming in a few months (and i get anxious because of it so... no real writting done), but i'm still working on the chapter of BYE, (i already have the full chapter writen in a notebook but i always change things when i move to twine) and i'm going to add some MC traits and further customization so i'm working on it. Unfortunately chapter one of BYE will be delayed a few months.

I'm having a bit of trouble finding quality time for my studies and other things, so I'm writing less frequently than before to make sure I keep up my daily routine.

How old is BYE MC?

MC is 19 to 20 yrs old.

Can you share some facts about the ROs from Behind your eyes? You made me curious with the one from What lies in the past!

DANTE:

He's 22 years old.

He likes to play the flute, long travels, and making charms.

He tends to be friendly and a little hot-headed. If romanced, his love language will be quality time and gift giving, always giving Mc the most pretty charms that he made and his complete and whole affection.

He's a fire elementalist. He doesn't like to be touched by people he's not close to. He has a burn covering his arm up to his neck. Has an older sister.

He uses smoke bombs and his fire magic to fight and he's responsible for brewing potions and certain items for the group.

If Mc's hellcompanion is a bird or a serpent, He'll have more interactions with them.

IARA:

She's 26 years old.

Iara is a former guard. Partially blind in one eye. She tends to be observant, calculating and cooperative. If romanced, she'll have quality time and acts of service as her love language. She'll love to spend days in the forest with MC and protecting and loving them too.

She likes plants and nature in general.

Her weapons are a whip, and she's responsible for the security and for the guild's strategies.

If Mc's hellcompanion is a rodent or a canine, she'll have more interactions with them.

LEON:

He's 24 years old

Leon is religious, lived and studied in church (of a fictional religion), he likes reading, and birds. He tends to be quiet, friendly and strategic, with a leadership spirit that he sometimes struggles to maintain. If romanced, he'll love to shower MC with compliments and acts of affection when he can. His love language is physical touch and words of affirmation.

He likes birds and would love to have a crow.

His weapon is a shield and he does most of the contact work and organises the investigations and plans.

If mc's hellcompanion is a bird, he'll have more interactions with them.

LEVI:

They're 24 years old.

Levi tends to be "chaotic-evil", with a fondness for making people annoyed.

They tend to be sarcastic, stubborn and honest. If romanced they will love physical contact with mc, always taking them on their lap or vice versa, and touching them often. Their love language is touch and acts of service.

Their weapons are blades and they take care of the cooking.

Levi likes singing, cooking, dogs (big ones because they don't like the tiny ones), tight clothes (but not too tight), sculpting in clay, stone or plaster animals, mostly dogs.

They once had a dog called Cinnamon.

If Mc's hellcompanion is a dog, they'll have more interactions with them.

MATHEUS:

He's 20 years old.

He likes drawing, books and talking to others. He's very friendly and well-liked in the towns he passes through as a hunter. Likes cats and plants.

His weapon is a crossbow and he looks, mainly, after the group's armory.

He tends to be sweet, friendly and perceptive. If romanced, his love language will be physical touch and words of affirmation. Loving to talk to Mc about day-to-day things while cuddling together and filling Mc with words of encouragement and compliments.

If Mc's hellcompanion is a feline, he'll have more interactions with them.

SIENA:

She's 22 years old.

She likes to gossip (especially with Matheus), clothes that are traditionally masculine make her feel more comfortable.

Her weapon is a spear and she takes care of the hunting, she collects herbs and other ingredients from the wild too, mostly alone but somethimes with help from another companions.

Has two older brothers.

She tends to be a jokester, pragmatic and intelligent. If romanced, she'll love teasing mc and spoiling them. Love language is gift giving and acts of service.

If Mc's hellcompanion is a canine or a serpent, she'll have more interactions with them.

Dude, BYE mc could be sneezed on and they'll just drop dead, not even from the force of the sneeze, just from their heart stopping in pure terror

I have no idea if Levi's bias is actually accurate or not but like, even they can't think this dude actually COULD do something if they even wanted to

That said I do like the role MC has so far! And I'm very interested in what u plan to do with this story so, thanks for sharing it!

skskks I really like the simple idea that Mc seems like a cat who's freaked out by everything, always flinching and almost having a heart attack or getting excited about anything new that comes their way (i.e. pretty much everything).

Levi is a bit stubborn, so as much as they can see that Mc is completely harmless, they still have a certain wariness simply because they're a demon…and they don't like demons, at all…

About bye MC's name, I was wondering if there could be any references to choose from in game? Since MC straight up doesn't have a name and is EXTREMELY sheltered, I can't imagine they'd have many options to consider

Personally, mainly cuz I'm bad at naming character, I called mine Star, since the first thing they ever saw outside was the night sky

A bicolor(black and white) cat called Felix (M). The oldest one and more attached to César.(12 yrs old)

A white one called Snow (M), who loves to judge people just like his owner.(5 yrs old)

A gray one called Gretha (F) that likes to hunt bugs around the garden.(4 yrs old)

Another bicolor one called Perry (M) who enjoys sleeping on César's lap. (4 yrs old)

A black one called Nova (F) that is always hidden is random places around the manor(and you'll have options to search for her in the chapters, just a silly option to have more moments wiith César if you want ksksks). (2 Yyrs old)

A ginger one called Meg (F) the youngest of the cats, is constantly playing with her owner's long hair.(5 months old)
