"Well, thank you.  I’d hope that you like it,” she laughs, and wonders where the sudden compliment materialized from.  To be honest, she’s never been too fond of it herself, but it’s never been something to dwell on—-a beautiful woman she may be, but vanity is not a trait that inhabits her.  And for as long as she’s been herself, it never has.

He grins, her laughter and flushed cheeks making his chest tighten, and you can know someone for decades, but it says a lot about a relationship when they can still make you feel like that.

"How much do you like it, then?”  she asks him, a hand on her hip, and a mock demand that couldn’t keep a straight face if she tried.

He cranes over her,  they’re a hair’s breadth away from one another, and she is holding back a fit of giggles because he has the most serious look on his face as they stare at one another in close proximity.

"Quite a bit—-"

"If that answers your question—-"

"We might be here a while—-"

Peck.  Peck.  Peck.

"If I am to properly express my fondness—-"

Peck.

Truth be told, he had been looking for an excuse to do just that.

day 2: accusation

day 1: beginning

the first meeting. a first, and lasting, impression. inspired from some fic i read, but can’t for the life of me recall the name of, but kaidan automatically blames himself, because usually when this happens from his end, and while he’s been informed and is perfectly aware that the normandy’s new xo is a fellow biotic, I mean, it’s commander shepard, but he’s so used to being the one responsible, or rather the only biotic in the exchange of shaking hands usually, he just automatically assumes it’s his fault. ps for the record it’s her fault but shhhh. how do you even draw a static biotic shock omg 

also, these aren’t going to be completed daily, for obvious reasons, but I hope to finish a few weekly, and thus eventually finish all 30 prompts, so here goes.
