A guide to designing wheelchair using characters!

I hope this helps anyone who's trying to design their oc using a wheelchair, it's not a complete guide but I tried my best! deffo do more research if you're writing them as a character

Introducing Iris ( she/her ), the poisonous flower and Moonstone ( genderfluid- she/he/they/them ), the two faced Lemur.

Wherever they go, it’s a sight to see!

I was struggling with their designs and everything but I’m very happy that I finally get to show them off! 😭They are sworn siblings and if my mind will let me, I’ll make some comics with them and their story! Both of them originated from LO Oc’s.

Moonstone is a Ring-tailed Lemur but I’m not to sure what Iris is or what her inspiration was.

Well what if a “ What if “ situation became a reality? Well then, Azure has a champion.

I’m just a bit busy with my commissions on my Instagram and with observing all of the things going on in the Lmk community both on Twitter and Tumblr. The longer that I’m here the more questions I have though-

Like, do Shadowpeach shippers know that Swk and Mac are supposed to be brothers? Am I just wrong on that? Because that’s a reason why I don’t ship those two. But Sky still sees them both as dads or close father figures, one closer than the other but still. What are all of those names? Are they ships or can they just mean friendship or family dynamics? And I have many more that maybe one day I’ll get answers to-

Because I’ve been slowly pulling my girlfriend in slowly and I wanna answer questions- :,)

If Azure is able to control the scroll and trap people inside, that means he could control the curse too. Maybe? Since he is basically moving around freely in there and going in and out of it and it didn’t seem to react to him. So he could get a hold of the ink inside too.

Does that mean that he could control Sky as well- After all they are infected by the same ink. It’s basically in their blood and veins. AND on their body-

That is openings up some concerning possibilities.

I had a lot of cool designs in mind for their eyes but ended up scrapping them and went with something more similar instead which I will show eventual 😌

Because I have made a monkey character and I’m mostly scared that their backstory won’t be good and that I will make a fool out of myself with their name so don’t be afraid to correct me once I post them-

reminder to please please not draw any LMK characters with yellow skin unless specifically drawn in full LEGO style

i dont want to sound callous bc i know theres new people in the fandom who might not have known, but this has been a problem since the very start, giving chinese people yellow skin is a racist stereotype and not something that can be overlooked. chinese people have repeatedly asked the lmk fandom to avoid coloring them yellow, or a heavily yellowed skin tone, but its still common

adding a link to shiroxix's skin pallet as a ref you can use to help if youre unsure, and heres a ref i made from colors ive used if anyone would like to use it, (no credit needed)

also! its important to take into account the rest of the tones in your picture when color picking, for example, if the rest of the picture is very vibrant, a brighter and more saturated tone will match, but on a piece with more muted tones the same color could look too yellow

I’m going to ramble a little bit because it’s late at night and you sometimes discover some new things at 1 a.m while attempting to animate.

I’ve been watching Monkey Kid’s English dub since the beginning and I didn’t know that there was even a dub in my language. I knew about German, but not Hungarian. Since I like to compare the voices in these three languages, I looked it up.

And I’m a bit confused on why we did what we did- The voices to my ears at least sound so extremely off-

Like for example, Mk sounds older than he’s supposed to and Swk his voice doesn’t exactly fit him in Hungarian in my opinioon. The dialogue and everything are pretty cool and on point. No complaints there actually. But the voice and sometimes the delivery? I’m not making fun of the voice actors or anything. They are just doing their job ofc.

So if anyone is interested in it, I can provide some clips from YouTube.

Anyways, I’ll be off to the shadow side of the moon now and come back from the dead once in a while with more art or rambling.

At first, Sky with Macaque’s scar and role was a joke.

But I don’t think it’s a joke anymore- 😭

If it does happen however, it would come later

Didn’t think that I’d post THIS soon but well-

This is gonna be a lot to read because I don’t know how and when I will be able to explain everything and if I’ll have the motivation to make comics.

✨ Sky ✨

General information on them:

Sneak peak into their story:

Sky was infected due to the Ink being able to get into their blood through open wounds on their fingers. Macaque, training Bai He hears chaos happening in the city and investigates, finding Sky causing havoc all around. Just wanting comfort while accidentally absorbing people and things they touched ( like the ink shown in the episodes ).

Originally, they were supposed to be killed off or be contained in the scroll since the ink is way to dangerous to be let out. Since Sun Wukong isn’t there to train and help them and Mac has somewhat similar powers he agrees to take them in as a second appearance. But Macaque warms up to them and because he had a taste of death himself he wouldn’t want one of his “ adoptive kids” to meet the same fate. So Sky gets to live and slowly gets a hang of their powers after many, MANY hours of training and failing.

Extra Info:

Only lets those very lose to them call them by their real name and call her “she”.

Spends most of their time at Macaque’s place in their Room with Bai ( since they share a room ), but enjoys being at Flower Fruit Mountain whenever they can sneak in

Loves to lurk around and watch/ listen to people and observe things in general to draw them.

Sees Macaque as a worried father figure while Swk is a more leaned back “ Head first into danger” type to them ( just like MK ), enjoys the entire Family’s company regardless.

Loves Tea, music, art, history and cooking. But despite that, they don’t have to many connections to Tang, Pigsy, Mei or Sandy ( except the occasional therapy sessions with him )

Constantly plotting some chaos with their little sister Bai while they and Mk have a more difficult relationship. Regardless, they still see eachother as siblings.

Has a true form where they have 6 arms but barely taps enough into their powers to bring it out.

Macaque is not a fan of their taste in music at all since it hurts his ears but tolerates it sometimes for them
