I'm a french guy ( if could excuse me for the bad english incoming ^^' )

I had see many poston this subreddit  and this my first on reddit .

I feel every post about the fact that porn destroys lifes especially womens .

Pornography but masculinity too had traumatised me, you see my story with bad sexuality.. begin at the age of 6 when one member of my family abused me sexually , time passes and like all the victim of sexual abused i forget or denied this memory.

After that my life is surrounded by family issues , my father ( a perfect pervert narcissist that Lundy Bandcroft had encountered in is book "Why does he do that") cheated and beat my mom , manipulate me and threaten me , try to make me believe all the misogynist cliché on women and sexuality ...

Growing up I becoming more and more a men .. ( Sexist .. misogynist .. ) meanwhile my father becoming more and more manipulative violent threatening ... and i fall deeper in this horror show that sexualised and dominate women that is Pornography .. ( the surprising thing about this part is that I discovered talking with other men and later with my therapist that I didnt watch this like other , I was punishing myself watching this knowing perfectly what women endured , and Hated myself everyday for that ..) . After getting rid of my father and expluse him away from my mom i was feeling better , and definitly stop watching porn.

But 2 years ago I moved on with my girlfriend , told her about all my problems and the fact that I dont watch porn anymore. when I moved on I had becoming to had flashback from this porn that I watched , becoming more and more unberable ! After trying to fix this by myself to try not being a mental an emotional charge for my girlfriend , I reach a point where it was hurting not only me but her ... And after a long conversation I had this nigtmare and remenbered my abused .

ATM I follow a therapist and I suffer again from this ptsd from my abuse and porn . My point of all my personal story is that not only porn but masculinity can detroys your life , and as men I think we have to fight it .

This video depicts the moment Sir Nicholas Winton realises he is in the same room as hundreds of Jewish people he saved as children during the Holocaust. While appearing on the TV show, “That’s Life!” the host Esther Rantzen asked the audience: “May I ask, is there anyone in our audience tonight who owes their life to Nicholas Winton? If so, could you stand up, please?” To Winton’s shock, the entire audience stood up.

Winton was responsible for organising eight trains full of children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia to London in 1939. While supporters in Britain were working to get Jewish intellectuals and communists out of Czechoslovakia, nobody was attempting to save the children so Winton took it on himself. Once Winston secured their escape, he travelled to Britain where he persuaded British officials to accept the children as long as foster homes were found. In all, Winton saved the lives of 669 children. He was not recognised for his achievements until 60 years later because he kept quiet about his exploits. In 2003, he received a knighthood from the queen for his services to humanity.

do u think that mai knew where she ever really stood w/ ty lee before the incident at the boiling rock… or did she always assume, out of bitterness perhaps, out of cynicism, or envy, that she would always be second-best to azula, that no matter how much ty lee loved her, she would always prioritize azula. and her face of utter shock when she realizes that that’s not the case, that it never was…. 

in that moment, ty lee is choosing mai. neither azula nor mai remotely anticipated that. they’re both utterly flabbergasted by this turn of events. ty lee always keeps her cards close to her chest—so close, in fact, that people don’t even assume she’s hiding anything at all. but this moment is so revealing. it’s a brazen declaration of love.
