Orange

My redesign take on Orange,

I looked on the rainbow friends wiki page and it states that orange is a baryonyx so I drew him a more malnourished theropod-like body and the Dino’s ironic heavy claw on the hands, as well as scutes on the back and keeping his stubby tail (he probably ate it or something?)

My autistic ass take on the minecraft movie [MAJOR SPOILERS]

Yall are dramatic, this movie isn't bad it's mid at worst. And people saying it isn't funny are allergic to joy.

Now onto the autism;

The things I didn't like:

-At the beginning of the movie they establish that piglin become zombified when they enter the overworld, then we see them not zombified in the overworld during the attack on the village, then they change thier mind again near the end of the movie and decide piglins zombifie in sunlight, but they didn't when they were attacking the village??

-the swift shoes iron golem, seriously wtf was that, just use potions on an iron golem what is that fckin thing??

-Natalie tames Steve's dog?? That... is not how minecraft works.

-Endermen being prominent in mansions? Like no? They can spawn in them but they arnt loot protectors?? And it getting aggressive before it's looked at??

-Steve has 2 elytra but only 1 enderpearl? How do you manage that.

-the villager jennifer coolidge dates makes me uncomfortable. Don't look at me like that 🤢 (may just be the asexuality)

-they establish iron golems do not attack unless provoked literally in the scene, piglin shoots golem, golem kills piglin, but then all the golem attack all the piglins who have not attacked???

-same as the last point but with the dogs, she never hit any piglins and none of them hit her so the dogs shouldn't be attacking

-4 enchanted bow spider-jockie??? The odds.

-doors in mansion, Evokers and Vindictators can't open the door?

-the activator rails. They had mumbo on standby wtf man.

-weirdly passive creepers, they just kinda stood there and only blew up when hit.

I know these are kinda nitpicky, but I did say this is an autistic take 🤷‍♂️

Now some things I liked/loved:

-the knife joke at the end was fucking hilarious, how has no one else mentioned this in their reviews?

-the villager being voiced by Matt Berry was also fucking funny.

-the Alex scene post-credit was kinda cute

-Jack Black was a real cutie patootie in this movie ngl

-i thought the 69 was a joke that you all were making and it wasn't actually in the movie. You weren't joking. They 69ed.

-the end gave old Jack Black movie vibes and I fuck with that

-it feels like there wasnt a script in this movie and that they just gave them a general story layout and Jack Black just ran with it.

-animation is WAY better in the actual movie than in the trailers, the movement is very well animated(except the llama)

-Jack Black and Aqua man were gay as hell

-kid built an entire fucking watch tower while they were being attacked by a hord of zombies 💀 priorities my guy, but great first build 👏

-ghast were cute

-iron golems were rad

-the villain is surprisingly sweet if you pay attention, she claims to be evil but knows all her subordinates names, very cute(also she's so fucking funny)

Overall:

Should have been fully animated, the greenscreen takes you out of it alot, pacing isn't great, and they should have leaned more into minecraft dungeons instead of trying to mix minecraft dungeons and minecraft, they are very different games and dont mesh well. However, it was very funny and well animated. Jack Black and Aqua man stood out very well and made the movie enjoyable, don't remember a single scene about the other 3 they were very uninteresting.

The worst part of the Minecraft movie is the mistreatment of Ghasts. They don't deserve this. 😭

Not ashamed to say I cried genuine tears when all those Ghasts fucking exploded and nobody gave a shit

Rainbow friends redesigns

A couple of days (or weeks) ago I played rainbow friends 2 on Roblox and decided “hey why not draw them in your style and liking” so that’s what I did.

Both Blue and Green have a faded look cuz they were created in the late 1990s and the game is probably set during the mid or late 2010s years of isolation from the world has left most of the rfs looking least lively from their cartoonish depictions,

closely you can see faint scarring on them, I’m undecided whether these were caused by the staff who had to handle them or from unfortunate people in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Blue doesn’t look that much different from the game design other than I coloured his crown a bit darker to give it a rusted gold look,

also given him a single bloodshot eye and a red button to match, as well as a big scar where the button is to make it more ominous to what happened to it.

For Green I did his eyes on the sides of the head and actual eyes (like the rest of the friends) instead of the googly eyes he has in game, and he has a forked tongue similar to snakes and monitor lizards, that use their tongue to detect scents and track prey (which would be cool for green to have and use).
