The claim that Sasuke is a misogynist is so unfounded it's not even funny.
Rejecting Sakura's romantic advances is not misogyny. This is something that seems very difficult for many to understand.
Telling Sakura that instead of constantly harassing him with date requests she should train so she could actually contribute to their team is not misogyny. It's the truth.
Fighting back when Sakura is trying to assassinate him is not misogyny. He has fought against other men too, and he would have fought if a man came to assassinate him instead.
Not caring about Sakura's business during the war arc is not misogyny. He didn't care for Kakashi's either.
Calling Sakura annoying when she is disrespecting Naruto, her own family, Sasuke's family/clan or Sasuke's goals is not misogyny. Even the genjutsu is not, because he did it due to her ignorance, not because she's a girl.
Not liking it and telling them to get off of him when Sakura and Karin jump on him and harass him despite his protests is not misogyny.
Sakura suffering because of her feelings for Sasuke is not misogyny from Sasuke nor his fault in any way, she's responsible for her own feelings.
The only person Sasuke ever bowed to (while using honorifics) was an elderly woman. Said elderly woman just wasn't annoying or ignorant like Sakura. He also acknowledged Karin as a strong kunoichi, despite her less flattering actions towards him.

The more the jjk manga goes on the more obvious it is that Gege wrote the story solely for the Japanese audience. There is so much Japanese wordplay, language nuances (that need further clarification if you want the full understanding of the text), and everything revolves around Buddhism on top of it all. I doubt he expected the international success either.
English speaking fandom reacts negatively to some of his choices in the writing compared to the Japanese fandom. I also recently came across one chinese and one vietnamese person both say along the lines of "Gege could give less of a fuck what makes Americans upset, this story wasn't written for them". I think it referred both to the storyline as well as the elements that American readers see as problematic...
Naturally, not all Americans think the same way, there are some who very much enjoy everything Gege dishes out. But generally speaking there is a notable difference in the reactions between the fandoms.

Why is every translation of the new jjk chapter bad in some way lmao
The official made a mistake claiming Yuji got Malevolent Shrine (lol) but the other ones are not the best either.
Anyway, Sukuna's mother was starving so Sukuna ate his twin in the womb so he wouldn't starve to death.
The way Sukuna refers to his mother is "foolish mother" but it's not hostile or insulting from what I understood. As in I saw people who are fluent in Japanese say he is not being insulting towards his mother, which I think is interesting. Hopefully Gege will give us more information in the next chapter.

What do you think of Mikasa as a character? Do you think she's like Sakura, better than her, or worse? Some ppl say she's way better and others say she isn't a good female character all bc she's actually involved more in the story and her personality doesn't come off as annoying right off the bat. I personally definately like her more than Sakura but I also agree with ppl when they say a female character isn't good just bc she's strong and useful. And then there's both their characters revolving around a guy, which I also think is less evident with Mikasa, and not as annoying.
She's definitely way better than Sakura. First of all she's more useful and carries herself with more dignity. She also has a more likeable personality. I mean a character doesn't have to be likeable but they need to at least own their unlikeability, like Mahito.
I understand though when people say she's boring. She doesn't really have her own goals, and the fact her relationship with Eren is rather one-sided is frustrating to many people because majority of her character revolves around him. But she's not a terrible character by any means. Her fixation on Eren also makes sense and isn't just based on him being hot or something.

Did you see that post where someone here on Tumblr posted a screenshot of a Reddit post with a dudebro saying he always sees fights in the fandom over NaruHina vs NaruSaku but he can't take either seriously bc of NaruSasu? Or, in his words, "bc of his obsession with Sasuke"...? I thought it was hilarious, that he came so close to getting the point but missed. But when I saw the screenshots of the comments all agreeing and someone said "time for female Sasuke" I got kinda mad. Why is everyone so heteronormative and homophobic 🙄 it's like impossible for these ppl to understand that maybe someone just likes someone of their own gender for once. It's all hilarious and annoying and sad. But I love how it low-key proves NaruSasu canon af tho so yay lol
It is sad but not surprising. There is actually quite a lot of men who think Sasuke should have been a female character. They can't support a gay ship but they can see it makes sense.
NH vs NRSK fights were indeed funny because both girls got constantly sidelined for Naruto's Sasuke obsession. And the shippers acted like either of the girls was the love of his life. Kage Summit arc made both ship fandoms mad for a reason because Kishi really drived home what his bias has always been.
And SS on twitter insist Naruto and Sasuke were written as brothers XD They are that blind, even many straight men get Kishi was writing gay...

I've been in many fandoms and by far the most one i didn't like is the naruto fandom not because of toxicity (it exists in every fandom) but because the majority of them don't understand the story and the characters like?? Ain't no way fans think that sasuke, who is one of the best written characters in the manga, sucks? Or how sakura and hinata have many aggressive fans even though they are badly written, why do they even have fans to begin with? And the shipping wars 😩 There are also many other issues but of course you know them since you've seen them. I really just can't take in how the comprehension skills are absent in this fandom, did they even like the anime?
Too much projection and self inserting. Sasuke is someone they don't relate with, so they can't understand him. They don't like his choices and actions because it distrupts the tropes they like (found family for example) and thus it makes them angry at him.
Sakura and Hinata are female characters whose only interest is chasing a boy and being self centered, so naturally they attract women who are only concerned about something like that. They also attract men who think ideal woman is a doormat to their man. But the more we get better female characters in shonen, the more embarrassing they look in comparison.
They like their own interpretation of the series that's for sure. They missed a lot of points Kishimoto was trying to make.

I don't know how to phrase this properly but I've been thinking of the Yin having the characteristic of passivity and does that really apply to Sasuke? He seems to take a lot of action for someone who'd be described that way. I've seen someone once explain it as him needing to *react* to events rather then taking action just because but that is some rather untraditional passivity. In case of interactions with other characters though it makes sense. Sorry if it's a stupid question
It's not a stupid question but you are thinking about this too hard. It's mostly about Naruto and Sasuke's dynamics with each other, and in the end everyone has a bit of yang and yin in them. Being yin doesn't mean you just passively sit on your ass and do nothing else.

I swear jjk fans are the only shonen fans that are mad the villain is strong af now they are saying Sukuna is loser and fraud again because he is getting some damage from Yuji in a "fair fight".
I guess every sorcerer you can find ganging up on him for the past 20 or so chapters is "fair" to these people 😭
I promise your dick won't shrink in size if you admit Sukuna is strong. LOL even Naruto fans could admit Madara is strong. You're more insecure than Naruto fans, think about that for a moment.

Hello, I hope you're doing well. You're one of my favourite blogs and i hope you never leave tumblr.
Genuine question, what is it about Naruto the series that make people get on so absurd and obnoxious? I'm not even referring to ss or nh fans, in every fandom of Naruto. Naruto fans and Sasuke fans (outside of the sns ship), Itachi fans, Sakura fans, Hinata fans, fans of some problematic ships, sasunaru/narusasu fans. The manga will say something like "The sky is blue". And those fan's logic will interpret is as "The sky is red.... also it's not the sky but the ground." Basically Interpreting the context and text as everything BUT how the author meant it to be understood. How can the text and context of the manga mean anything else then what it's meant to mean?
I know other fandoms can be obnoxious but it doesn't beat the level of absurdity in the Naruto fandom. What is it about Naruto that makes people behave in this way?
I do think there are other series fandoms that reach the level of absurdity that Naruto fandom has. Even snk and jjk fandom has bizarre behaviour. Harassing the staff, harassing other fans, saying the author deserves to die or suffer, stanning the characters in the most obnoxious way possible, having terrible misinterpretations of the source material... they have it all.
Look at Yuji, he's a sweet boy, yet even he has some terrible stans out there. Some shippers who like him as bottom will harass everyone who doesn't agree on twitter and in general hate on other characters, especially Megumi. And it's all just because they relate to Yuji or whatever. So they misinterpret him and act like everything needs to be about him. And some dudebros do the same, just in a different way. They think Megumi should die, some of them think Yuta is a bum who should die and so on. Because everything needs to be about THEIR fave. Some Gojo stans harass people who like Sukuna and attack them if they even dare to write analysis on Sukuna's character. Plenty of snk fans are disgusting too, like the way some people talk about Historia or Mikasa is gross. The way people misinterpret the characters to death is rampant in that fandom as well.
Itachi stans (the specific ones) can be so damn corny I don't even bother talking about them. Like they're the type who would put Senya as bg music on a video with Kafka quotes or some shit and act like they're deep. What's truly bizarre are the Sakura stans and Hinata stans, because neither of those two are impressive or likeable, so it's baffling why they have such a dedicated fanbase. Kishimoto intentionally made them unlikeable. Sakura is supposed to represent a shallow and self centered person who acts like they're a big deal and bites more than they can chew while getting her ass handed out to her constantly. She's supposed to be a laughing stock. Hinata is supposed to be a wallflower who has nothing else in her head except a boy who doesn't pay much attention to her. And yet. Their stans act like these are the most admirable characters in fiction... lol.
Shonen series tend to be "relatable" to a degree so it attracts people who need to make everything about themselves and interpret things to suit their own preferred view. Fans also tend to get angry at the author if the series doesn't follow the typical found family/mc triumphs all the time/other cliche formulas. Because those are what the readers find relatable. They're not that inclined to give chance to a different type of experience. Hence why Kage arc was so hated by many when it came out, and why Pain arc was so loved.

why did naruto tell kakashi about his promise to sakura before the battle with sasuke? and is it possible to conclude from his words that he wanted sasuke to be in konoha? it just looks like naruto wanted to help sasuke just because of the promise, although before that he said that this was not the case.
He's just trying to cheer everyone up, he already told Sakura it got nothing to do with the promise.
He's mc, he needs to uplift the air.

Any word on if Bort will be ending soon?
Not that I know of, I only remember Ikemoto talking about keeping the series under 30 volumes at least, but no specific volume number.

There are a lot of Pro-Sasuke's who are so pro-sasuke that they also become anti-naruto and fail to see how absolutely attached to Naruto Sasuke is. If Shippuden had been from Sasuke's POV, I think he would've thought about Naruto just as much as Naruto thought about them. The whole manga is about their souls being tied together by fate and chance. It's so weird to me to say you love his character so much but deny his main bond...
I don't really get it either, Naruto makes Sasuke happy. I mean I can understand the frustration when it comes to Sasuke getting the shorter end of the stick (seemingly) at the end but Naruto still cares about Sasuke so much and vice versa, it's undeniable.
