Hello Mao! How are you? This is the first request I've made since I started following you, and since you're the only one who writes about platonic yanderes that I like, if it's possible to ask you for a headcanon of the Katahara family x a silent teenage reader + the bodyguards. Only if possible, I don't want to bother you. 😘 I love you 💖 drink water 💧
Yes sure!! :3 also thank you so much!!!
Being the youngest in the Katahara Family! •(◐﹏◐)•

Metsudo
Your extremely overprotective and loving father. He does everything he can to protect you. No matter how old you get, he still lovingly refers to you as his "little one" and "the baby of the family." Oh, how much he hates the thought of you growing up and becoming independent. He knows it's only natural - it happened with his other children as well, but it wasn't as hard for him to handle.
Retsudo
People believe he's an overprotective brother to Sayaka, but when it comes to you he's practically overbearing. Your brother isn't only your personal bodyguard but can also be controlling at times. He does a background check on anyone you interact with and never lets you go outside alone. Also, he might get a heart attack if you mention having a crush on anyone.
Sayaka
She tends to act more like a mother than a sister sometimes. She isn't as overbearing as your brother, but isn't fond of the idea of you becoming independent just like your father. All she sees when she looks at you is the tiny child that always wanted to play dress-up with her pretty clothes.
Agito
He's just as quiet as you. In some way, he sees a part of his younger self in you. Even without your father's instructions, Agito always makes sure to keep an eye on you. He couldn't forgive himself or look in Metsudo's face ever again if anything happened to you.
Omori
He's practically your second father. Since Metsudo is often busy, Omori ends up accompanying you to things like school events, shopping, concerts - anything a teenager would typically do with their father. He tries not to show how fond he is of you, since he views it as wrong to feel so fatherly about his master's child.
Takayama
Similar to Omori, Takayama's feelings towards you are almost fatherly. In some way, you're the child he never had. He watched you grow up, celebrated milestones with your family and was always there to protect you.

Can I request reader cooking for sanji (you can pick if they're in a qpr or in a romantic relationship) but it doesn't turn out very well so reader is frustrated but then sanji teaches them 👉👈
(aka, me who can't cook vs you teaching me how to cook so I won't live from sandwiches)
omg yes <3
Cooking with Sanji! (。’▽’。)♡
type: established relationship (queerplatonic/romantic, your choice!)
tags: gn!reader x Sanji, gentle & soft Sanji, fluff, Luffy mentioned
Sanji's chin rests on your shoulder, his hand placed on yours, gently helping to guide the knife as you cut a block of tofu into small, perfect cubes.
In the background Luffy can be heard, devouring the failed dish you made earlier. For once you wanted to cook something for Sanji - a simple stir fry - to surprise him. And surprised he was, despite the awful taste the food left in his mouth. He appreciated the gesture. He felt as if he fell for you even harder when you put the plate in front of him; if that's even possible, considering how over the moon he already is for you.
Sanji couldn't get more than two bites found, but being the human trashcan he is, Luffy happily offered to eat the leftovers. You were frustrated at how bad the food turned out and almost cried because you 'wasted' perfectly fine ingredients (luckily Luffy will eat anything as long as it's edible - and even that is optional criteria.)
Your boyfriend then offered to teach you how to cook a simple stir fry. And that's how you ended up in your current position.
Everything you do is guided by Sanji's gentle hands, always accompanied with reassurance about how great you're doing. Technically you don't need him to guide you so detailed. Especially since your usual weapon of choice would be a dagger; knives aren't a complicated thing for you to handle. Sanji is aware of that. He isn't belittling you, he isn't afraid that you might hurt yourself either.
As a cook, his hands are extremely precious to him. Using them to guide you is a subtle way of saying "I love you" and "Thank you."

Do a Kenzo one where you're his partner/lover... PLS
HELL YEAH!!!!!
Dating Kenzo! ٩꒰・ัε・ั ꒱۶
type: romantic
tags: gn!reader x Kenzo Yamashita
You and Kenzo were classmates when he still went to school. You were the only one who was fascinated by his odd interests
You kind of grew apart when he became a shut-in and your life after graduating high school was quite stressful as well
The first thing he did after finally leaving the house after years was contacting you and asked to meet up
What was intended to be a simple platonic meeting to catch up on life felt much more like a date, due to repressed romantic feelings you had for each other as teenagers
There wasn't a specific point when you started dating. You two met up more often, each time becoming more like an actual date and more explicitly romantic
Kenzo isn't very verbal when it comes to expressing affection. In fact, the compliments he makes always sound like he's observing some sort of scientific experiment
You love it, though. It sounds awkward to others but to you it's adorable
Sometimes he gets insecure and needs reassurance that you won't grow apart again. He doesn't want to lose you
He's clingy but in a subtle way. Holding your hand, intertwining legs, anything he can do to not only touch you, but also hold onto you

Good news. [Chapter 6]
previous chapter
synopsis: An unexpected call from Doflamingo and a new plan that sounds too good to be true.
tags: gn!child!reader & Corazon & Law, angst
Awoken by a familiar voice you haven’t heard in months, you quickly sit up to see Law and Corazon staring at a transponder snail.
“Is that you… Corazon?” Doflamingo’s voice echoes from the small creature. “It’s been half a year since you three jumped ship… Are Law and (Y/N) there with you?”
Corazon replies by tapping his finger, as his brother is still unaware that he isn’t actually mute.
With your mind still tired and the exhaustion from the previous days of travel, you don’t really understand much of Doflamingo’s rambling. You only pick up something about a Devil Fruit, since Law and Corazon are shocked by the new information.
“I need my most trusted man to eat it, given the nature of its properties. And that man is you, Corazon.” Doflamingo goes on, not bothering to wait for any responses. “Then you can heal Law’s disease.”
And that’s what really gets your attention. Law can be healed? By Corazon?
“Forget about the doctors, we can cure your disease!” Corazon cheers excitedly once the call ends. He lifts Law up into the air, startling the young boy in the process. “You’re the perfect person for the Op-Op Fruit! You have all the medical knowledge for it!”
“But… Doflamingo said you should eat it…” Law mumbles while somehow escaping out of Corazon’s grip and falling back onto the ground in the process.
“Law… cured?” You ask, as if afraid this is nothing more than a dream.
“Huh, you’re awake? You heard all that?” Corazon’s eyes widen slightly, then walks towards where you’re sitting and kneels down to be at least a bit closer to your height. The tall man ruffles your hair, holding himself back from picking you up like he just did with Law. “Yes, we finally have a way to cure Law! All we need to do is get the Op-Op Fruit.”
“But Doflamingo said you should eat it!” Law repeats, this time a little louder.
Corazon shakes his head. “That’s because my brother doesn’t know I already ate a Devil Fruit. If I ate a second one, I’d die. Besides, you have way more medical knowledge than I do.”
Still not convinced by the whole thing, Law opens his mouth to protest again, but then Corazon speaks up once more.
“None of us will be able to return to the family. By now my brother must know that I’ve betrayed him. But just as I promised, I will provide a safe life somewhere else for you two, okay?”
Silence. Law and you both knew you’d never return to the Donquixote Family, but never felt real. Now that the end of this journey seems close enough to grab, the realization sets in.
Breaking the silence, Corazon gestures for Law to come closer so he can pull both him and you into an embrace.
“There’s another reason my brother wants me to eat the fruit…” Corazon begins to explain, his grip tightening slightly. “He knows I can’t refuse him, that’s why he wants me to use the Op-Op Fruit’s powers to give him eternal life. And… that’d mean I’d have to sacrifice myself for him.”
Sacrifice.
The word causes you to tense up while an emptiness that had so long been gone returns in your eyes.
“(Y/N)? What’s wrong?” Corazon asks as soon as he notices something is wrong with you. “Don’t worry, okay? We’ll get the Op-Op Fruit. I won’t die, Law won’t die. We’ll all be okay, I promise.”

Don't lose hope. [Chapter 5]
previous chapter
synopsis: Corazon's attempts to help Law go into nowhere, but he's not willing to give up.
tag: gn!child!reader & Corazon & Law, angst
Another island, another hospital, another hopeful gaze in Corazon’s eyes. No matter how many doctors had declined to treat Law, no matter how many times the World Government was called after the doctors found out about Law’s past - Corazon never gave up. He’d grab you and Law, each with one hand, and start sailing to the next island. While Law himself had long given up and accepted how short his life would be, Corazon refused to accept what fate was dooming to bring. It’s been months since he had left his brother’s crew. Each single day was spent with trying to find doctors for Law and figuring out how life would continue once the young boy would be cured. Corazon always envisioned changing his, Law’s and your identities and moving to a remote island where he’d raise you and Law far away from his brother’s influence. Sometimes he’d even start talking about all sorts of fake backstories for your new identities and the things he’d tell the people once he’d find a stable home for your little family.
While Law got more and more frustrated with each hospital visit, you began behaving more like a child your age typically would. You’d ask Law to play, try to catch bugs and what’s most important to Corazon: You smiled and laughed. You still weren’t much of a talker, but that was okay.
Despite the more than unconventional circumstances and lack of a stable home, it was obvious how your behaviour changed without Doflamingo’s influence - or just in general, without being constantly surrounded by pirates and crime.
After once again being denied treatment at another hospital, Corazon carries Law on his back and you in his arms, hurrying away from anyone who might want to harm you.
“The next hospital’s gonna help.” The tall man mumbles while his steps speed up. “We’re close to finding a cure, I promise!”
“No one wants to help me, I’ve told you so many times!” Law protests despite knowing Corazon wouldn’t even give up if he had talked to literally every single medic in existence.
“We’re not giving up!” Corazon’s voice turns more stern. “Next time’s the charm! I’m not letting you die!”
“B-but I’m getting worse…”
“And that’s exactly why we’re not giving up!”
The back and forth stopped, although you aren’t sure if Law just didn’t talk back anymore or if Corazon used his Devil Fruit powers to silence the young boy. Regardless, you’re glad they stopped yelling at each other. While not completely understanding the seriousness of Law’s illness, you’re well aware of how desperate Corazon is to find a cure.
They argumented almost daily while you quietly listened to Corazon repeating over and over how the next hospital will help Law, and Law would yell back about how no one would be willing to even look at him after finding out he has White Lead Disease, fearing he’d spread it to more people.
“I don’t want to do this anymore…” This time, Law’s voice is a lot more quiet and lacks its usual bite.
A deep sigh escapes Corazon’s mouth, as if slowly losing hope as well. But he can’t. As long as Law is still alive, there’s no giving up.

Change of plans. [chapter 4]
previous chapter
synopsis: Without being given enough time to think about your situation, Corazon takes you and Law on an unexpected journey.
tags: gn!child!reader & Corazon & Law, a bit of hurt/comfort, little angry Law
Nothing went as planned. Not at all.
Shortly after Corazon’s call with Sengoku he overheard Law talking to Baby 5 and Buffalo. One thing led to the other; with Law revealing he carries the name of the D. and having just learned about your past, Corazon made the decision to escape the Donquixote pirates with you and Law. The chaos of the pirate ship being attacked by a navy ship was just the perfect opportunity to get away.
“Where is (Y/N)?!” Doflamingo yells across the ship.
“Corazon and Law have disappeared as well!” Diamante adds just seconds later.
While majority of the crew is busy defending their ship against the navy and sailing away, Senor Pink makes a discovery. “Young master! I found this in Corazon’s hammock.”
He approaches Doflamingo with a letter, which the latter quickly grabs to read its contents. Eyes narrowing, gritted teeth and a heartbeat quickening from anger, Doflamingo balls his fists. “What does he think he’s doing?!”
Went to cure Law’s disease. Finding (Y/N)’s parents.
That’s what Corazon had written on the scrap of paper. The first part the truth, the second a lie. Still unsure on what exactly he’ll do with you, but determined to figure it out at least by the time Law’s disease is cured. Idealistically, Corazon would love to change your identities and move onto an island near Marine Headquarters, where he’d raise you and Law. Not necessarily into future members, but at least to give you a better upbringing.
“Answer that transponder snail!” Law yells at Corazon, who’s calmly leaning back with a book on his lap. “I bet it’s Doflamingo calling! Answer! I want to go back on the ship!”
Corazon doesn’t bother to reply or even acknowledge Law in the slightest. This angers the boy so much more, but due to being restrained by a rope there was nothing he could to besides yelling.
The transponder snail goes silent, but Law doesn’t. He turns his gaze to you, irritated by your lack of reaction to the absurdity of the situation. “Why can’t you at least open your mouth now?!”
The shrug you give in response doesn’t help to calm Law’s nerves.
Corazon goes on to have a call with Sengoku, explaining that he’ll leave his duty for a bit, for a “personal matter”.
“Who were you calling just now?!” Law raises his voice the second Corazon puts the speaker aside. “You said something about duty! Are you part of the navy?! Everyone involved with the World Government makes me sick!”
Corazon sighs and places a cigarette between his lips. “I’m not a navy man!” He stands up and gets closer to Law. With a huff, the tall man kneels down to make better eye contact with the boy. “I’m going to find a doctor who can cure your disease, and then we’ll find a place where you and (Y/N) can live in peace.”
“White Lead Disease can’t be cured, you idiot! Bring me back to Doflamingo’s ship!” With his face red from anger, Law continues struggling in hope to free himself from the ropes, but with no success.
Having head enough of Law’s tantrum, Corazon uses his Devil Fruit powers to silence him. As soon as that’s done he turns his attention to you, now speaking much softer. “You can trust me. I know this is all out of a sudden, but I promise I only want the best for you.”
“I want to go back. To family.” Your words almost break Corazon’s heart. A part of him regrets having brought you onto that ship in the first place, immediately followed by the guilt for even thinking leaving you to death would be the better option.
“Law and I are with you, we’re still your family.” Corazon attempts to reassure you. Seeing that you are calm, he releases you from your restraints lifts you onto his lap. He continues speaking to you, this time in a whisper. “I don’t like the idea of the life you’d have on that pirate ship, let me give you a better one."

The Sacrifices made for you. [chapter 3]
previous chapter
synopsis: While you somehow become Doflamingo's favourite, Corazon does what he can to find out about the past that's been erased from your mind.
type: platonic; familial
tags: gn!child!reader & Donquixote pirates, reader only appears a little bit in the beginning, very Corazon heavy
“Not so fast, brat.” Doflamingo uses his Devil Fruit powers to restrict you from running off of the ship. “You’re not allowed to leave on your own.”
You stare at him with pouty lips and puppydog eyes, but the sight only makes Doflamingo chuckle. All the others were running off of the ship, making their way into the nearest city to stock up on food and all sorts of supplies. Except for you; the captain always preferred having you in his sight. Out of all the brats in the crew he’s found himself particularly fond of you. Maybe because of how much he sees you as a blank canvas; someone he can raise entirely on his influence since you lack any memories of life before becoming part of the family. All you’d ever know would be what he taught you. You also turned out to be the most obedient of the kids; no chance you’d ever talk back or even tried to rebel against your captain. While Doflamingo puts his trust in his crew, a part of him is well aware of how easily children can rebel once they reach their teenage years.
“I’m going with you.” Doflamingo releases you from his strings.
He begins to walk, but soon notices how much you struggle to keep up with his pace. Your short legs just aren’t enough to match him. If you were any other kid, he wouldn’t have cared. He’d laugh at your struggles and walk away, leaving you to handle everything on your own. If you can’t keep up with his walking speed, why would he care about you anyways? But no, Doflamingo is different when it comes to you. He waits a few seconds for you to catch up to him, then bows down to pick you up into his arms.
You may have began to open up emotionally more and more as time goes by, you still struggle to speak. Everyone knows you can talk, technically. But most of you responses are non-verbal - possibly something you picked up from Corazon. Doflamingo doesn’t mind your lack of speaking; he prefers knowing you’d never talk back to him. Oh, what a well-behaved and obedient child you are for him. Nothing like the others, who did behave well most of the time but also let out their bratty attitude whenever they felt like it.
Each time he had just a few moments of privacy, Corazon would try to figure out your origins. You were barely able to remember your name when he had found you. The memory is ingrained into his mind; he can see the scene when he closes his eyes. The crew was taking a break on a remote island due to a storm raging that night. Corazon had walked away to call the marines, but was caught off guard when he saw a child walking through the rain. He saw you, the emptiness in your eyes immediately caught his attention. He didn’t even know this area of the island was inhabited, and he doubted there was anyone you belonged to. He could see it in your expression and the way you walked without a final destination you aimed to reach; you were lonely. He couldn’t bear to leave you there.
Corazon hoped to find your hometown and family with the help of the marines, but they had other priorities than figuring out the origins of a lost child. As harsh as that sounds, it was true; Corazon found you on an island unaffiliated with the World Government. It would be hard to find out anything. But Corazon didn’t give up, he was sure somewhere out there would be someone looking for you; someone who loved and missed you. His mind was set on reuniting you with your family so you wouldn’t have to grow up under the influence of pirates any longer than necessary.
And then the call came.
“We found information on the child.” Sengoku speaks into his transponder snail. “I doubt you’ll be happy about what we found out.”
A shiver runs down Corazon’s spine. This doesn’t sound good at all. Does this mean you have no family? Is there no one he can bring you back to?
“Tell me.” His voice steady, but hands fidgeting nervously. “I need to know.”
“The island you found the child on has suffered multiple cases of arson in various towns. A group of bandits terrorized people all over the island.” Sengoku begins to explain, each word of his causing Corazon to picture in his mind what those bandits could have done to you and your loved ones.
“We found out the bandits were a branch-off of some kind of cult.” Sengoku continues. “Details are unknown, but it is safe to assume they saw their attacks on the towns as some sort of sacrifice. The last one being one where they not only sacrificed the townspeople, but also themselves.”
“A cult?” Corazon mutters under his breath. He didn’t expect something like this at all. But what follows is even more of a shock.
“After we received the image of the child that you sent us, we have come to the conclusion this child is the one the cult worshipped.”
“What?”
“They might be the offspring of the creator of the original cult, but we don’t know any details. A ship was sent to the island but the crew was unable to find any survivors. All left was a letter mentioning the child’s name.”
“What now?” Corazon sighs in frustration. Your past ended up being nothing like what he had pictured. He’s glad you seem to not remember anything, but he’s afraid that the memories might return to you. Doflamingo would certainly use this for his advantages.
Corazon takes a deep breath before placing a cigarette between his lips. “I can’t just let them stay with my brother. I don’t want to imagine what would happen if they remembered their past and told my brother about it.”
A short moment of silence.
“What do you think would be the most likely scenario?” Sengoku asks, trying to weigh the possibilities on how to move on.
“I honestly don’t know. But considering the child was the sole survivor of those…” Corazon pauses to take a puff from his cigarette. “Sacrifices. My brother would try to find out more about this cult to use it to his advantage to keep (Y/N) under his control. I don’t know why exactly, but he treats them different from the other children in the crew. The others wanted to join and put effort into proving they earn their position. But this child… Each time my brother talks about them, it’s as if he’s talking about a puppet.”
Another moment of silence.
“I’ll inform you when I’ve figured out more.” The last words Corazon speaks into his transponder snail before ending the call. He needs to get you away, bring you somewhere safe. His gut feelings tell him chaos is about to occur.

A part of the Family. [chapter 2]
chapter 1
synopsis: Corazon and Doflamingo have different ideas of what your future should look like. Unintentionally, Doflamingo changes his plans to be closer to his brother's.
type: platonic; familial
tags: gn!child!reader & Donquixote pirates, found family, hurt/comfort, Doflamingo softens up a litte
a/n: chapter two already? Yep! My brain is overflowing with ideas for this series and it's so much fun to write ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა
It’s been months since the Donquixote pirates had taken you in. During this time you certainly proved yourself worthy to Doflamingo, although not necessarily because of your strength. Quite on the contrary; there’s much your combat abilities lack in. Doflamingo had seen the same thing in your eyes as Law; a hatred to the world that you didn’t quite feel, but your eyes expressed regardless. It didn’t take long for all of the crew to notice how numb you were to any feelings; the way your body and mind still solely focuses on surviving despite being provided with a - more or less - safe home.
To Doflamingo, your apathy to not only those around you, but also towards yourself, showed itself as a great opportunity. He could mold your personality into anything he wants as you grow up; raise you to only feel emotion when harming others; feed you a mighty Devil Fruit and turn you into a warrior that wouldn’t be affected by something ridiculous such as empathy. With this plan in action, Doflamingo keeps you away from the other children in the crew whenever possible. He doesn’t want you bonding with them, not even risking to let you feel anything but emptiness. If there’s anyone you should develop a bond with it should be him. The captain; the one who’s had control over your very life ever since the moment you were brought onto his ship.
Corazon on the other hand has intentions opposite from his brother’s. While unable to completely take you out of Doflamingo’s control, Corazon still tries his best to take as much of his brother’s influence away as possible. He’d encourage you to play with the other children, make Law read children’s books to you, try to make you laugh with silly faces - but he could rarely get more out of you than a little smile. Still, that was enough progress for him. One step at a time, he would think to himself each time you’d show only the hint of sympathy or help a crew member not because of an instruction, but because you wanted to.
“(Y/N) seems to open up.” Trebol says, observing you play a card game with Baby 5, Buffalo and Dellinger. “Do we send them back to their room?”
Doflamingo crosses his arms, letting out a huff. “No. I guess it was inevitable for them to become friends with the other brats.”
His eyes narrow as he watches your triumphant smile after winning this round. Unsure if this really was unavoidable or if you began opening up and showing emotion due to Corazon’s efforts, Doflamingo decided he could no longer only focus on his original plan. He’d have to let you become friends with the other children; he should let you become close to the rest of the crew - your family. While not part of his original plan, letting you bond with the others doesn’t have any negative sides. It does hold you back from remaining emotionless, it isn’t essential to raising you into the way he pictures your future.
With a few swift steps, Doflamingo walks towards the group of children gathered on the deck and kneels down right besides you.
“Having fun?” His large hand placed on your head, Doflamingo ruffles your hair firmly. After you respond with a nod, his head leans over you, giving him a good view of the cards in your small hands. He doesn’t continue commenting; he let’s you continue the game with the others. When you win yet another round, Doflamingo even praises you.
Law raises his head from the book he’s been reading. It’s odd, Doflamingo would usually take you away if he saw you playing with the other children. But now he’s even showing you some affection - as far as being affectionate goes for Doflamingo, at least. Praise coming from the captain was also rare, especially outside of battle.
“You want to play with us?” Baby 5 asks, holding out the stack of cards towards Doflamingo.
Although, he declines and straightens his posture. “No, I’ve got to talk with the officers.” He says, gesturing over to Trebol, Pica and Diamante, who’ve been observing the scenario quietly. Corazon doesn’t seem to be nearby, but it’s safe to assume he’s napping somewhere.
“My plans regarding (Y/N) have changed a little.” The captain announces to the group of men that have gathered in his office. “They started displaying more emotions lately. And they’ve gotten somewhat close with the other kids.”
“We can always force them back into their room, lock them in if needed.” Diamante suggests. “I doubt it’d take long for them to become numb again.”
Corazon quietly listens, although to those around him he seems absent-minded. He yawns and leans back in his chair, legs resting on the table.
Doflamingo pays no attention to his brother, instead looking at Diamante with a stern look. “I said I’ve changed my plans.”
“But young master, may I ask what made you change your mind?” Trebol inquires, careful to not agitate Doflamingo. Everyone knows he doesn’t appreciate his ideas and plan being questioned, and neither does he like explaining them more than needed.
A rare moment of Doflamingo hesitating follows. At first he considers dismissing Trebol or even ignoring him; he himself can barely figure out the reason. Diamante was right; it would be easy to force your mental state back into the way it was before. As the captain he could enforce stricter rules on you . He could lock you in a room, not allowing you to interact with the rest of the crew. If he wanted he could put you near a fire, or light up matches whenever you would even dare to show emotion. By now Corazon isn’t the only one who knows even the tiniest flame can trigger you, and Doflamingo hasn’t hesitated to use this as a way to discipline you more than once. So what is it holding him back now?
Rather than being a calculated decision, this one was instinctual. Even somebody as cruel as Doflamingo couldn’t bear to deprive you of any positive emotions after he saw how happy you looked after winning the card game. Something as unimportant and small as a game for kids, and you still grinned so proudly at your victory. That sight was the braking point for Doflamingo to change his plans. But that’s not what he wants to give the others as an explanation.
He gets up from his seat, voice as authoritative as ever. “I want their hatred towards the world to grow stronger. We can do that by letting them get close to everyone in the family; let them learn everyone’s reasons for being part of the crew. They’ll learn from hearing other’s experiences.”
While not a direct answer to Trebol’s question, it does provide enough reasoning for the officers to understand. Although, Corazon seems a bit skeptical regarding Doflamingo’s sudden change of mind. Not that he’d complain about it - on the contrary, he’s glad you get to grow out of your emotionless shell.

Welcome to the Donquixote Family. [chapter 1]
synopsis: The Donquixote pirates weren't new to taking children into their crew, but you were the first one brought onto the ship by Corazon.
type: platonic; familial
tags: gn!child!reader & Donquixote pirates, hurt/comfort, angst, found family
a/n: (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) very excited to start this series!! I don't know how many chapters this will consist of, but I've got many ideas yippie!!!
A city in flames. Agonizing screams. The metallic smell of blood.
And all you can do is cry. What else could a helpless child do in a situation like this?
You grew up in a lawless area; the World Government couldn't care less about your hometown. It wasn't of any importance to them. The lives of the people living there didn't have any value. You had no value.
Until they found you.
Your hometown was victim to arson. The very few survivors were either heavily injured, knowing they'd be dead in a matter of time anyways, or didn’t care about helping you.
The trauma brought by the fire erased all your memories; you don't even know if you had friends, parents, siblings, or anyone who cared for you at some point in your early life. The painful screams in your ears and smoke filling your lungs are the earliest memories you carry.
The second memory you recall is how you wandered into nowhere. Your reasons uncertain; looking for help or for death?
After that, there is nothing but a gap in the window of time.
No matter how hard you try, there is no recalling of the events that led to this. Regardless, that never mattered much to you. They had found you; rescued and made you part of their family.
The Donquixote Pirates.
“It's okay, you can eat that.” Baby 5's encouraging voice, her hands gently pushing a plate of rice towards you.
Rice. When was the last time you had rice, or any proper food in general? Despite that, something held you back from taking your first bite.
“You'll die if you don't eat!” Buffalo adds, noticing your hesitance. Although, you can't tell if he's mocking or encouraging you.
A tall man appears behind the two, not only towering over them but also you. “If they don't have it in them to eat even when food is placed right in front of them, they’re not good enough to join our family anyways.”
Barely having finished his words, the man pushes Baby 5 and Buffalo to the side. His eyes fixated on you, Doflamingo tries to figure out what's going on in that little head of yours.
“Eat.” He says in a commanding tone, although his eyes soften ever so slightly when you still don't take a bite.
“Listen.” Doflamingo kneels down to be closer to your height. “I have no idea what was going on in my brother's mind to bring you here, but I trust him. That doesn't mean I won't hesitate to throw you overboard if you don't prove you're worth enough to be part of this family.”
Corazon, the man who brought you onto the ship in the first place, only quietly sat somewhere on the ship. His gaze wanders towards you while he lights his cigarette, resulting in his coat catching fire.
As little as the quiet cracking of the fire and smoke blown in your direction by the wind is enough to trigger memories of the last moments you know from your hometown. Instead of taking care of his burning coat, Corazon throws it to the ground and quickly hurries over to you as soon as he noticed your distress. And suddenly, you found yourself lifted up in his arms. His actions not only catch you off guard, but also the rest of the crew. They do know better than judging or questioning their captain’s brother, though.
And so they watch as Corazon holds you, eventually sitting down with you securely on his lap. He makes you feel safe. Safe enough to accept the small spoonfuls of rice Corazon offers to you.
Doflamingo continues observing you, his piercing gaze judging his brother’s softness. Although, he couldn’t deny it was an endearing sight. He would still stick to his words from earlier; even if Corazon was the one to bring you on the ship, he himself would have the final say about keeping you or not. But for now, he decides to let Corazon take care of you. Maybe you’ll be of use once you recover and gain enough strength to prove yourself to him.
Corazon makes a mental note about the fire causing you distress - although that doesn’t mean he’ll stop accidentally setting things on fire. It only means he’ll watch out for you any time it does happen.
After he made sure you ate and drank enough, at least for now, Corazon lifts you off of his lap and gives you a gentle nudge, encouraging you to walk over to the other children, who are staring at you with curious eyes. Especially Baby 5 seems to be eager to make a new friend and properly welcome you to the family. You can only stare back at them with empty eyes. A gaze that is too familiar to one of them.
Ever since Corazon brought you onto the ship, Law only wondered why. You’re weak; nothing like the children the crew would typically take in. But the gaze in your eyes told him more than enough. Somehow, he could sense your feelings as soon as he made eye contact with you; a look of hopelessness; maybe a death wish; but for an unknown reason still wanting to live. Stay alive out of spite, to fight as a sort of revenge to the world that left you and everything you once knew behind.
Much to everyone’s confusion, Law walks towards you and grabs your wrist. The sudden action makes you flinch, but the lack of firmness in his grasp is reassuring enough to know Law wouldn’t hurt you.
“I’ll examine them.” He says, announcing a decision he made for himself. While his words are for the whole crew to hear, they’re mainly directed to you and Doflamingo.
“We need to know if they’re sick or have serious injuries.” Law adds after turning his eyes to the captain.
Doflamingo only shrugs. “If you want to.”
Corazon smiles softly, giving Law an encouraging nod and your hair a gentle ruffle, as if to say “It’s okay.”

( ๑ ❛ ڡ ❛ ๑ ) cuddling with Luffy!
type: non specified relationship (platonic, queerplatonic, romantic - your choice!)
tags: gn!reader x Luffy, silly fluff
Cuddling with Luffy always starts of as pure chaos. He can't sit or lay still unless he's about to fall asleep, which means he has to switch positions like every other minute. He's constantly giggling, stretching his arms to pull you closer, and trying to tickle you so he doesn't only see your smile, but also gets to hear your laugh. Once Luffy calms down, you always end up in the same position. Luffy lays on top of you, his head on your chest. He loves listening to your heartbeat, it calms him down. Once he's like this, you can expect him to be asleep in less than a minute. Which also means you won't be getting up until he's awake again.
