Hey, it’s me goku. Long time huh? Well, as you can see, I’ve decided to archive my fav super saiyan girl… because I opted to reboot her blog! Yeah, no joke. Thing is though, she’s gonna be pretty private! Pretty much a “friends only” deal. You can feel free to follow if you are still around and miss this rambunctious little scamp, but It’ll be pretty selective and likely not super active.

     “No, huh...? Dang, that’s annoyin’...” Oh well, no Dragon Balls here she supposed. She put her hands behind her head. “Naw, looks pretty easy from what I saw.”

     “ No, I can’t say I’ve heard of DRAGON BALLS before. I wonder … could that be the reason these reports are telling me different readings on these people’s souls… no, that can’t be right, people don’t just COME BACK TO LIFE LIKE THAT. It’s absurd… it takes rigorous trials and even then it’s not certain … !”

She takes a bold step closer. “ A parasite apparition, perhaps ? Only you creatures would stoop so low. Why not drop the disguise, I can’t stand looking at you in such a form any longer. ”

     “Uhh-” This woman must have the wrong person, because Kaede had no idea what she was talking about. Her stance remained un-hostile and perplexed. “But I’m not wearin’ a disguise-”

     She actually appreciated the optimism for a change. Chiyori feared her outbursts might cross the line some day, they usually did, but Kaede didn’t seem to care. Flushed, she doesn’t push away when the other’s arms slings round her neck. It felt different this time, like she was seeing kaede for the first time… was she not angry with her ? She had every right to be. The girl’s gaze is hesitant, unsure what to make of this interaction anymore. 

 “ Um  —— ” Eventually shoulders drop. Chiyori didn’t wish to bicker anymore. “ You make is sound so simple... ”

     “’Cuz it is! Ya just gotta look at it differently and not worry that much!” Easy for her to say, but she wholeheartedly believed every word of it. Seeing how people did things differently from each other was just something she did. Something she picked up so early on it felt normal. Granted, there were limits to her understanding, but she always kept an open mind. “We all gotta do our own thing, y’know?”

     Before she even had a chance to raise her voice to explain why this WASN’T dangerous, she was cut off. A moment is taken to check behind her, and to her side. This lady couldn’t be talking to her, could she? A confused look is aimed at the strange woman, Kaede raising a finger to herself as if to ask ‘me?’

     “ It’s dangerous wandering the forests alone, girl. ” Something about this ones scent seemed off. Instinct reasoned her to stray away, to not attack this human—— nose twitched and soon her cautious posture drops. The apparition forces down a scoff, 

“ … I see, you’re not human after all. Tell me demon, why are you harboring this girl’s body? Have you honestly lost your pride—  ”

     ——?! For awhile she’s unable to voice a retort. Each time her lips part, they’d close again, disgruntled noises softly under her breath as she struggles to find the words to defend herself with. Those words hit her harder then she wished to admit, but the whirlwind of emotions it brought to surface were scattered and tarnished. Something she didn’t want to enlighten herself with. 

 “ I can’t !” It ached, every part of that outburst hurt her very soul, there was too much sincerity for it to be another backhanded comment. “ I have no idea what I…” The last part is whispered, but the rest is quickly cut off with a violent scoff. “ Well I know what’s best for myself, you’re the one that’s blind. You wouldn’t understand, you don’t HAVE a  — ”

                     Family. 

Even Chiyori knew she’d almost gone too far. Guilt ridden in her expression, she hastily looks away, ashamed of her actions. “ … you just, wouldn’t get it Kaede. ” But her argument wasn’t valid anymore, even her tone suggested such. 

      Now Kaede just had a look of disgruntled confusion, Chiyori just wasn’t making total sense. Until of course, she picked up on that one thing she said. The part under her breath, that she tried to hide. Immediately, Kaede’s face returned to her normal optimistic and wild grin, completely ignoring the rest of the outburst. She slung and arm around the other girl’s neck and laughed.

     “Is that all? Of course ya don’t know what ya wanna do! That’s the whole point of what I’ve been sayin! Why should ya? We’re kids! We gotta have fun and do stuff we have fun with ‘till we figure it out! I figured it out when I got into fightin’!”

     “ That’s not how life works Kaede–” Clearly the two would never see eye to eye on such matters. “ Jeez. ” nor would Chiyori admit to the holes in her side of the argument, or see that some points Kaede made weren’t invalid. 

     Oh, the mother comment had caused the girl to flush. Both angered and embarrassed, although the latter would be denied. Defensive on such matter she is quick to respond,  “ I already said that dad isn’t the best example, I’m sure he’d prefer to just go off and train ! Is that all you guys think about ? Food and training ? I bet you’d just leave too, wouldn’t you? Urgh, taking to you is no better then talking to him– when will you .. just.. take things seriously ! ” 

      “If ya take everything seriously, ya wont know when ya should!” What was so wrong with being relaxed? It made her happy, and she knew when to put the gears in motion when stuff got real. If anything, Kaede felt Chiyori was being too high strung. “How can ya tell when something’s important if you worry about everythin’ all the time?”

     She scratched her hair with a disgruntled noise. “I can tell ya, not every place and person has th’ same idea of how life works. I know that ‘cuz I like to travel on my own and see new places! There’s no reason you can’t do whatever you wanna do either, just go and do it.”

     “ I- that’s not- urgh ! ” Throwing her hands in the air, she crosses her arms in defense and turns away, cheeks reddening at the unintentional jab. The comment made her sound greedy or, or– “ What are you trying to say about me anyway ? ” Chiyori’s temper and embarrassment aside, deep down she understood. Not that she could relate, no way, but… well, that didn’t matter.  

“ I just think you need to start thinking of your future. You can’t just..do things because their fun, you have to do things you don’t like sometimes ! Even Dad has a job– not that he’s the best example. You should be a little more mindful of your future. ”

     “...But if that’s all I wanna do, and it’s not hurtin’ anybody, then who cares?” She really wasn’t seeing the logic behind this, and just wound up more confused that the other didn’t understand her point. “Just ‘cuz that's what your mom told you ya have to do, doesn’t mean it’s gotta be the same to everyone.”

     She scratched at her nose. “Doesn’t Goku hate doin’ it anyway? If he didn’t have to do it, I bet he wouldn’t. I don’t have t’ do anything, except what I wanna do."
