Margaret Skywatcher

Seventeen year old high school graduate who received a letter detailing a promising equestrian career on the island of Jorvik. She came expecting to spend the next few years in an all paid equestrian program, yet she discovered so much more than a forged letter.

She changed her last name to Skywatcher not long before arriving to the island.

Spent majority of her high school career helping on a ranch in order to ride in exchange. She became well rounded in quite a few disciplines due to the many classes and trainers she worked with.

Anise Meadows

Sixteen year old in her final year of high school. Lives with her Aunt Hazel - who owns a small coffee shop in the Aideen's Plaza area.

Sees herself taking over her aunt's shop once she retires, and hopes to expand it to other cities on the island.

She once wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps when she was younger, but an unfortunate accident caused her to steer away from her mother's career. She recently has been wanting to dip her toes back in that field, yet never had the confidence to do so.

It's been years since I've played the quest, but she says it somewhere in between saving her and the soul sister trail ride. She did apologize for it, but it made my already low opinion of her dwindle. I have seen others mention her comment in turn, but they were also long time players. It could've changed by now. But I've been speeding through my secondary account to see all the story line changes myself.

Also just realized that I made OCs for Margaret to form a bond with only because she doesn't really do so in game.

I mean, yeah, we've been pulled into talks and quests with the other soul riders, but they all feel bland and the character has constantly been left out again and again.

Once Anne was rescued after so many years, I was ready for them to get rid of the player character. Because, as Anne told us, we aren't really a part of the group. And now, it's just being more of a scrapegoat to them and letting Anne do what the fuck ever she wants with no consequence. I get why the have some leeway with her due to her situation, but it isn't fair that the player gets chewed out when we had to clean up Anne's mess with the Dark Riders.

And that's such a huge part in why a lot of the older fanbase wants to join the other side, because we spent years of doing everything ourselves and having to pull back on accomplishments just so a Soul Rider can shine. Especially after doing nothing but running up. Looking at you, Lisa.

She's still my favorite soul rider, but still.

I was actually surprised and felt weight lift off my shoulder when the Dark Riders actually PARTICIPATED in closing the portals. Going through my head on repeat was: "They're not letting me do this alone. But I'm literally their enemy. Yet, they're not leaving me to do this by myself."

I actually took a moment to just watch Sabine actually blast away some of the shadows I haven't touched yet. My soul actually sung. And that probably was the start of my obsession with her now.

I wanted Margaret to actually feel that she belonged to a group that didn't have hidden agendas. To not treat her like she's a replacement that can be thrown away at any moment. To not only be kept around as a free pony express so they don't have to do the dirty work. Just a group of women who cares for each other as they should be cared for; as people with feelings.

Sabine is still the main course of this story with Margaret, but suddenly the other two have joined in during planning, so now it's become "Villains x OC".

She will be kissing each of them at least once, and I can't wait to see how the tension between the dark riders foster as the story goes on.

Pilar Castaneda

The only child to Ines Castaneda, who is also the only child to Dora Ortega. She lives with her mother in Silverglade, but visits her grandmother in Dundell weekly.

In her last year of high school. Seventeen going on eighteen. Have been best friends with Skye for the last three years.

Her mother and grandmother both run a family owned bruja shop in their respective neighborhood. She helps whenever she has free time with both shops.

She was recently gifted her dream horse as an early graduation gift. She's still learning him as he is her.

Skye Dowling

The eldest daughter to multi-Olympic Champion dressage riders, Ceaser Dowling and Winnifred Elise-Dowling. The family is known for breeding and training elite Connemara ponies.

Sixteen year old high school student in her junior year alongside one of her best friends, Pilar.

A naturally giving, loving, and compassionate individual. She rarely fails in making new friends.
