Human Resources聽聽Training
One of your key roles, as a strategic HR partner, is to ensure employees are performing at their best, and if you spend time and money helping them improve performance, you want to show the leaders of your organisation that the improvement made an impact on the business. Any formalised learning in your organisation should be evaluated, so you can justify the expense, determine the effectiveness, evaluate the training itself, and identify room for improvement. One way to do that is with the model created in 1959 by Dawn Kirkpatrick, called the Kirkpatrick Model, and that will be the focus of this course. There are a variety of training models out there, but I'm going to use Kirkpatrick's Model, because it is widely popular, and simple. Before we get started, you may want to print out the worksheet, in the exercise files for this course, so you can follow along. Ready? Kirkpatrick's Model has four levels, reaction, learning, behaviour, and results. Level one, reaction, is the first way to evaluate training.

Workplace management is a lot like nature.. everything needs to work together and then they all prosper. Otherwise things unfortunately begin to fall apart.

Confidence and Assertiveness Training
I think it was Woody Allen who said, 90% of success is just showing up. Now, I don't know if that percentage is accurate but whatever the number is, you can bumpit up a few percentages by doing some additional things in, in how you show up, right? So, show up with some with certain level of confidence in your body language. Bring a positive attitude. Smile, have a little bit of positive energy. Speak up, right? Give them a little bit of eye contact. Be enthused to be there. Now, I'm not saying, of course, that you should be arrogant. But also, on the other hand don't be apologetic. They said yes, they wanted the meeting, you deserve to be there you belong there, act like it. Now, second when it comes to how you conduct yourself in the meeting. You want to have already prepared and prioritised the top questions that you want to ask to the senior person. Get that ready to go, long in advance. And even it might help to rehearse that little bit to avoid the silent Shawn syndrome. When I say top questions, let's talk about specifically what kind of questions.
