(As a woman) WHY IS IT SO HARD TO DRAW A MAN??!?!

Found this and don't remember writing it. Why is it so good??!!!

“So, what’s it gonna be, Impenetrable? The city”—I watch as the eyes of the man I love flicker toward a woman meant to replace me—“or your one true love?”
His jaw tightens at the question. I already know his answer. I know how much it’s going to hurt when he says those few, small words. But he’s the hero of this city. He has a duty. One life over thousands.
I keep telling myself that, over and over again, but it does nothing to ease the ache in my chest.
“The city,” he says.
The smile on the villain’s face vanishes. “Damn. I should’ve expected it, but—damn. Guess you didn’t love her as much as you claimed. Oh well.”
He fires three shots into the woman’s chest. She goes limp. I’m thankful for the bag over her head; I don’t think I could’ve handled seeing her face in that final moment.
Angus doesn’t even look back as he walks out of the building.
I step out from behind a stack of wooden crates and approach the body in the chair. Vander holsters his gun and turns to me as I draw closer.
“Come, my love,” he says, extending a hand. “Let me show you what true love really looks like.”
