2-MONTH SOLO SHOW OPENS IN TAMPA TECO Public Art Gallery Presents: Double Vision | The Conceptual Pop Art of Mark Mitchell A Solo Exhibition Curated by Debra Radke Look deeper. Take in the mind-expanding, slyly subversive work of Mark Mitchell, Conceptual Pop Painter. See beyond the surface of the everyday. Delve into a world of eye-popping color and iconic imagery, ranging from playful themes to compelling social commentary. Explore a collection of twelve paintings that will challenge your mind while feeding your senses. Mark Mitchell will be present on Fourth Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5pm – 7pm for an informal Talk and Tour of his exhibition. Sunsets on the water, and a full moon rising. Flash before your eyes in an instant. Hear the music, feel the heat, enjoy the laughter. Echoes of the past always return, sparkling, shimmering, rising up, with that first sip of beer. So, Hop In. Stay awhile.

Introducing Hop In, an original painting commissioned by Great Bay—Florida's largest distributor of Anheuser-Busch products—for their esteemed corporate art collection. It’s truly one for the beer lover—an homage to all the warm feelings and memories associated with the beloved golden brew. its title is a play on the word “hops”, while the pattern in the piece is derived from the shape of the leaves in the hops bud, beer’s key ingredient.
