Designer Handbags, Purses Trends | Discount Designer Handbags ...
We are crazy for Designer Handbags, and you are welcome here if you want to find out more about your favourite Designer labels and where to buy them. The Designer Handbag phenomenon has been around for ten years and Celebrity It Bags are now photographed in every magazine. Millions of women follow what the stars are carrying, and they want to copy the designer handbag look for themselves. Whether you can afford to buy authentic designer handbags like Burberry or Hermes, or you settle for replica knockoffs, chances are the bag you are carrying is similar to the ones you see in the gossip magazines. Handbags, purses, oversized tote bags and shoulder bags were once just accessories that women needed, they were less important than shoes and jewellery to add the finishing touch to your outfit.
Some of the major labels sell their bags only in their boutiques or at a handful of registered retailers. Others have online shops of their own, and they have licensed online merchants selling their bags as well. If you want to buy a designer handbags online, make sure you only visit accredited websites like the ones featured here. You can buy most brands of designer handbags safely online – worldwide- use these links to buy your favourite designer handbag brands at the best prices- : Armani, Balenciaga, Burberry, Cavalli,  Christian Louboutin, Ted Baker, Chloe, Donna Karan, Fendi, Francesco Biasia,Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Lanvin, Luella, Miu Miu, Moschino,  Mulberry, Prada, Michael Kors,  Lulu Guinness, Anya Hindmarch, Marc Jacobs, Smythson, Versace, Vivienne Westwood.
If you are like most women you probably used the same handbag or purse almost every day, and you only moved your things to a new bag if you wore a special outfit. Handbags and purses for everyday use were sensible and practical, usually in neutral colours.
How things have changed – as part of the boom in watching the celebs, we have started to look very closely at the designer handbags they choose, and many more women around the world want to copy the ideas that they see in their magazines. Buying the replica designer lookalike bag that the stars are carrying is an easy way to bring your look right up to the moment. Fashion houses like Smythson and Mulberry saw the scope of this new market for designer leather goods. Soon there were hundreds of desirable designer bags in ostentatious styles and bright colours. Good examples – the Smythson Maze is this year’s must-have designer handbag, in a cute shade of baby pink. Or how about the Radley Brighton Grab Bag in white?
Kate Moss carries a Balenciaga Lariat
This has not happened by accident – the fashion designers, bag companies and stars have worked together and the celebs are as happy as you and me to get a free handbag from their favourite designer. In return all they have to do is use the purse and, of course, make sure that the paparazzi can get a shot of them!
Now it is normal for women all over the world to crave for designer bags and purses, and to buy them on a massive scale. A handbag or purse for every outfit is not unusual for fashion conscious girls, and the colours and designs are infinite. No longer are handbags and purses restricted to discreet black or brown leather, they come in every size, colour and design you can think of, with extravagant trims and add-ons. Are we talking about that select group of women who will not leave the house without full makeup? No, the buyers of designer bags include normally sensible and sober women, career women, full time mums, students, in fact women in every situation have a weakness for the It Bag. Just watch their eyes glaze over if you mention the names, Louis Vuitton, Hermes or Chanel Designer Bags. Whether you opt for the real thing and the hefty price tag that goes with a designer handbag, or you get a replica copy of the latest catwalk purse, you are part of this feverish designer inspired world.
The Guess Linde Box Bag
If your budget will not allow you to buy the authentic Coach or Dior Designer Handbag that is on your wish list, we have ideas that can help you get the Designer Bag look without the expense. You can get the genuine article for a special occasion at a fraction of the cost. How is it possible to get your hands on a true Designer Purse without the expense? Simple – you can hire a genuine designer handbag for as little as one month. Then next month you can try another: imagine being able to carry an authentic Hermes, Chanel or Prada handbag with you at a fraction of the cost!

No Flies On Pie - Memoirs
So the tech cognoscenti are disappointed with the iPhone 4S - what a surprise. Apple have dropped a major clanger, apparently. The game is up and their competition now has the beating of them. Do me a favour.
Has everyone forgotten what the world was like before some jumped-up computer manufacturer decided to release their first phone to an unsuspecting and conceited smartphone industry? The ‘experts’ got it wrong then and, in my opinion, they’re getting it wrong today.
Now, from reaction to the iPhone 4S, it would appear people are disappointed  because it looks the same as its predecessor. Well boo fuckin’ hoo. Get up to speed people. If Apple did make a mistake it was that they announced iOS5 early. If they had told us about iOS5 and the iPhone 4S at the same time people would have a different opinion.
The iPhone has always been about more than just a pretty box in your hand. Yes, it’s elegant, but it’s real beauty lies deeper than its skin. It’s about how you can achieve so much with so little effort and on such a shallow learning curve - in style. The same goals every other Apple product aspire to.
It’s worth noting that Apple have done this before, and on an even larger scale. But strangely enough, not accompanied by the derision. Let us go back to 2006 - the year Apple released one their most important upgrades to their professional line of computers. An upgrade that included a change of CPU architecture (requiring replacement of all software), more processor power, storage options (four drive bays instead of two), and external ports than the previous Power Mac line - and better value. As you can see from the image below, the difference was dramatic. And just like the iPhone 4S (running iOS5) a better experience for the end user.
Apple has a history of creating compelling, innovative products then evolving, improving and optimising them over a period of time for the benefit of the consumer and ultimately, Apple’s bottom line. When you’re starting with a great design why discard it for purely cosmetic reasons? So many times Apple have made seemingly foolish decisions that go against the perceived wisdom of the time only for us to discover we are more than happy to follow them to a better place we didn’t know existed. I mean, I don’t see those ‘real’ keyboards on smartphones making a big comeback anytime soon. In fact, with the introduction Siri, Apple are doing their best to get rid of keyboards altogether.
For all the talk of Android’s superior market-share (amusing, since Google don’t directly profit from their OS market dominance), as of Q2 2011 Apple has become the worldwide number one single manufacturer of smartphones by revenue, profit, and volume. iPhone is Apple’s most important product and this week it just got better. The tech media can complain all they like but the consumer doesn’t share their concerns. And, I wager, neither does Apple.

Fendi Twins Straw Tote - PurseBlog - Designer Handbags Reviews and ...
Fendi
Fendi Twins Straw Tote
by Megs Mahoney Dusil
Tweet
Winter has not yet arrived and resort bags are hitting the market. One major way to know we are looking at a resort bag is when it is made out of straw. Straw is quintessentially resort/spring material and I have yet to own a straw bag or find a straw bag worth purchasing. The case remains true with the Fendi Twins Straw Tote. The design stems from the popular Fendi Vintage Leather Twins Tote, but takes a fresh look with the straw body. Let’s get into the details.
If we took out the exorbitant price tag, a whopping $2,560, we can sort of start off with a clean slate. We have a simple tote design with leather trim and a straw body. Straw is great for Resort and Spring, it automatically makes me think of the beach, but I simply do not care to own a straw bag. The rectangular pattern created with the straw does give a nice effect though. Then we have the logo details at the bottom of each top handle. So we are doing ok.
Then there is an adjustable shoulder strap, which is always a nice addition. Then again, the large dimensions (16″W X 11½”H X 6″D) are not ideal to be hanging this bag from your body. Overall I am feeling uninspired. And while I tried to take out the price tag when reviewing this bag, I simply could not. Because really, who wants to pay over $2,500 for a straw tote? The name may be Fendi but it is nothing other than an expensive seasonal bag that nearly everyone I know will pass on. Buy through Saks for $2,560.

Sorry to say, but this bag looks like it was a craft project using straw place mats to make a tote bag.

OK I would pay $200 for this bag. I’m sorry I’m a big fan of Fendi and all BUT I like my straw handbag by Michael K better then this one: (

What?!?! $2,560 and straw? That’s just crazy!

Thats insane, I would think no more than 1,000$ for this bag, & even thats pushing it.

Leather ones are better :-) ….

I think this is the most beautiful straw bag I have ever seen and I can’t imagine ever buying it at that price.

This simply is not a nice looking bag!
Mochababe73
I think that it’s cool and different, but that does not justify the price bag. It’s seasonal and most probably wouldn’t use it next season. Unless, of course, they give it to some celebrity to tote around. Then they may get some sales.
LinZi
Keep up the nice work! Look forward to reading more from you in the future. I think it will be also nice if you add “send to email” tool so people can forward the articles to their friends easily.

Another Documentary Looks Inside Vogue - NYTimes.com
Annie Leibovitz
THE editors of Vogue, once notoriously media shy, sure do seem reluctant to give up the spotlight.
Three years after the release of “The September Issue,” the behind-the-scenes documentary that made Grace Coddington a star, the magazine’s charismatic editors are back in a new documentary that will be broadcast on HBO on Dec. 6. This one, called “In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye” and directed by the team of Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, highlights the work of the many strong-willed women who have helped create fashion images for the magazine over several decades.
It also coincides with the publication of a book of the same title, as well as Ms. Coddington’s memoir, and the magazine’s 120th anniversary issue, so you may be wondering what could possibly be left to tell, unless there’s a documentary somewhere in development on the janitors of Condé Nast.
“Oh, there’s a million stories,” Mr. Barbato said. “We feel like this is Chapter 1.”
To differentiate their film from “The September Issue,” Mr. Bailey and Mr. Barbato, whose credits include “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” focused on the stories behind the famous photographs. They are told by Vogue editors, past and present, all of whom share a tendency to decorate their homes with images from the magazine, and most of whom speak in fabulously entertaining ways, like Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, who pronounces the word “real” like a howler monkey clearing its throat.
While reverential (Mr. Bailey and Mr. Barbato describe themselves as “obsessed” with the Vogue editors), “The Editor’s Eye” still flicks at the intensely competitive environment of Vogue.
“There’s a certain loneliness to being a fashion editor,” Polly Allen Mellen says in the film, describing her years as a protégé of Diana Vreeland. When other editors became jealous of her fast success, Ms. Mellen said that Ms. Vreeland gave her this advice: “Who needs friends? Get on with it.”
No one said working at Vogue was going to be a walk in the park, but this show makes the job look as if it should come with hazard pay.
Phyllis Posnick once asked a fearless model to pose with a bee on her lips. And Susan Train, a Paris bureau chief, described a photo shoot on a remote mountainside in Turkey, where a general mistook her crew for members of the Peace Corps.
She recalled her response: “I said grandly, ‘Oh, no, not at all. We’re Vogue.’ “
A version of this article appeared in print on November 29, 2012, on page E4 of the New York edition with the headline: What Do You Mean, ‘Cut’?.

Rakhi Sawant - Pakistani Girls Pictures, Desi Girls, Local Girls ...
Hot Rakhi Sawant Got 15000 Marriage Proposals Hot Rakhi Sawant Got 15000 Marriage Proposals Rakhi Sawant, the controversy queen, is gearing up for her “Swayamvar” on national television with NDTV Imagine's show “Rakhi Ka Swayamar”.
When we last reported about the show, Rakhi had received 12, 515 proposals. The number has now gone up to 15,000.
The item girl is elated with the 15,000 marriage proposals and feels it will be a big challenge for her to shortlist 15 prospective grooms out of the whole lot.
Rakhi will choose from among these15 grooms on the show that will trace Rakhi's journey from selecting a groom to the marriage ceremony.
Over the duration of the show, the 15 prospective grooms will be brought together under one roof and put through a series of challenges that will test their personality, character, physical fitness, talent and also their compatibility with Rakhi.
All through the series, viewers can help Rakhi decide, by voting for or against the prospective grooms and the final week will present the wedding celebrations.
Says Rakhi, "I got to know that I have received 15,000 proposals till now, and am really feeling good about it. I am very excited and am looking forward for the show to start."
From businessmen to models and from NRI's to doctors and engineers, these prospective grooms come from all walks of life. The calls, SMS's and emails are still flowing from cities like Nagpur, Indore, Patna, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. Most entries are in the broad age group of 18 to over 35.
"I am really surprised and also confused as to how to select 15 from them. Let's see what is in store for me", she adds.
If the buzz is to be believed, Rakhi might not end up marrying at the end, though it has been claimed that she will marry the show’s winner.
Reacting to this, Rakhi states, "If you want to write this or believe it, I don't mind. Having said this, you may never know though I am very positive about it. After all, whatever is destined to happen will happen."
To get into the “marriage mood” Rakhi has changed her caller tune to the song “Tera Yahan Koi Nahi” from the film “Prem Rog”.
"I do not know whether I will shift after marriage. But as of now, I want to enjoy the rituals of marriage," she says.

I often attend the theatre with my wife (I am opposite-married). We like to go at 1pm on Sundays and pretend we are in a Children of Men-style dystopia where we are the youngest people on Earth. Today we saw Doctor Octopus in The Jeffrey Tambor Story. It was a “two-hander” (a theatrical term for a play in which there are only two actors with two functioning hands between them). A potentially perfect afternoon of listening to elderly people snoring was ruined! First, whenever the actors were in profile, their powerful plosive ps caused great clouds of spit to become visible against the lights. It happened so much that I wondered if they were signaling something to each other, in some sort of saliva-based variation on smoke signals. Second, there must have been some Craisins somewhere on set, perhaps crushed up and used in the painting of the scenery, because I have a severe Craisins allergy, and my throat was all but sealed shut for the entire performance. I could barely swallow the Craisins I was eating by the handful. All in all, I would have to say, the theatre is no place for people; and with great power comes great responsibility.
