Couple or Trouble (2006)

AKA Fantasy Couple

Starring: Han Ye Seul, Oh Ji Ho, and Km Seong Min

Storyline:

Anna Jo is am heiress to the fortune of her father, a real estate agent. As she returns home from New York to her unhappy husband, she gets lost and ends up a in a ditch. Jang Chulsoo, seeing an oppritunity, agrees to help her for 30 dollars. She misunderstands the red paint on his jacket and the mannequin in his backseat and hits him with a door. Anna returns home and her husband asks for a divorce. In a melodramatic moment drinking on her yacht, she throws her ring and falls over the edge of the boat, waking up in the hospital where Chulsoo was (from fetching his tools from the water, being rescued by emergency workers, then swearing revenge on her), not remembering who she is. 

Rating:  5 out of 5

Review:

I liked it. Its classy, simple, and good for transitioning. Its entertaining to watch them argue and I think both Han Ye Seul and Oh Ji Ho are hot. 

ENDING I give it a B+/A-. 

ROMANCE If you like watching couples argue, this is for you. I actuallly found it cute, especially because of the circumstances.

My Name is Kim Samsoon (2005)

AKA My Lovely Samsoon

Starring: Kim Sun Ah and Hyun Bin

Rating:  5 out of 5

Storyline: Kim Samsoon is a baker who just found out her boyfriend had been cheating on her! After finding out she gained weight and continued being jobless, boyfriendless, and average until she meets Hyun Jin Hun, the arrogant owner of a restaurant who not only hires her, but creates a dating contract with her to set his grandmother astray. 

Review: What can I say? Its Hyun Bin and Kim Sun Ah, this couldn't be a bad drama no matter what. Firstly, I love the way Kim Sun Ah plays Samsoon. Shes strong and doesn't take shit from anyone, which is refreshing to the damsel cliche. And although Hyun Bin always plays this kind of arrogant character, with this one there was a little boy charm that I absolutely adored added in. The fact that he was bossy and childish at the same time a man falling in love really gave him an edge. And can I just add Daniel Henney and Jung Ryeo Won? The most gorgeous people ever in almost every scene together??? I died. Moving on, the story was just heartwarming, every episode there is something memorable. There is no bitch to worry about splashing water on someones face, the grandmother was angry but in a cute way not a slap-the-girl annoying way. In addition the characters were so unique and didn't rely on each other to exist (if that makes sense). It gets a 5/5 because everything came together. 

ENDING I dont actually remember the ending too well, so i'll re-watch and hand you that later~

ROMANCE Well, you've got two actors who aren't afraid to show some passion, so lets give that an applause. On top of that, I felt comfortable watching them as a couple, rather than feeling a little at edge about their relationship. AND you actually get to see them happy together for a substantial amount of time and not just a half episode~
