Today was one of your few days off studying. Since it was early in the morning, you decided to go for a calming walk to clear your head. You scurry off the stairs past the dorms and run out of the seemingly endless castle, one deep inhale and you transform into your animagus form, a cat, a black cat to be more precise.

Everything always seemed so scary and big in your tiny furry body, but at the same you felt free, free from the stress of your OWL's coming soon, free from the school drama, ...

You were content, happy even with the sun in your face and-- an abrupt bark stops your train of thought. What the-? What dog could possibly be walking through Hogwarts? Your tail lowers down, on high alert for even a spark of movement... For a minute u don't see anything but another bark is heard, closer this time.

You turn around just in time for a big fluffy black dog to be face to face with you. You jump up and hiss loudly, your claws digging into the ground under you, your black hair standing up, trying to intimidate the big four legged creature infront of you. The dog slightly tilts his head, like it's curious about you. Why would it possibly be curious about you?! You stare it down for a moment before running between it's legs towards Hogwarts, where you'll be safe.

You hear footsteps behind you, it's following you. You turn between the trees to try and loose the dog before miauwing loudly. Maybe you'd catch someone's attention? Maybe they'd save you from this foul beast that's following you.

You look back not focusing where your going until you bump into someone, you jump back still on high alert of the dog, before looking up and seeing Remus? The quiet kid in your divinations class, he always seemed so sweet and approachable, but now in your cat form you shrink away with your tail tucked between your legs.

Hands wrap around your body, and you miauw insisting to put you down. "Sirius, really? Chasing a poor cat through Hogwarts? Don't you have anything better to do, like studying for your OWL's?" The dog that was chasing you mere seconds ago, transforms into...Sirius? You didn't know of any other animagi going to Hogwarts.

You hide in Remus's hands and miauw again. "The poor cat was probably scared half to death!" Says the brown haired boy while grinning. "Sorry, sorry, I was just trying to befriend the feline before it ran away on me! How come she doesn't run away on you?! That is so not fair!" Sirius says frowning deeply and crossing his arms dramatically over his chest. Remus chuckles before dropping you on the ground again. "Come on Sirius, clouds are rolling in and I expect there to be rain soon..." You quickly scurry off, but you seemingly can't forget Remus.

The next time you see them, you're in the grand hall. Eating with your friends but staring past them, past the other students, right at Remus. "Are you even listening to me?!" You turn to look at your bestfriend Willow. "Yeah yeah I am... okay no I'm not but in my defense-" She cut you off. "What were you even looking at?"

All of a sudden Sophie speaks up. "It's not a what..." Sophie has always been the quiet one of the friend group, Merlin why couldn't she have been quiet right now! You think to yourself before Willow gasps "You like someone!" I internally groan, Willow has been trying to set you up since 4th year, but you just never liked someone enough to be with them.

"Who is it? Is it Regulus, Severus? No couldn't be... you've got more of a gryffindor type don't you? James? Peter? Sirius? Is it Remus!?" You slap a hand on her mouth. "Merlin! Could you be any louder!" You whisper yell to her before slowly lowering your hand.

"Look I don't like any of them and even if I did, what's the chances Remus would even like me back?" Willows eyes widen with glee and Sophie fails to stiffle a chuckle. I groan loudly and run my hands down my face. "This is a nightmare..." "You like Remus!?" You and Willow both say at the same time, one clearly louder then the other.
