I don’t know what it is but this happens every conference I go to. I end up stumbling into making connections with super influential people in the discipline who invite me into their circles (and also invite me to dinners) without even trying?? Like I don’t even go up to them, they physically come to me, a lowly early career researcher. Networking is the worst so the universe decided I didn’t need to do it and just throw people at me instead - 🧚🏻 (ps what the living fuck is Daniel doing)
