Penghujung Malam

Ya Allah, jika hatiku terasa sempit, aku mohon lapangkanlah. Aku sandarkan semuanya padamu, atas kebaikan atau ujian yang engkau berikan. Lembutkanlah hatiku agar bisa menerima kebaikan, agar mudah pula mata ini menangis karena sadar betapa diri ini lemah dan butuh sandaran padamu, bukan manusia.

"اللهم لا ترولى دعوة تمناها قلبي"

"O Allah, do not reject a prayer that my heart desires"

اللهم لا تدع هذا رمضان يمضي حتى تغفر لي ذنوبي وتكتبني من أهل الجنة

O Allah, do not let this Ramadan pass until You forgive my sins and write me among the people of Jannah

Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما “Do not look at a person's prayer or fasting, rather look at the truthfulness of his words when he speaks, his honesty when he is entrusted with something and his piety (wara) when he thinks of committing a sin.”

Whoever wants to be the richest of people, let him trust what is in Allah’s Hand more than his own.

Normalise saying, “Allahumma inni asalukal-afiyah”.

Now, you’ve made dua to save yourself from any afflictions, to be healthy, to have enough money, to live, to have one’s children protected and to be granted forgiveness with no punishment.

So be patient, for the promise of allah certainly is true. And do not be disturbed by those who have no sure faith.
