Second version of Snurre, now with more lava.
My first attempt at lava and while it needs work, I was happy so far.

Snurre! This is the standard version of Snurre, or at least the one I call Snurre. Yes, I’m old.

The last of my quick creations, a large air elemental. I priced how much the plastic minis were selling for and snorted.
I didn’t have access to a 3D printer at the time, so I made this out of Model Magic. Cost about a buck to make including paint. The base is 10’ Square.

I purchased this paint circa 1989 in Topeka, Kansas at The Gatekeeper. While searching for some 20/0 brushes I knew I had, I found this jar and several others. All but two are still good. As you can see, the paint still glows when exposed to light.
I made a quick will o’wisp out of clay and a paperclip, made the base from clay as well. After it dried, I painted it with the Ral Partha paint. I was impressed.
I dry brushed a bit on my backup divine soul tiefling as well. I know it’s a sorcerer mini, but oh well.

Teronus. This thing is a beast and heavy as can be. It’s my current project and being painted with colors chosen by a dear friend. Here’s hoping she likes the final product when I get it done.

I also got to tough up the paint on Bahamut and Huma’s Silver Dragon.
Several hundred dollars worth of minis across the table that week.

Had an old Grenadier Spectral Dragon brought to me by a friend that wanted it repaired and repainted.
After some careful fitting, needle file work, and a lot of paint stripping, along with a bit of Milliput, it’s back in business.
