The more I watch the same people scream about Palestine but complain they can't call their elected officials or do anything meaningful in the US, the more I am sure that this isn't about anything but finding a Cause to attach to that allows them to moralize in a way that will never demand anything real from them at all. They don't have to sacrifice anything, they can just moralize and patronize and condescend.
