You probably won't return all of the things I am about to write. But that's understandable. I don't think I know anyone who has experienced something like this, so I feel lost. I feel so overwhelmed. I have to get this out of my chest. I love you. I love you and I will cherish you until the sun blows up. I will be with you until everyone in the world dies. I will hold your hand and be giddy until my untimely death. I want to hold you until my lungs explode. I want to take care of you despite how impatient I'm currently being. I want to kiss you all over and give you the world. I would do that if I could. I would do everything to make you happy. I would do anything to see that lovely smile on your face. I always wonder why you hate it. You're adorable, you're so adorable when you watch videos and hold my stuffed animal like they're watching with you. I wonder why you say people won't like you when I want to introduce you to them. You socialize so well, I'd think you're the most charismatic person to ever exist. I wonder why you cannot get the courage to stand up for yourself. But even though I don't understand, I can sympathize because I want to see you grow. You're already growing so much since I've been trying to get you out of your shell. I'm so proud of you. I will wait for you. I will do anything for you. You're someone I can't bear to lose, I will probably lose all the ability to function without you. But if you leave high and proud. I will smile. I will be happy. I will still keep smiling for you because seeing you stand up a mountain I couldn't climb before makes me feel like I'm standing next to you. I'm not. But it feels like it. I have lots of problems I cannot control, that's why I don't speak when I can barely hold it in. I do the boldest things at my most vulnerable. That's why I hold your hand when I notice you're struggling under the judgemental eyes of people. That's why I lean on your shoulder when you try to solve a math problem. Alpha was a regular robot in the past. You were a scientist, helping your uncle; Dr. Baker.

You did regular upgrades on him. Treating him as a human and not as a mindless robot, because of that, things escalated from there.

At first, Alpha became interested. Requesting Dr. Baker for enhanced eye upgrades so he could scan you. Everything about you.

After the very first time he used his eye upgrades however, his demands for more upgrades so he could see, and try to feel your hands on him escelated.

Irregular warnings became a regular for him whenever he thought of you, but all of them, he ignored.

His movements became more loose, smooth and precise after the fifth upgrade, and the seventeenth time he had talked to you.

Though you noticed a bunch of those things becoming more and more visible on Alpha. You only thought it was your uncle's doing.

Therefore, you ignored, and became ignorant of the errors that appeared on his code. It wasn't that you had a lot of trust in your uncle. It was because of Alpha himself.

Everytime you saw an error, he always had an excuse so you wouldn't re-code the irregularities in his programming.

"Dr. Baker made my movements more realistic so I could react faster in fights."

Lies, lies, lies. But who can keep sane when one's mentality is fighting one another? In Alpha's case, his code is fighting the irregularities becoming self-concious in his body.

Before the night that Saber's chaotic escape brought destruction and panic for the lab. Alpha convinced you to stay back and analyze the irregularities.

It was a chance to find out the malfunction, so you agreed.

That was when he kissed you. Evaluated all his feelings and releases it in the kiss in the form of passion. Love.

From that day on, he swore to protect you, and put you above everything else. Even above his mission to eliminate Saber.

“So… you can tell what I'm thinking just by staring at me?” You inquired, leaning over the control panel before you. Your wondering eyes were waiting for a response from this new creation your father had worked on.

You weren't supposed to be here, though. Your father has prohibited you from going close to his so-called creation ever since that incident happened. That's the reason why there's a firm glass wall containing him, resulting in separating you two.

Your father once said that once he's adapted to more human behaviour and not to how he was coded, he's going to be a pure threat to humanity. He's too dangerous, your father would warn you endlessly. But you can't help it—you always find yourself yearning to be in his presence. You're kind of betraying your father, but hey, you did feel guilty, but that was quickly thrown to the other side.

Now that his eyes are trained on yours as if scanning your face for each and every detail, he processes the best response you might love to hear.

He murmurs, “Correction. I can detect what someone's current emotions and thoughts are when I scan their expressions. However, know that this is still newly installed on my program.”

You hummed in disappointment but an idea popped in your head. He watched your every move as you ducked to grab something and pulled out a clipboard with a smile on your face. “Here we go! I could help you improve it, start by scanning my face.”

The tech behind the glass wall was hesitant, thinking that following someone else's order other than his master might result in disloyalty. However, as he weighs his options, something in the back of his mind tells him to obey you. He tries to reason that maybe it's because you're his master's daughter or someone who genuinely makes him feel a little more human.

You stood still as you patiently watched him scan you. Though, midway through scanning, he stops and clears his throat again—like he found something he shouldn't have—then he continues, “Scan completed. You currently have emotions of curiosity, nervousness, and a strong sense of affection…?”

You immediately pull back to cover your face with the clipboard in your hands, and sheepishly laugh, “I– uh, cough really? You could tell all that by simply looking at m-me?” You tumble in your words as red hues spread across your face, embarrassment evident in your tone.

“I do, and... May I ask, where are these emotions towards to?” He hesitantly asked, afraid he might be overstepping your boundaries. He was also disappointed as to why you had to cover your face suddenly. He leans over the glass, “May I also ask why you're hiding your face?”

You hesitantly lower the clipboard so that your eyes can only be seen, but your eyes were still not meeting his, which causes him to frown. You mumbled, “It’s complicated... and stupid too.”

“What kind of thought would seem stupid to the smart daughter of my creator?”

Your cheeks flushed red again. You felt a bit delirious—was the man in front of you flirting, or was it something else entirely?

He stared worriedly, clearly not wanting to cause you more embarrassment. "I didn't mean to intrude," he whispered. "If you can't tell me, then it's alrig—”

“No!” You instantly covered your mouth, both of you were shocked by your outburst. You quickly tried to compose yourself. “I’m sorry, but I've had this strange feeling for you ever since my father introduced us—a-and I know it sounds silly. It's just... You were there one moment and then gone the next. If it weren't for you, I would have died in that breakout.”

You covered your face with your hands, hoping for the answer you were praying for. Instead, there was a deafening silence that made you wish you could just bury yourself alive. Soon, tears threatened to drop to your cheeks. 

“Don’t cry,” he whispered lowly. “Please don't.”

He groaned, and you gathered every bit of willpower to look at him, bracing yourself for a disgusted or pitiful expression. But instead, he was covering the lower half of his face with his hand, his cheeks flushed red. As if a normal human blushing.

He spoke slowly. "You... I mean, I was afraid I would make a fool of myself if I were the one confessing to you. But it seems you're feeling the same way... I mean—who could resist you? I-I sorry, what I mean…”

You sniffed and suddenly burst into laughter, shaking off the embarrassing emotions from earlier. Alpha felt relieved to see you joyful again. He couldn't help but smile unconsciously, loving the sound of your laughter.

You paused to take a deep breath, and your eyes searched for his, filled with adoration for you alone. Your lips curled into a melancholic smile. "If only I could free you from their doing," you murmured, "I wouldn't hesitate for a second.”

He chuckled quietly. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, to save you from my master's scolding." But then he looked a bit worried, "However, um, I might not be able to love you like a true human could.”

You let out a hum, nodding in understanding as you processed his words. A warm smile spread across your face as you looked at him. "Don't worry," you reassured him, your voice gentle. "I'll be here to guide you every step of the way."

He stared at you for a moment, feeling grateful to have someone like you around, and it seemed like he was amazed by what you were offering. You watched as he reached out, placing his hands flat on the other side of the glass wall. "That would be great," he said. "But if it ever gets too much for you, just let me know, okay?”

You let out a sigh, feeling the weight lift off your shoulders as you placed your hand where he was on the other side of the glass. He leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "Let's just enjoy this moment for now," he said softly.

"Where are we going?" You giggle as Alpha leads you by the hand, your eyes covered by a white blindfold. Alpha hums, leading you through the grass with careful steps so you won't trip or stumble.

"You'll see soon... We're almost there." Alpha says as he continues to walk, guiding you. It didn't take long as Alpha soon stands behind you, his hand holding onto your waist. You can feel his hot breath when he leans towards you.

"We're here. I'm going to take your blindfold ok?" He says as his hands soon reach up to the ends of the blindfold, taking it off. Your eyes widened at the sight, it was a beautiful picnic setup. Fairy lights hang from the tree and the picnic blanket laid on the ground with soft pillows. Food consisting of sandwiches, salads, sausage rolls, cookies and brownies were spread delectably on the picnic blanket. Beside it was a glass of wine and two glasses for the two of you to drink from. Alpha had put every thought into making this for you. And you couldn't be happier with how caring and thoughtful your boyfriend is.

"Alpha... This.. this is so beautiful..." You say as you look around in wonder. Alpha smiles, watching you take in your surroundings.

"Beta helped me in arranging all of this. I wanted it to be one of the most memorable moments for you..." He says as he leads you to sit down. You get comfortable as you sit beside him, grabbing a pillow and putting it on your lap. "I'm glad you do..." He whispers, holding you tight.

Beta soon changed the music to a slow romantic rhythm which made you chuckle. Alpha smiles and leads you to the meadow, both his arms wrap around your waist. You immediately get the hint and with a smile, you wrap your arms around his neck.

You both begin to sway slowly, the dark night sky littered with thousands of stars. You wish you could stay in this forever as the two of you slowly danced. Alpha meanwhile was etching this very moment deep into his memory core. He loves you. So much so that sometimes he wonders if he's even truly just a 'robot' like what others call him. You made him feel alive truly. And he was forever grateful, for the love that you've shown him.

"I love you, Y/n... Thank you.. thank you for everything you've done for me. For being a part of my life... And for loving me." He whispers, pressing his forehead against yours.

A bright pink dusts over your cheeks. Alpha always had a way with both words and gestures. A smile placed on your rosy lips. You leaned towards him to give him a quick yet soft kiss.

"I love you too Alpha. I'm happy that you're a part of my life too... Thank you for always taking care of me and keeping me out of danger." You giggle at the last part, as he was always so protective. Alpha chuckles, pressing a kiss to your forehead. And another to your nose. and finally, he reaches down to your lips. Kissing you with so much love that you couldn't help but return it as the moon shines brightly above the two of you. As if the moon herself, was giving her blessing for you and Alpha's love.
