Gacha vs Real Mecha

Who can become a gacha and what's the difference between gacha and mecha?

Who can be a Gacha?

The short answer is everyone. To longer answer is that every existing Transformers, including colony created mecha as well as Insecticons, can be found in the Matrix Gacha after they have reached their second frame at minimum. (Excluding Special Edition "First Frame/Sparkling" Gacha)

What about offlined mecha?

Mecha who have offline will be no longer in the Matrix Gacha. This does not include unopened gacha created previous to their offlining.

How similar are gacha to the real mecha?

The gacha will be programmed with the basic personality matrix of the mecha they're representing. They are also programmed with base reactions towards other gacha's as well as inactive versions of bonds the mecha has. That aside, they do not share the memory core of the real mecha and are a total blank slate experience wise. This allows for the cohabitation of otherwise incompatible gacha (e.g. Starscream and Megatron) under the right circumstances.

Gacha Bonds

What kind of bonds do Gacha have? Can they even bond?

Pre-Created Bonds

Gacha's do not come with fully developed bonds. However, Gacha of mecha with twins, triplets, Trine, or another predetermined or established bond come with an underdeveloped bond start.

If a Gacha of such kind is not introduced to a Gacha of the mecha with the other end of the bond, it remains dormant. While a Gacha might be able to sense the bond start and be aware of something missing, it does not impact a Gacha further.

Should a Gacha, however, be introduced to a Gacha holding the other dormant end of the bond, it will activate to mirror a true bond of the same kind.

New Bonds

Gacha's are not able to establish bonds that are not pre-created in them. This means they cannon create Amica bonds and have no ability to Conjunx.

Welcome to Matrix Gacha

This blog is centred around a Gacha AU. This post will hold all the core information and need-to-know.

What is the Gacha AU about?

In the Gacha AU, gacha's have become popular among the Cybertronian population pre-war, but not just any gacha, but gacha of existing mecha. This is not restricted to know mecha of the time, but to any mecha that has been or is alive. This blog is to allow a look into a universe where this is reality.

What does a gacha look like and how does it work?

Like the gacha systems of our world, gacha's are based on luck (mostly). They come in a ball the size of an average Cybertronian's servo and activate upon being opened. Every gacha comes with a preprogrammed personality to mimic the mecha they look like. The gacha of an averaged sized mecha would be the size of one average servo length.

Like in reality, there is a rarity system with some gacha rarer than other's, additionally to that therr are different generation of gacha, as well as special editions. Generations display the development of the mecha the gacha is based on, while special editions represent AU's.

Where and when does this AU take place?

The Matrix Gacha stretches across all continuities and can be set anywhere on the Timeline as gacha are a pre-war development.
