ARIES in progress for upcoming MUSICA UNIVERSALIS Zodiac deck. At this stage I have applied the pan pastel to the board and have lightly sprayed everything with workable fixative. Once dried I begin laying down the first layer of Dr. Martin's inks.

Pan pastel and ink on illustration board. This one threw me a curve ball near the end. Originally the wreath crown and extended hair were not part of the plan but were definitely needed! I've never tried adding this much of a cover up using just ink but we learn through happy mistakes!
