"We (Federal Reserve) are concerned that the primacy of the U.S. Dollar could be in long-term jeopardy from wide adoption of digital fiat currencies," i.e. the Fed publicly admits it's considering creating a digital USD because it's afraid something else (Bitcoin? Libra? A yet to be named 'China-coin') will replace it. #DigitalCurrency #BitcoinNews â view on Instagram https://ift.tt/3379qOE

What's your "Twitter pitch"? I started asking this, instead of "elevator pitch", at my last University talk to help students clarify their message. The biggest problem with massive data collection isn't Facebook, or "the Russians", or IoT devices... The problem is us. Our eagerness to confuse "your data" with "data about you". What would you do if your company was hit with ransomware? 1 in 5 who PAY the ransom never retrieve they're data. Would you take the 20% risk? Some companies are actually budgeting FOR ransomware payments, like you would budget for asset depreciation, because their "risk model" says it's cheaper than upgrading their security. I wonder if they've taken this aspect into account đ¤ https://lnkd.in/gQ34wpX #ransomware #cybersecurityawarenessmonth #cios #cisos â view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2pp5PNK

Question I was asked on @quora the other day... . "Are all these âsocial media influencersâ really living the life they put on to be?" . My answer: Not at all. . Instagram is is an advertising tool whether that advertising is paid or not. . What you see on Instagram (and most social media for that matter) is a series of highlight reals. . You'd be amazed how many influencers will rent a location, models, vehicles, clothes, jewelry, etc. then âbatch create" a content for a day. . With wardrobe changes and mixed combinations of people, lighting, times, and accessories they can easily create a years worth of âluxury lifestyle" content in a single day for a relatively low cost. . Did you know... You can now verify certain skills on LinkedIn through skills assessments? Why is that important especially for #jobseekers ? The skills section of your LinkedIn profile is the third most important, to the LinkedIn algorithm, after your headline and summary sections. Yep, even more important than work history or educational background. What does that mean? When an employer is searching for candidates, LinkedIn leans on that skill section heavily to decide who to show. Soooooo..... If someone's searching for a person with your skills, who would you rather be... The person who's verified? Or the one who's not? . . . . . #MBv3 #HackYourRep #linkedintip #digitalreputation #digitalfootprint #branding101 #reputationmanagement #onlinereputationmanagement #personalbrandingtips #brandingstrategy #brandingexpert #brandingsolutions #brandinginspiration #socialmediatips #socialmediamarketing #smchat #socialmediaexpert #socialmediacoach â view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2lltf51

What are Google Sitelinks & How do you remove unwanted Sitelink? Google sitelinks are sub-listings of other pages on a brands site that show up under the main page when that brand is searched for (example below). Google shows the sitelinks it believes will be relevant to the user . There is no guaranteed way to either add it remove remove them. You can, however, make them more (or, in your case, less) likely to appear by using structured data, often referred to as schema markup, and sitemaps. Normally, web devs and SEO specialists to add sitelinks to Google. They'll add a sitemap and structured data to the home page telling Google how to traverse the site properly. You likely won't be able to remove the sitelinks Google's chosen to show but you may be able to change them to show other pages. Create a sitemap (or edit your current one) ensuring the pages you don't want linked are excluded and include only the pages you do want linked. Then, use Google's structured data guidelines ( Follow the structured data guidelines | Search | Google Developers) to map out even more detail about your sure for Google's crawlers.
