1.Red Fort
Lal Quila another name of Red Fort. Red fort is a famous historic monuments of Delhi. It is situated at Old Delhi near Chandni Chowk. It has a top tourist visiting spot. Built by famous Mughal emperor Shahjahan, the Red Fort includes many monumental buildings built inside its wall. A good place for visiting with family and friends.
2. Humayun’s Tomb
Humayun’s Tomb is situated on Mathura Road, New Delhi. Built by a grieving wife for her husband. The complex consist of three major buildings that acts as tombs of three different Mughal greats. The tomb are bordered by lush green garden. It design and style remarkable resemble of the Taj Mahal.
3. Qutub Minar
The tallest tower in India, Qutub Minar. The 73 meter tall tower was built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak.Qutub Minar is situated at Mehrauli, New Delhi. A good place for visiting with family and friends.
4. Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple are also known by name Bahai Temple. Lotus temple resemble to lotus flower. Lotus symbolizes four religion namely Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism and Jainism. The place is serene and is open for prayers and meditation. The nine pools of water around the petals is a sight to watch at dusk.
5. Akshardham Temple
Akshardham Temple, is one of the world’s largest Hindu Temple. In Akshardham Temple, you will find the temple, museum, several parks and a huge cultural center that sparks light on the traditions and customs followed in India. The place is serene and is open for prayers and meditation. You can also go for boating in the water canals here.
6. Tughlaqabad Fort
Tughlaqabad Fort was the dream of the Sultanate dynasty, Ghiyas-ud-din Tughlaq. Tughlaqabad still consist of remarkable, massive stone fortifications that surround the irregular ground plan of the city. Tughlaq also built Qutub-Badarpur Road, which connected the new city to the Grand Trunk Road. The road is also known as Mehrauli- Badarpur Road.
7. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib holds special significance for Sikhs. The place is serene. It is one of the best place of pilgrimage in Delhi. It has special place Sikhs because of its relation with the eight Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan who stayed here to thousands suffering from cholera and epidemic. The lake inside the gurudwara is also a worth a visit for its serenity.
8. National Geographic Park
National Geographic Park is situated on Mathura Road, New Delhi. The Zoo is a huge green park .It is maintained with an intention to preserve the biodiversity of the country. It is the home of the some of the rare wildlife animal . The entire zoo is explore by foot if you want to witness of white tigers, Indian elephant, Bengal royal tiger in their natural surroundings.
